O imóvel foi renovado recentemente, estava impecável, equipado com o essencial. Tem uma vista para o mar excelente, adorei adormecer com o som do mar como fundo e a algazarra dos cagarros. Na zona tem uma padaria/pastelaria "as delicias da maria", com grande variedade de pão e bolos e um queijo fresco divinal. A piscina natural de São Caetano é optima, podem fazer snorkeling e canoagem nessa zona.

Proprietário muito amável. Boa localização. Casa confortável e limpa, com tudo o que é necessário. Vista muito bonita.

Nada a assinalar, tudo óptimo para nós. Para quem tenha dificuldade em dormir com luz, é aconselhável levar uma venda. A casa não tem estores, tal como a maioria das casas que vimos na ilha.

Eine schöne große sehr gut ausgestattete und mit Geschmack dekorierte Wohnung mit Blick auf Pico (wenn kein Nebel da ist) und das Meer - wir haben uns hier selbst an den etwas unfreundlichen Tagen unseres Aufenthalts wohl gefühlt und über das Willkommensgeschenk des Gastgebers gefreut. Für unsere Kinder wurden zwei getrennte Zimmer vorbereitet, herzlichen Dank! Sehr ruhig und erholsam!

Läget i backen är perfekt, lugnt och skönt.

Varmvatten utan blandnings ventil, gör det svårt att ställa in i duschen.

Es war sehr süß osterlich dekoriert! Es gab Waschpulver für die Waschmaschine und auch Duschgel, Shampoo und eine Ersatzzahnbürste. Der Kontakt mit José war superfreundlich und herzlich!

We were here over Christmas and although we were quite unlucky with the weather, this house was a cozy haven for us. Nice location, fragrant towels, cleanliness, comfortable beds.... Oh my! The owner prepared a Christmas tree, decorations, rosemary in a vase and as a surprise gifts for us! I was really touched. Moreover, the communication was without problems and nice . Such hospitality!

2 bedrooms with queen sized beds and a smaller guest room with single bed provided ample space for us 3 (looks like it can fit up to 5 people). The beds and rooms were spacious , living room, dining room and kitchen were good sized. The house may look old from the outside but inside is newly renovated with everything we needed. Washing machine, clothes drying rack indoors and clothes line outside with pegs. We were very comfortable and loved the place! Neighbour was also very helpful to check us in.

A 20 minuti da Madalena ma avendo l'automobile è comodo per visitare tutta l'isola. Casa pulita, spaziosa e ben attrezzata, parcheggio privato, internet e smart tv, lavatrice. Molto carino il giardino con i bellissimi girasoli.

Sarebbe comodo se ci fosse la lavastoviglie

La vue sur la mer, la terrasse, le logement spacieux et fonctionnel, la réactivité de l'hôte, la présence d'une voisine aidante. La localisatiin permettant de circuler aisement dans toute l'ile.

You'll absolutely love where you're staying! It's an extraordinary place, right at the foot of the magnificent Mount Pico. You'll be absolutely thrilled with everything it has to offer, and it's the perfect base for exploring the island.

De locatie was geweldig! Op een rustige plek gelegen, met uitzicht over de oceaan. Het huis is ruim. Er waren ruim voldoende handdoeken aanwezig. De keuken leek eenvoudig, maar was volledig uitgerust naar wat wij nodig hebben.

Alles was prima! Wat wij onhandig vonden was dat het koffieapparaat alleen cups van Pinge Doce kon hebben. Dat wisten we van tevoren niet en we stonden dus net niet in die winkel, maar in een andere.

Alles war einfach perfekt: eine herzliche Begrüßung bei Schlüsselübergabe, die große Ferienwohnung mit allem ausgestattet, was man für seinen Aufenthalt benötigt: (Grundausstattung wie Salz, Öl, war vorhanden, Kaffee gab es zur Begrüßung), Waschmaschine, Bügelbrett, Bügeleisen, Luftentfeuchter, Backofen- alles da. Und wenn etwas gefehlt hätte, wir hätten nur fragen brauchen. Das liebevoll eingerichtete Haus ist wie ein Spiegel der Liebenswürdigkeit des Besitzers José und der Co-Gastgeberin Maria: wunderbare Menschen = wunderbares Haus. Die Aussicht in alle Richtungen ist spektakulär (unbedingt Fernglas einpacken). Um Pico zu erkunden bietet sich Sao Caetano aufgrund der zentralen Lage wirklich gut an, man ist eigentlich in 30 Min überall (max 45 Minuten haben wir für den längsten Anfahrtsweg benötigt), der Ort selbst ist sehr ruhig, aber es gibt eine hervorragende Bäckerei und 2 Restaurants am kleinen Hafen (da empfehle ich das Onda, eine sehr gute Snackbar). Kleiner Tipp noch: der Supermarkt Pingo Doce in Madalena (20 Min Fahrt) hat eine Frischetheke mit einheimischen Gerichten, wirklich sehr lecker, haben dort mehrfach etwas mitgenommen und in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt. Wir können das Haus von ganzem Herzen empfehlen und wenn wir nach Pico zurückkehren, so hoffe ich, das Haus ist frei und wir können es erneut buchen. Danke José und Maria für die herrliche Zeit!

Nice holiday home in a quite area with good parking and external space including banana trees in the garden and fresh herbs.

High level of humidity during our stay as it rained a lot but there was a dehumidifier which helped to keep the place comfortable.

Great and spacious house with a needed equipment. Great place if good weather. Walking distance to the ocean.

Pretty cold inside - no effective heaters

Mooi, schoon, ruim. Goede bedden, mooie locatie. Let op, wanneer je geen vervoer hebt is het best een eindje vanaf de veerboot. Je kan dan het beste een taxi regelen of een auto of scooter huren.

Everything was perfect: very kind, polite and friendly host, big and clean apartment with everything you need and nice views We had a great time there. Thank you very much.

La maison des tournesols est un endroit absolument magnifique. Situé au pied du mont Pico, avec vue sur la mer, le terrain est rempli d'arbres fruitiers desquels on peut se servir. Les voisins sont adorables et très accueillants. La maison en soi est très spacieuse et confortable. Vraiment, un petit coin de paradis!

Well equipped cottage in a beautiful location. The neighbor who helped us get checked in was very kind and helpful. The owner was very responsive on text.

The Azores are humid and the house did need an airing out. Slight smell nothing horrible houses need air circulation! A dehumidifier is available and we ran it the entire stay. It’s something to be aware of not a criticism

Eget hushåll, var ut och åt lunch ett antal gånger, det mesta av maten gjorde vi. Nära till matbutik.

Vi kom när utetemperaturen låg på 12-14 grader, hade inte gjort något om det var varmare i huset, samma som ute, men vi fick hjälp med ett extra element.

Mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Very easy - there was a lock box, but Maria actually came out to help advise us on parking behind the house and welcome us.

Gostamos muito de estar na casa do Girassol, casa muito acolhedora, limpa e com todos os essenciais. Zona muito calma, com vista para o mar. O senhor José foi muito atencioso. Claramente, um dia voltaremos. Obrigada.

L emplacement est parfait pour aller faire l ascension du Pico. La terrasse vue sur l océan, les jolies fleurs, la vue incroyable derrière la maison sur la beauté du Pico et l accueil très chaleureux par la voisine du propriétaire. La famille de chats des voisins avec leur chaton qui nous ont accueillis le premier jour. C'est très très propre, grand. Salle de bain fonctionnelle. La maison est exemplaire sur le tri, comme presque toutes les locations des azores, la France devrait prendre exemple. Le propriétaire très sympathique et gentil. C'est vraiment super de pouvoir se garer derrière la maison.

Tout est magnifique. Extrêmement propre. Le propriétaire très attentionné dans ses messages et nous nous sommes sentis vraiment très bien. Mais puisque cette section contribue à encore plus d améliorations nous sommes d accord avec mon mari et mon fils pour dire que la cuisine devrait être réaménagée car il n'y a pas d espace pour cuisiner ( on s est debrouilles). Pourtant la cuisine offre un potentiel certain pour repenser son organisation. Aussi la vaisselle est vieille et très sommaire ( pas de bols, deux vieilles tasses , petits verres..). Il n'y a pas de passoire. Par contre nous avons été surpris par les cadeaux de bienvenue sommaires : des biscuits et une bouteille d eau, nous avons été si gâtés dans toutes les autres locations à Pico, Flores et Corvo...

A casa é muito simpática, confortável e está bem equipada. O seu ponto forte é mesmo a vista para o mar. O anfitrião mostrou-se sempre disponível para esclarecer yodas as questões.

Great comms with the host Spacious and luminous apartment with great view

Le charme d'un endroit très accueillant où l'on sent que le propriétaire a le soucis d'offrir le meilleur service. C'est très confortable, très propre, très agréable. Nous nous y sommes sentis très bien.

The house was sparkling clean and well equipped with everything we could ask for. The location is optimal with a fantastic view of the ocean on one side and the mountain on the other. The host took great care to accommodate our toddler and provided toys, books, a cot and a bed safety. We felt very welcome and well taken care of here.

É a segunda vez que fico na Sunflower Guest House - Pico e continua a não desiludir! Apesar da simplicidade, tudo foi pensado para que se tenha uma ótima estadia: a limpeza, o bom gosto, a vista para o mar e para a montanha, o custo-benefício, mas, acima de tudo, a simpatia e a amabilidade do anfitrião José Carlos. Recomendo vivamente e voltarei, em breve!
