HderH - Eco Lodge op vakantiepark De IJsvogel, zwembaden, kids fun, natuur en rust

Bed was beslapen, haren, bloedvlekken, etc. Bij aankomst konden we niet naar binnen met code. Deur was aan binnenkant afgesloten. Toitlet en douche enorme rioolstank Geen schaar, geen theepot, etc.

Very nice and spacious house with all you need. The area was very peaceful, perfect to relax after a day out and about. Great contact with Ron 🙂 Easy to recommend 😊

Le lodge est très sympa, tout en bois et plutôt confortable pour un hébergement de ce type. Bien situé pour explorer la région, à 20 minutes environ du paleis het loo et du musée Kröner-Müllen. Supermarché à 5 minutes en voiture. Le camping est calme. Accueil sympathique du propriétaire.

Il manquait juste un séche cheveux, avec la piscine cela aurait été utile.

Die Holzhütte ist zwar recht funktional eingerichtet, dabei aber total geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Uns hat es an fast nichts gefehlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das besondere Raumklima. Durch die Holzwände und das begrünte Dach, lassen sich auch sehr heiße Tage gut aushalten und man kommt zu erholsamem Schlaf. Richtig schön ist es auch auf der überdachten kleine Terrasse auf der man frühstücken oder den Abend ausklingen lassen kann. Auch für den Fall dass es mal regnet. Außerdem bietet die Anlage viele tolle Möglichkeiten. Es gibt fast jeden Tag Kinderanimation, das kleine Hallenbad und der Außenpool sind auch fantastisch. Unsere Kinder haben es sehr genossen, das alles selbstständig zu erkunden. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Gastgeber Ron war stets per Handy erreichbar, kam uns persönlich begrüßen und hatte allerhand tolle Tipps für die wirklich wunderbare Umgebung parat. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft zwischen Bäumen. Fußläufig ist man schnell im großen Waldgebiet.

Everything, the house is new and very beautiful and has everything you may need. The location is great to enjoy the surroundings. Ron has been super helpful!

We missed a bit of airco but it has been the hottest weekend in Dutch history 😅

Een onvergetelijk weekend met vrienden waar we zeker nog lang over zullen napraten! De locatie was simpelweg magisch, maar wat de ervaring écht compleet maakte, was de onnavolgbare sfeer van de blokhut. De warmte die het interieur uitstraalde en het premium comfort zorgden ervoor dat we ons meteen thuis voelden. Er is aan elk detail gedacht: de ruime gemeenschappelijke ruimtes waren perfect voor lange gesprekken en gezellige bordspelavonden, terwijl de slaapkamers zorgden voor voldoende privacy en een heerlijke nachtrust. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien en de omgeving is heerlijk rustig – de perfecte ontsnapping aan de hectiek van alledag. Als je op zoek bent naar een plek waar de natuur en maximaal comfort samenkomen, dan is dit het wel! We komen hier absoluut nog een keer terug. Ik kan het iedereen van harte aanbevelen!

Leuke houten lodge om te zien. Prettig om te verblijven! Goede communicatie met Ron. Leuk vakantie park!

Fijne plek

Heel fijn huisje op een rustige plek van het park, heerlijke plek om buiten te kunnen eten en voldoende ruimte binnen met 2 slaapkamers en een badkamer. Fijn contact met de eigenaar gehad.

Er zijn geen dingen als olijfolie/peper/zout aanwezig dus dat is handig om te weten als je zelf wilt koken.

Das Haus wunderschön es passt einfach alles Ron ist ein sehr netter hilfsbereiter Mann und er spricht sehr gut deutsch

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden

Mooie lodge en alles is aanwezig. Wij waren met twee volwassenen en twee kindjes van 1 en 3 jaar. Babystoel, kinderbordjes&bestek en een babybedje aanwezig. (2,5 euro per nacht.) Fijne bedden en hebben heerlijk geslapen. De ligging is ook super, 2 minuutjes lopen naar het zwembad, receptie en restaurant.

Netheid, fijn blokhut gevoel, en alle comfort is aanwezig.

We enjoyed our time in the lodge, the location is perfect for family with kids.

It would be nice to have an electrical socket in the bathroom

Alles brandschoon en oerdegelijk. Locatie echt ideaal; op een heel rustig stuk van het park, maar alles op loopafstand. Dus ontspannen en toch perfect voor de kids. Het mooie houten huis geeft je meteen een vakantiegevoel.

The apartment located in the middle of nowhere. It is far away from any infrastructure: shops, cafes, ATMs. I've been informed with apartment basic rules less than 24 hours before check-in. It has been mentioned that I have to leave deposit of 200 EUR in cash, so I had to organize cash withdrawal at the last moment. I've been told that host makes extra business with towel rental (there was no any kitchen/shower towels in chalet). In addition, I've been informed that heating will be limited with a room temperature up to 20 degrees at day and 17° at night. That was completely unacceptable for us and against of sanitary norms, but it was too late to cancel booking. I tried to negotiate and host agreed to raise a temperature for 5 EUR extra - nice business. Upon arrival I've been asked to come earlier than 19:00 because of personal issues of the host, otherwise I would not get a keys, but I was limited with arrival time of my flight and I had to rush upon arrival - not a great start of vacation. Last, but not least, I felt myself uncomfortable waiting for a host to check our apartment. He checked each single appliance and he tried to find a way to not give me back the deposit (e.g., stove cleanliness was my responsibility according to joining instructions). I've been treated like a friend that asked for a room, not like a client that paid more than average sum for the similar proposals on Booking.com in that area.

Sehr netter Vermieter war schnell zur Stelle als es ein Problem gab. War alles da was man braucht. Leute im Park sehr freundlich Kids Club, Schwimmbad, Pool, Mini Golf, Spielplatz Restaurant mit Kids Bereich Fahrrad Verleih. . Können es nur weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen wieder. WLAN super

Good value for money, modern, clean and comfortable lodges with spacious living and terrace. Quiet location on a nice and tidy holiday park. Friendly host Ron is available for help!

The floors would need some ‘final touch’ in the corners, with some covering of holes.

Prima vakantiehuis, hygiene was top. Ligging is prettig, vlakbij de receptie/zwembad/restaurant etc. Rustig park, genoeg te doen in de omgeving. We zijn er lekker tot rust gekomen en leuk dagje naar de apenheul geweest. (15 min. Rijden). Vriendelijke eigenaar die zichzelf nog even kwam voorstellen. Wat mij betreft een aanrader!

Her huisje is mooi en schoon,op een rustige plek!!.

Het waren warme dagen dus erg warm in het huisje. Ventilator of airco zal fijn zijn.

È una struttura molto ampia in legno con cucina, soggiorno, due camere da letto, bagno e terrazza, ben tenuta ed immersa nel verde circondata da altre strutture simili. Il lodge si trova all'interno di un parco dove c'è un ristorante, piscina coperta e esterna, bowling, mini golf, freccette, ping pong. È disponibile anche un servizio di lavanderia e SPA. Il parco è molto frequentato dagli olandesi per la particolare posizione. Servizio wifi eccellente. Ottima posizione per visitare Amsterdam ed altre località molto gettonate. È un posto tranquillo dove ci si può rilassare. Molto carina anche la vicina cittadina. Ron, il proprietario, è molto disponibile e ci tiene affinché l'ospite si trovi a suo agio. Amazing place to stay, 1 of 3 unique houses in this vacation park. My family loved it. Vacation Park itself has a great atmosphere lots to do onsite and around the area. Perfect for quality family time and relaxation, would love to come again!

Here’s the English translation of your text: ⸻ Very unpleasant experience at checkout – be careful! We stayed at this campsite and overall everything was going well—until it was time to check out. Upon arrival, we left a €200 deposit, which, as explained to us, would be refunded after the bungalow was inspected. We cleaned up after ourselves and left everything in good condition—we really value cleanliness and always try to leave things better than we found them. However, during checkout, the owner began meticulously looking for something to complain about. He inspected every corner and every speck of dust. Eventually, he “found” something—a small spot on a pillowcase. He made a dramatic scene, acting like it was a huge issue, and started scrubbing the pillowcase right in front of us, even though the stain was clearly easy to wash out. But he didn’t stop there. He noticed some kind of mark on the sink and indignantly claimed the sink was worth €500. We wiped it clean in five seconds, after which he reluctantly admitted it was “a good job.” Even though the pillowcase was completely cleanable, he still decided to withhold €50 from our deposit “for a damaged item.” This was absolutely unjustified. We want to warn future guests: there’s a high chance your deposit won’t be fully refunded, even if you leave everything in perfect condition. It feels like the owner deliberately looks for any excuse—real or imagined—to avoid returning the full amount. This kind of attitude towards guests is extremely disappointing. For the price charged for accommodation (including a cleaning fee), this kind of behavior is simply unacceptable. We left with a very bitter feeling. Think twice before booking this place.

The place is nice and clean. Peaceful neighborhood and beautiful surroundings. If you are a fan of nature, this is a must try on your next visit to the Netherlands. There are a lot of nearby places to see.

Very good cabin to stay with a group of friends or family. Has all the essentials you'll need to put a meal together. Lots of common area space to chill as well. Will be coming back and highly recommend for anyone thinking of booking it.

New facilities, pool forest and playgrounds close by for kids, reasonably situated in Veluwe.

Check in (host didn't follow his own information shared beforehand, meaning part of the party waited in front of a closed door) and deposit (he forgot to charge us beforehand, wanted to charge deposit when we were almost gone) were both handled poorly by the host, who seemed more interested in winning an argument than finding a solution. I don't think I've had this poor an experience with a host in my travelling life. New now, but all untreated wood, so will be rotting away in a year or 2. Bit expensive for what it is. The park is a chalet park, which is a vibe you may or may not go for. All in all, if host is okay and organised your experience may be fine.

We really liked our stay. Everything was clean and super new. We loved the fact it was entirely from wood and very comfortable, super well insulated and great location to plan trips!

It's a only a short walk from the Lodge to the main area - where you will find the swimming pools, play park, restaurant. Our two and a half year old managed this walk perfectly well. Plenty of space between the Lodges. The owner, Ron, was incredibly helpful.

Heavy rain kept us awake one night, as the felt roof on the Lodge made it very noisy. However, the owner is intending to create a 'green roof', which will resolve this issue.

The house is new and clean, and you can even smell the wood. It has an amazing terrace, perfect for a nice and cozy time

Host was very nice, helped me every time when I politely asked for something. Property is located in a very nice area, with a lot of nature in the surroundings, beautiful place for relaxation

Very clear, and well timed communication (e.g. Touristic information and kitchen inventory description were sent at relevant times), roomy wooden cabins (high ceiling is great!), modern kitchen which is equipped to do actual cooking, free swimming pool access, quiet location. Renting multiple cabins for small groups of family/friends is great as they are situated side by side.

As you approach the cabin you can smell the wood, and it’s so charming. The cab itself is a great size for 4 and we functioned perfectly during our stay. The owner is very engaging and was very helpful during our time, which made things easier if we had a question or needed some assistance.

Our kids weren’t keen on no TV, but for us, this made our holiday. We played games, talked and rode bikes. Despite their protests they had the best time.

Excellent location and very clean property. It was lovely to wake up to birds chirping . Ron was very friendly and gave us lots of information about the property and also things to do around it . Would highly recommend

Nothing really

The temperature/heating seemed to fluctuate a lot. If we didn't move and actuate a sensor, the heat would stop. So, it was often cooler than we wanted, with no way to adjust it.

Quite new property with everything you need. Quiet but safe, clean and good environment. You can park your car just next to the Lodge. Owner is very nice and helpful, willing to offer help and provide useful information.

Not much. Remember to bring a hair dryer if you have long hairs.

Very clean, beautiful walking routes, supermarket close. Wellness facilities, we didn’t use them but they were there. Host was really kind and helpful. He sent us all the practical information in advance.

The vacation house is brand new wooden house with very good kitchen equipment. There is a refrigerator and oven. We really liked the place close to the nature. There is a spacious park for kids to play very close to the vacation house. The outdoor pool was great and (still) open during our visit in late September. Free Car Parking is possible in front of the house. Owner is very responsive and helpful :)

No microwave in the property Indoor swimming pool was closed during our visit due to maintenance :( Wifi signal was quite weak. So don't plan to work while you are here :P

The house is completely new. It's cozy (all in wood) and is very charming. Completely equipped. Very quiet place in the nature. We loved and we will definitely return. The owner was very helpful and gave us several tips where to go with our children.
