Si le paradis existe sur terre alors je l’ai trouvé à Dar Danse. Un havre de paix face à la mer. Juliana et Micky sont des hôtes incroyables et anticipent le moindre besoin.

Unbeschreiblich schön! Wirklich abseits von allem, an der wilden Atlantikküste gelegen, wird man hier rundum versorgt von den herzlichen Besitzern Julianna und Mike. Das Essen ist sensationell, frisch, kreativ und eine Mischung von lokaler und Europäische Küche. Die Zimmer sind individuell gestaltet, sauber und wunderschön.

Absolut nichts negativey aber Hinweise für neue Gäste - rechnet damit Abends im Hotel zu bleiben, da es wirklich abseits liegt. Ihr müsst kein Wasser mitbringen, das wird unbegrenzt bereitgestellt. Genießt die erholsame Auszeit!

Staff was exceptionnally nice and helpful. Food was great! Rooms very confortable! Great service and hammam/massage possible in the hotel!

We loved everything. There was a lot of wind, which made it hard to be outside, but this is nature, and has nothing to do with the hotel. We have heard that in summer, wind is actually great because it feels less hot. We were in March, so of course it was a bit cold. But we still enjoyed the sun!

The location - photos don't even do it justice with just how stunning it is. It is the ideal place to switch off from the world in utter luxury. The food was definitely another amazing surprise - absolutely delicious. Couldn't fault it!! Will definitely be back and be recommending it to others.

De locatie is afgelegen maar heel erg mooi. Het uitzicht is prachtig. Hamza was de perfecte gastheer die ons tot in de puntjes verzorgde. De tuin en en het zwembad zijn geweldig. Ook het uitzicht vanaf de suite met terras was mooi. Als je voor je rust komt zit je hier goed, want er is in de omgeving niets te doen. Je eet dus in het hotel. Het ontbijt en diner zijn redelijk.

Het interieur behoeft aandacht. Er is achterstallig onderhoud wat de eigenaar ook zelf aangeeft. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding kan beter. De toegangsweg is lastig te berijden maar te doen.

We had a perfect stay at the Dar Danse. The suite is very cosy and comfortable. Hamsa was a very kind host and prepared e.g. the Hamam for us. Khalid was our chef and we really enjoyed the food. Simohamed served our last breakfast. We definetely will come back.

Dieses ganz besondere kleine Hotel ist ein echtes grünes Paradies direkt am Meer. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wahnsinnig wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Ein traumhafter Garten, liebevoll eingerichtet, weitläufig und großzügig und gleichzeitig heimlich. Fast familiär. Das liegt unter anderem auch an der Hotelbesitzerin, die mit ihrer Fröhlichkeit und ihrer offenen Art alle Gäste willkommen heißt. Auch alle weiteren Mitarbeiter dort sind unglaublich freundlich. Wir hatten ein Zimmer für vier Personen mit Terrasse direkt zum Meer ausgerichtet. Und das Meer war immer präsent. Mit den Augen aber auch mit den Ohren. Es ist tatsächlich nicht ganz leise. Aber solange es das Meer ist das laut ist, kann man das ja ganz gut aushalten.😉 Die Betten waren ein bisschen hart. Und man sieht allen Möbeln und auch im Bad den Armaturen an, dass dieses Haus direkt der Atlantik Luft ausgesetzt ist. Hier ist nicht alles so richtig 100% perfekt. Aber gerade das macht es perfekt und besonders. Man spürt mit, wie viel Liebe dieses Hotel eingerichtet, ausgestattet und ausgedacht wurde. Wer also in einem Urlaub in Marokko ein Refugium sucht, wo man sich zu Hause fühlt und die Seele baumeln lassen kann. Der ist hier richtig. Und übrigens sind hier auch Kinder wirklich herzlich willkommen!

El lugar es fantástico. Es donde realmente te desconectas del mundo. El gerente de Dar Dance fue muy amable y atento, y el personal también fue muy servicial y simpático. Recomiendo este lugar sin duda.

Everything was wonderful. Julianna and her staff made our stay truly special. The hotel is located on a cliff right by the beach — at night you can hear the sound of the waves, which helps you relax and disconnect from everything. The food was absolutely delicious, varied, and offered a great selection of traditional Moroccan cuisine. Dinner was different every day. The rooms were charming and full of character, creating a truly authentic and cozy atmosphere. We visited in September, so the evenings were a bit cooler — during dinner they would light a fire in the fireplace, which made the experience even more pleasant and memorable. Additionally, the hotel offers various activities such as hammam, quad biking, or camel rides. It’s worth mentioning that the access road is gravel and a bit rocky. Julianna had informed us about this in advance and advised us to arrive before sunset, but due to a long journey, we couldn’t make it. She then kindly arranged for one of her staff members to wait for us by the main road so we could follow him and reach the hotel safely.Don’t worry though — the road isn’t difficult enough to require a 4x4 vehicle. Julianna was also incredibly helpful in recommending many wonderful places to visit during our day trip to Essaouira.

Wir haben zwei wunderbare erholsame Tage verbracht. Der Ort ist etwas ganz besonderes , man merkt, mit wieviel Liebe er errichtet worden ist . Alles ist im Einklang mit der Natur entstanden, und das ist genau das schöne . Die Zimmer sind im traditionellen marokkanischen Stil eingerichtet und es sind traditionelle Materialien verwendet worden. Ich finde es sehr schade, wenn ich negative Kommentare lese, die z.b über nicht warmes Wasser berichten. Das kann vielleicht vorkommen, weil das Warmwasser nur über Solarenergie kommt , aber so etwas sollte man in Kauf nehmen, wenn man an einem so schönen Ort sein kann. Wir hatten übrigens immer warmes Wasser !! Wer hier etwas zu meckern hat sollte besser in einem Standardhotel in Agadir bleiben . Auch das Abendessen war toll, der Kamin war an und es war urgemütlich. Wir kommen wieder .

Wer auf der Suche ist nach einem authentisch marokkanischen Hotel mit bisschen Luxus ist hier richtig! Wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt und uns wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Lage ist unglaublich schön, ruhig, direkt am Meer und nicht weit weg von einem kleinen Fischerdorf.

Leider war das Wasser in der Dusche kalt, wobei uns das nicht gestört hat, da es sehr warm war. Der Preis für die Zimmer fanden wir etwas hoch für das was es zu bieten hat. Denn im Zimmerpreis ist das Essen nicht inkludiert.

From the very first moments and the warm welcome, we felt completely at home. The superior suite with beautiful sea view is truly impressive – the interiors have style, character and soul, making it easy to feel relaxed and comfortable. It’s the perfect place to pause, recharge, and escape the rush of everyday life – the location, “in the middle of nowhere,” offers peace, quiet and true rest. What makes this place even more special is the genuine hospitality. The staff’s care is exceptional – their warmth and kindness create a family-like atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re visiting close friends. The cuisine is another reason to come back. At first glance, the portions may not seem large, but they are beautifully presented, delicious, healthy and perfectly balanced – every meal is satisfying. This is without a doubt one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and truly special retreat.

The beach nearby is stunning, but due to strong waves and intense tides (at least during the time of our stay), it was not suitable for swimming.

Ce qui est le plus fabuleux dans cet endroit c’est le sentiment de bout du monde . À marée basse des kilomètres de plage vierge s’offrent à nous . L’accueil de Julianna ( multilingue ) italienne est topissime que ce soit avant pendant ou après le séjour . Elle est aux petits soins pour tous et le sourire H24 , tard le soir mais aussi aux aurores pour les départs très tôt comme le nôtre à 5.00 . Les repas sont très copieux et très bons , un jour continental un jour local … pour tous les goûts et les petits dej sont très copieux aussi très bons et tout est artisanal même le nutella et l’amlou

Honnêtement ? Rien . Il faut aimé les bouts du monde et les sentiments d’exclusivité car il y a pas grand chose autour mais la nature est ici reine .

Nous recommandons fortement ! Séjour exceptionnel dans cet établissement. Excellent accueil, chambres confortables, restauration savoureuse et installations impeccables avec vue sur l'océan. La gentillesse du personnel qui est au petit soin avec nous. La côte sauvage avec des roches et dunes de sable qui plongent dans l'ocean est tout a fait propice pour se promener.

L'accès est un peu délicat (piste) mais c'est bien pour création une isolation du monde et profiter du calme des vagues

Der Meerblick und der Pool

Wir können das Dar Danse nicht weiterempfehlen und sind über die positiven Bewertungen mehr als überrascht, da das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut nicht stimmt. Wir haben für die Superior Suite mit Meerblick für 5 Nächte OHNE VERPFLEGUNG mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern 1.300 Euro bezahlt. Frühstück kostet pro Person 10 Euro und Halbpension 35 Euro pro Person extra. Zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag dasselbe und kaum Auswahl (1 Pfannkuchen, Brot, 1 Ei, Marmelade, Nutella, Honig und Erdnussbutter). Das Abendessen war auch nichts Besonderes und häufig trocken sowie ungewürzt. Da es weit und breit nichts anderes gibt, ist man gezwungen, im Hotel zu essen. Am meisten haben uns jedoch die Unsauberkeit, das schreckliche Badezimmer und der vorherrschende Renovierungsstau gestört. Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir bereits beide Toiletten sehr schmutzig vorgefunden und beanstandet. Leider sahen sie auch nach der Reinigung nicht viel besser aus (siehe Fotos). Das Bad war schmutzig, eng und dunkel, auch hier Renovierungsstau und SCHIMMEL in der Dusche (siehe Fotos). Das Wasser in der Dusche war häufig kalt. Der Handtuchwechsel erfolgte erst nach drei Nächten auf Nachfrage. Richtig gereinigt wurde das Zimmer während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts nicht (und auch davor offensichtlich nur grob). Die Einrichtung der Superior Suite ist völlig veraltet und teilweise morsch (zwei wackelige Strandstühle auf der Terrasse usw.). Das Kinderzimmer war ebenfalls alt und dunkel. Es gibt keinen direkten Zugang zum Strand aufgrund der Felsen. Die Preise dieses Hotels sind überteuert und stehen nicht im Verhältnis zu dem, was man bekommt. Die hygienischen Zustände vor allem im Bad gehen gar nicht! Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder!

L’accueil est extrêmement chaleureux et le personnel, aux petits soins, d’une grande gentillesse. Les repas - petits déjeuners, dîner - étaient vraiment délicieux! Le cadre est magnifique, agrémenté d’une très belle piscine.

Les matelas des lits d’appoints étaient un peu durs. Pour information, l’hôtel est éloigné de tout.

Julianna and Mike have created a wonderful place here on the Atlantic coast. As soon as you arrive, you feel relaxed and get that special “favorite place” feeling. You’re not treated like a guest here – you immediately feel like part of the family and among friends. Julianna and the entire team are very warm, welcoming, and take loving care of every guest. It‘s like being with good friends here in a wonderful paradise! In all our travels around the world, we’ve never been to a place where we decided right away that we’d definitely come back. The house and garden are stunning and full of lovingly crafted details. There’s a wonderful scent of oriental incense in the air! The service is top-notch, and the food is delicious every single day, and you can feel the love and attention to detail everywhere! They are truly committed to people, the environment, and animals here – many of whom you’ll meet and fall in love with! Everything was wonderful!

Dar Danse is a magical retreat in a wonderfully secluded location. The views of the Atlantic from our room were breathtaking, and the access to the sea combined with the stunning pool made it feel like paradise. Dinners were served as a lovingly prepared menu, tailored to our dietary preferences – absolutely delicious every night. What truly sets this place apart is the personal, heartfelt service: from the staff remembering our favorite drinks to the owner herself cheering us on during evening chess games – every detail made us feel genuinely cared for. We loved it so much that we extended our stay to enjoy it even longer. We’ll definitely be back – for another round of chess and fresh pineapple juice!

Such an amazing spot right on the beach. The host was super friendly and shared great stories about the place and the adorable animals there. My girlfriend and I are vegan/vegetarian, and they made the best food we had in our whole trip. The room was clean, comfy, and nicely decorated. We even asked to stay a bit longer to walk the dogs on the beach no problem at all. Just a dream location. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We had a fantastic stay at Dar Danse staying in the Room called L’Artiste. Warmest welcome and hospitality throughout our stay from the team. The actual location and Hotel is top, a stones throw from the ocean. Quiet luxury. The way the hotel is layed out makes It is possible to be private as well as being able to meet some other guests at dinner without things feeling forced. Great home cooked breakfast and dinner.(a deal maker/breaker for us). Fire was lit for dinner. We were inspired by the interior of the whole place with beautifully finished Tadelak bathrooms, tiled floors, hand crafted wooden details. There is a focus on animal welfare and we were offered a nice dog called Luca to take for a walk which was great. We had a Hamman and Massage which was also very welcome. Next time if the surf was better I would take definitely rent a board from Dar Danse.

the most perfect getaway, full of charm and character! provides such a stunning place to have the most relaxing, calm holiday, absolutely perfect to unplug from technology (wifi in the main living room/eating area and none in the rooms, no TV in the rooms) which exactly what we were after! We were greeted by staff as soon as we parked, who kindly took our luggage and made us moroccan tea on arrival. The stunning building looks out onto the ocean, giving you lovely views wherever you are on the property. We loved the architecture of the place. The facilities are stellar, their pool is gorgeous, gardens are immaculately maintained, rooms are incredibly clean and beautifully decorated, their rescued animals (donkeys, cats, dogs etc) are always around to go and say hello to (and you’ll often have a cat come to play with you at breakfast!) The beds are huge, fresh water and towels left in your room daily. Julie and her team have done a fantastic job of re opening the hotel, providing excellent service, organising anything you need (activities, recommendations in the nearby town, anything you need can be sorted) she kindly organised quad bikes and a beach horse ride for us, as well as feeding us the most delicious three course dinners, and an amazing breakfast spread every morning. They also have a lunch menu depending on how many meals you want at the hotel, at very reasonable prices (€9 for a burger and fries for example) When we wanted to venture into Essaouria (45 min drive away) Julie and her team provided excellent recommendations for food and drinks which did not disappoint! They also offered to sort transport for us if we weren’t up for driving. We were truly looked after all the time. donations: They also have a relationship with a local orphanage that they bring donations to, if you have any unneeded baby/children’s clothes or toys. We couldn’t recommend this beautiful corner of Morocco more, it’s truly a magical place to stay and relax!

Our stay at Dar Danse Hotel was an absolute gem and a highlight of our trip to Morocco. From the very first moment, we felt not only warmly welcomed but truly treated like family members. As a small family traveling with our daughter, we were delighted by how caring and attentive the entire team was. The location of Dar Danse Hotel is simply magical – set directly by the sea, far from the crowds, making it the ideal place to unwind and recharge. Despite its secluded location, we were never bored. We spent our days by the breathtaking pool overlooking the ocean, exploring the beautifully maintained gardens, or strolling along the stunning beach just beyond the entrance gate. A special highlight for our daughter was the lovely animals on the property, especially the friendly dogs, with whom she spent countless happy hours playing in the garden. And the food – simply fantastic! Each day, we were treated to fresh, regional delights prepared with so much love, constantly surprising and delighting us. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the wonderful team whose warmth and friendliness made our stay truly unforgettable. Location was perfect with beautiful property and amazing view. Staff were very friendly and we felt very much welcomed and at home. It was the perfect getaway for a week of just relaxing and being tots a family.

The hotel is by the sea with almost nothing around. Very quiet and relaxing environment with only handful of rooms. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Food was delicious. Dinner is a 3 course menu which changes everyday.

Dar Danse is a beautiful and special place. We wanted a spot to switch off and relax for a few days, and this was perfect. Julianna, Mike, and their team made us feel at home right away and really took care of us. We loved the personal touch in everything. The food was delicious and always freshly made with local ingredients. Our room and the terrace were highlights—getting sun all day, perfect for yoga with an ocean view, reading, and enjoying Moroccan coffee. We also booked a Hammam and massage, which were so relaxing. We can’t recommend Dar Danse enough and hope to be back very soon!

The WiFi connection only worked in the main salon, which is something they are already working on to improve. However this didn’t really bother us as our main goal was to disconnect for a while. They always try their best to make everything possible though :)

This magic is created by the location of the hotel, its atmospheric decor, delicious food, the wonderful energy of its caretaker - Julianna (a beautiful soul...) but above all the mission and idea that guides it. Julianna has a big heart and runs a sanctuary for dogs and three donkeys and a horse next to the hotel. Walking with the dogs gave us a lot of joy and that soothing feeling that you can do something good during your stay. I have traveled half the world, but I have never visited a place run in such balance and Love for people, animals, nature... No words can describe this experience. You have to feel it! I recommend it with all my heart ♥️ And if you are passionate about horse riding, do not hesitate for a moment. Julianna organized for me a "gallop of a lifetime" at sunset on a 20 km spectacular beach, 10 minutes from the hotel by car. Wonderful, beautiful, well-groomed horses, both physically and emotionally (which is rare in commercial studs in Arab countries). The man who trains them is a true virtuoso and passionist. We had a really memorable two-night stay at Dar Danse, and we cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Julie’s warm and accommodating nature made us feel completely at home. Amin was incredible with our son, going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and cared for. The massage and hammam experience were a nice touch. The team even thoughtfully scheduled it so I could enjoy the sunset with my family in between treatments! When our son got tired before dinner arrived, the staff graciously brought the meal to our room without hesitation. Their kindness and attentiveness were deeply appreciated. Dar Danse is stunning. The property itself is filled with charm, from the inviting smell of incense throughout to the cozy fire indoors (a lovely touch in January) and the fire pits outside that create a magical atmosphere in the evenings. The quiet beaches are literally just a stone’s throw away at the end of the lovely gardens. Animal lovers will be happy here with donkeys, a horse, many dogs (which you are encouraged to take for a walk). Also Chameleons and Mr CousCous the cat! If you can, we highly recommend booking the big rooftop room. The 360-degree panoramic views are simply breathtaking, and waking up to that scenery from bed was a dream. The food was exceptional and fussy kids can be well accommodated. Every meal felt like a treat. Dar Danse is a truly special place, and we left feeling really nourished. Dar Danse is a magical hidden gem that exceeded all our expectations! Traveling with two small children, we were thrilled by the spacious grounds that gave them plenty of room to play and the stunningly large pool, which quickly became a family favorite. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality from Juliana and her wonderful team. They went above and beyond, preparing delicious meals and even accommodating our request for fresh fish from the local market, which they turned into a fantastic BBQ by the pool. One of the highlights of our trip was the horseback riding at sunset, organized by the hotel—a breathtaking experience we’ll never forget. They also showed us their heartwarming donkey and dog shelter, which was such a meaningful and unique touch. Breakfast each morning was another highlight, with freshly cut fruits, omelets, pancakes, and fresh juice that were as delicious as they were beautifully presented. Dar Danse is perfect for families, offering relaxation, adventure, and a personal touch that makes you feel at home. We can’t wait to return!

We had the most wonderful, tranquil experience at Dar Danse! The hotel is located absolutely beautifully at the beach, very calm and private. The beach is stunning! All of the staff is super friendly and welcoming, it felt warm and familial. We also loved their efforts and devotion to caring for their rescued animals! You could tell how loved they are! Our stay really felt like stepping out of our usual hectic world. We will definitely come back!

This is a secluded gem, far from the madding crowd. It is a magical spot with panoramic views of the ocean. You truly feel in your own bubble. The owners and their team went out of their way to ensure we a restful and wonderful stay. The home cooked meals and traditional mint tea were absolutely delicious :)

Absolutely everything about this magical place is perfect - food, rooms, location, incredible pool, lovely people. It's like they've taken all of my favourite things and made a place out of them all. It wouldn't be fair to call this a hotel because it's so much more than that. It's the place you wish you could call home, if only you were lucky enough. But for a few short days, they make you feel like it could be ❤️

This “bubble” was the perfect place to come and disconnect from everything. The place is magical, and the scenery is truly beautiful. There is not much around the hotel, which gives it its privacy, whilst the staff proposes a multitude of activities in case we get bored. The sunset view while dining is a magical experience, and the food is AMAZING. The staff is also very welcoming and always there if you need anything, you really feel at home. We really hope we can come back one day!

I would hire them all and think they all should get a promotion;-) Also the location of Dar Danse is incredible! You get kilometers of beach to yourself! It’s fascinating! Even the place is not taken care of (by the owner) it’s a very special experience I don’t wanna miss.

The place used to be a really great hotel! But it looks like there is no maintenance over the last few years… the wood is all damaged, the iron rusty and the boutique has clothes from literally 10 years ago all damaged and dusty! not exaggerating! It’s impossible for the staff to take care of all the damage, which is truely sad! In a few years it will become a ghost hotel if nobody invests some money! Someone should save that incredible place soon! Meanwhile prices shouldn’t be that high for what You get in the end. One feels a bit exploited..

In need of updating. Certainly not 4 star. Beds unbelievably hard and furnishings worn. All generally a bit faded. No hot water to shower the whole time we were there. Probably part of its rustic charm to an extent but too rustic for us

Location front of the sea, Abdul the manager and the team are amazing, food is perfect.

Relaxing place with such a laid back vibe. The food was the best we had in Morocco, definetely worth getting the lunch as well. many thanks to the wonderful staff for making our stay amazing! We’ve also appreciated the care towards the animals in the sanctuary, we’ve spent more time than anticipated petting donkeys :)

Just a bit more wifi coverage would help, at least at the pool area.

Very beautiful view in the lonely place. We were just alone in the hotel and enjoyed the silence The food in very nice. From our trip in Morocco the best cousins. Also very pleasant owner. Nice place to spent time alone on the ocean. the beach also is wonderful. Recommend for sure

The water was salt in the shower

The staff was amazing especially abdou and Abdelghni, food was soooo tasty, room amazing, view breathtaking. we have so many beautiful memories to keep and location is just wawwwwww if you like to feel in the middle of nowhere which was our case. I really highly recommend !

The people working at the hotel were extremely nice. Abdul roumy and the wonderful cook. The food was excellent and they where always looking forward to help.

The owners have not been there for a very long time and one could see that the installations where missing a but of maintenance. The rooms where not cleaned during the stay. They where clean at arrival but I would have liked to have my bed made and WC cleaned during my stay.
