Sockets in bedrooms v strange. In front downstairs bedroom, lamp beside bed with plug under locker. No wall plug to plug into. Only sockets on opposite wall, behind the door and one socket hidden by large wardrobe. Unusable. Upstairs bedroom, one lamp unusable, as no plug. Toaster v rusted, needs replacing. I wouldn't use it. Leak under sink had basin underneath, but cupboard had not been cleaned. V unsightly water stains on shelf

The kitchen was very dirty — the furniture and floors were sticky, and it was unpleasant to walk barefoot. The house was cold, the heating didn’t work in all areas, and one of the two showers was not working. Overall, the house is poorly maintained.

Kitchen facilities were poor, 1 bedroom heater did not work, 1 shower had a poor flow rate and did not stay warm for the duration of a shower. Wardrobe upstairs did not have handles they and their screws where lying on the base within the wardrobe.

we couldn't get any communication with the host through the details provided, so travelled without knowing how to get access, as someone was on maternity leave, but eventually succeeded, however it was a unwelcome level of stress at the start. A few more bits in the kitchen would have helped e.g. cooking oil, cleaning items etc. it was a bit sparce
