The location and the building was really good

Was not clean. So far and living area was dirty and felt yucky to sit on . Tea coffee items were not replaced, tea had fungus and cups were not clean. Kettle had old water from last visitor. Overall hygiene was not there. No tea coffee provided

The apartment is in the heart of Galle Fort, but the location is very quiet. You can overlook the court yard from your balcony.

Was not entirely clean, floors and the bathroom floors, behind the bin hadn't been cleaned at all and shower is stone, needs to be tiled, bath mat ended up very dirty as a consequence.

Although there was a gas hob the place is not really equipped for cooking. There wasn't even a toaster.

Great location shabby chique

Large hole to outside in bathroom area. Consequently lots of bugs in there. Also a massive cockroach seen on sofa. Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. Another review said it worked after a reboot, but that didn’t work for me.

Fantastic location and beautifully decorated. Full of character. Appreciated the fruit and beer. Loved it so much we extended our stay.

A beautifully decorated apartment with everything we needed for our stay. Centrally located in the old fort area and walking distance to many attractions. Evenings became quiet once the day to day activities had ceased - great location for people watching and enjoying the atmosphere.

Nicely designed and decorated with Galle & Colonial Era related objects. Included amenities for a comfortable stay.

A standalone villa, although relatively small, with complete facilities including plates, bowls, and cutlery. The living room upstairs is great, with a large painting depicting the past of Galle Castle. My last-minute itinerary change allowed me to quietly enjoy a short time in this cozy little apartment. Thank you to the landlord for your hard cooperation during check-in and check-out. I will come back again!

Well designed apartment. Very nice.

Bloody maintenance is poor. Latches that' are not aligned to work smoothly! Table lamps with loose connectors short circuiting ! A hobb that does not work. Cannot cook a meal on the hobb! A SMEC fridge that should be thrown out to garbage! It is not functioning! Photos create the impression that there is a large fridge in the apartment. What use is a non functioning fridge? Please Don't fool the guests! Fire the maintenance staff! Or you keep the maintenance staff and shoot yourself in the foot! Stupid Italians trying hard to make a buk with no management skills to manage Sri Lankan monkeys posing as maintenance staff!

Simply an all-round beautiful place to stay, quirky and interesting, very comfortable and beautifully styled. The hosts are amazing and genuine kind people that go above and beyond to make your stay special. Nothing is a problem. It was lovely to have a bit of space after travelling for an extended period.

Incredibile apartment right in the heart of the fort. The decor of the flat is very curated and impeccable, a good mix of modern and local.

A light scent of humidity by the bed area and the fact that by the entrance door is possible to peep in the bathroom. Loads of mosquitos during the night coming through the upper of the main entrance door.

Amazing location, on a beautiful square in central Galle. You can walk to everything but still very peaceful. The property itself is very beautiful and stylish (much more than the current photos show). Staying here really added to our stay, constantly reminded you are in Galle. Hosts’ have a number of local restaurants which are very good. They are also happy to make recommendations for other restaurants and anything else you need. Including places to swim. The apartment is serviced, housekeeping come daily at no extra cost. Mini bar well stocked. Fantastic stay!

Relatively new rental property, and they are still finding the right balance between style and practicality. However the host took any of our recommendations, all of which were relatively minor, and looked to implement them asap.

Great central location. Super host who was very helpful and charming. Theatrical decor with nicely fitted compact kitchen area on the mezzanine level.

I wish we had known that there is no window/natural ventilation or light in the bedroom which is on the ground floor. There are some damp issues in the property requiring attention.

The place was furnished with style and glamour in mind rather than practicality. This is totally fine for a short stay, but I guess if one stays longer than 3 nights it might start to make a difference.

The villa is located in a historical building, with classical interior and artwork, and is an amazing experience in itself. Quiet and safe place near courthouse and police station.

Tuktuk mafia - can't call Uber or Pickme to this area, need to walk to area outside the fort.

Amazing location and very lovely loft in the beautiful court square. One of the owners welcomed me and showed me the main attractions to visit in Galle Fort. The same owner has three restaurants that I visited… all great.
