Stunning views, indredibly spacious, great amenities, safe environment. We spent a full week there and every day as we were visiting the Cape area, we were always looking forward to coming back to the house in the evening!

a minor inconvenience if that when winds are strong, the windows vibrations are loud which can disturb your sleep. But the views are so much worth it!

There is nothing NOT to like! The pictures doesnt do any justice. The house was beautiful, amazing and what a perfect vacation place in Capetown. This is a place I would come back to next time Im back in Capetown! Thank you James and Lorraine for a wonderful stay.

C’est une maison absolument extraordinaire comme on en voit dans les films ! Nous avions les yeux écarquillés de tant de beauté à notre arrivée Elle est décorée avec beaucoup de goût Nous avons été accueillis par Lydia la gouvernante avec une coupe de pétillant et un feu dans la cheminée Sa présence très discrète et très efficace est un plus. Nous vous remercions de nous avoir permis de séjourner chez vous et espérons vivement avoir la possibilité de revenir un jour profiter de ce merveilleux endroit

The pictures don’t do the house any justice, the house is beautifully designed and uniquely decorated. I had a short but really amazing stay. Everything was smooth from check in , our stay the house help was always available for all our needs. Absolute value for money i will definitely go back again for a longer stay we truly loved it.

Es war ein hervorragender Aufenthalt in einem äußerst luxuriösen Haus mit beheiztem Pool und tollem Jacuzzi. Die Hausdame Lydia, die im Erdgeschoss des Hauses ein eigenes Zimmer bewohnt, ist hilfsbereit und freundlich, ohne dabei zu stören.

Ontbijt hebben we zelf geregeld keuken was uitstekenf voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt er zijn genoeg Supermarkten in de buurt maar ook genoeg restaurantjes met ontbijt mogelijkheden nabij

helemaal niets het huis was boven alle verwachtingen en zeker aan te bevelen was zeer positief voor een grote groep of groot gezin De familie kamer voor 4 personen was net helemaal nieuw gerenoveerd en de host vroeg ons om een beoordeling van deze kamer en onze feedback

The most stunning house we have ever stayed in. Right at the top of Houtbay. Perfect location and the house has everything you need for a great holiday. We all loved the pool and the adults the jacuzzi. Watched the most beautiful sunsets from the deck. Just perfect. Thank you so much.

Exceptional views over Hout Bay from both the pool area and upper garden terrace. Super spacious villa which was stunning with the centre stairs leading down from the bedrooms into the huge open plan living/dining areas with wall to wall glass to take in the stunning views.

Pepper House Villa is an outstanding choice for a big group or family gathering. The villa is spacious, beautifully laid out, and offers plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably while still enjoying time together. One of the absolute highlights is the breathtaking SUNSET view—it’s truly stunning and something you never get tired of, whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee or watching the sunset in the evening. The BBQ area is fantastic and perfect for group dinners, making our stay even more special with shared meals and great memories. Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. A special mention goes to the housekeeper Lydia, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, ensuring the villa stayed spotless throughout our stay and making us feel very welcome. Overall, Pepper House Villa is a perfect place for a large family or group looking for comfort, space, amazing views, and a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended—we would happily return! Замечательная вилла, очень чисто, красивый вид, есть все необходимое. Однозначно вернулись бы снова.

1.Первый день не смогли воспользоваться бассейном, т.к. он был грязный, его почистили только на следующий день. 2.Не предоставили порошок для стирки белья, сказали покупать самим. 3. Время выезда было обозначено в 10.00, но по факту персонал по уборке стал приходить в 8.00, так что бассейном и джакузи с утра мы уже не смогли воспользоваться.

Red Pepper House Villa is truly one of the best villas not only in the Hout Bay area but also among all the places I’ve stayed around the world. We were a team of 15, with 8 of us staying in the villa. If you’re looking for a high-quality stay for adults, I’d say the villa is perfectly suited for 8 adults. The ground-floor rooms are better suited for kids in my opinion. The owner was kind enough to allow 15 of us to spend time and enjoy the villa in the evenings, which we truly appreciated. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house is beautifully designed, with stunning architecture, a well-kept garden, and breathtaking views, it felt like a private retreat in nature. The villa is incredibly well-equipped. The pool, hot tub, backup solar and water systems, and thoughtful details throughout the home offered complete comfort and peace of mind. Having a dedicated housekeeper made a big difference in maintaining a smooth and pleasant stay. The parts of the Pepper House Villa I loved the most were the stone section and the wide open areas with large windows, perfect for relaxing, spending time with the group, playing games, and enjoying the view. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium group stay in Cape Town.

The only minor issue we encountered was with one of the bedroom doors, the wooden door of the room on the right on the 2nd floor had swollen and wouldn’t fully close, which caused a bit of discomfort for the guests in that room. It’s a small fix, and I hope the owner addresses it soon, as everything else about this house was absolutely exceptional.

Un énorme coup de cœur ❤️ Cette maison de Hout Bay est éblouissante ! Construite et décorée avec goût , elle offre une double vue mer/montagne assez unique qui a embelli chaque instant de notre séjour. Le jardin paysager aménagé à l’arrière est un havre de paix. Autre point fort : la discrète présence de l’adorable Lydia qui apporte son aide précieuse pour le quotidien. N’ayez aucune hésitation à louer , vous passerez un moment mémorable .

Un fort contraste entre les 3 chambres installées aux étages supérieurs, très douillettes et charmantes , et les 2 du rez-de-chaussée. Ces dernières sont à la fois plus sombres et donnent une vue sur le garage ou un muret . Forcément, les malchanceux qui y logent ne vivent pas la même expérience. Ce n’est pas rédhibitoire, toutefois.

The property displayed as advertised and the decor in the house came with thought.The location is private enough to not get traffic but high enough with panoramic views of the bay from a lot of the areas of the house.The house keeper lydia was fantastic in her knowledge and interaction.

One of the bedrooms only had a tub with a shower head, which it would be nice to have a shower in that bedroom.

What a stunning home! An incredible location with breathtaking views! The space was fabulous. So many areas to enjoy the view while feeling cozy and comfortable. So spacious and light, yet one could find wonderful nooks to relax and read a book or take in the beautiful surroundings. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the place was always spotlessly clean.

The cleaning system in the pool needs some kind of connection to the wall as with current solution it occupies 1/3 of the pool.

I loved everything, clean bedding, plenty of towels, plenty plates and glasses amazing place really....was blown away!

At first i didn't like that we did not have a TV in my bedroom but then I ended up appreciating it.

The facilities are well kept and seem updated recently. There’s ample space to not feel like you’re on top of each other even if there’s a lot of you. Overall, I really recommend this property. It’s got a lot to do in house and it’s also very easy to get Ubers and get around.

I think it would have been nice to have a guest bathroom in the main lounge area.

The location and view was absolutely amazing. The house was very spacious and most things were a quick inexpensive Uber ride away. Beautiful home!

There is not sufficient water for large groups, as there was often no water when going to take a shower. If you cannot shower when the washing machine is running, they should put that in that blue book with all the critical info. Also, if you know there are ten guests checking in why aren’t there ten face towels? We had 5 face towels for ten people. If the room fits 2, have 2 towels. The room with 4 beds should have had 4 towels. The housekeeper situation is interesting, there is definitely room for improvement.

Despite the last minute booking , the host perfectly enabled our stay which was spectacular to say the least . The breathtaking views ,the outdoor pool, walkways, photo spots were the first positive impressions but did not prepare us for the Beauty of the villa inside ! What tasteful style , decor , space and ambiance . Whatever you could ask for you would find and more . The amenities in the, bathrooms and the kitchen met and exceeded expectations. I liked that the rules and information file was detailed , has some dos and donts that were presented in a non threatening manner . The champagne offered upon check in was a wonderful gesture ! The villa gives a sense of safety with security features that give one assurance that all is done to make guests feel comfortable. TV entertainment choices made for a great relaxing time and the ample seating spots inside and outside were perfect for our pampering time !
