Spacious and clean room, kind owner , beautiful stairs, quiet neighborhood There is no restaurant nearby, so if you ask the owner, they will make it for you。The room has a kettle of boiling water, coffee and tea, and water.The owner will treat you as if you were at home in a circle。 I've traveled around India and it's one of the best accommodations ever. I'd recommend it.nice house

Es war leider sehr laut im Gebäude daneben. Auch spät abends und morgens früh. Leider war die Matratze wie Beton, sehr hart. WiFi funktioniert nur an der Zimmertür. Unser Fahrer durfte dort leider nicht mal die Toilette nutzen.

I really enjoyed my stay at Shresth homestay. Mr Naresh is a welcoming and spiritual host. This was perfect as i was travelling on pilgrimage and the house, for me, was perfect to tie in with the devotional energy around the area of Kankhal, the many ashrams in the locality and the Ganges. Naresh was exceptionally kind in escorting myself and another guest to a Puja with his Guru during Mahashivatri and also explaining some spiritual customs. He was also very kind when i was ill one day and i'm very grateful, especially because i was a solo traveller. The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Internet works well and there are also balconies to sit on. There are also other spaces available for guests to eat, sit etc. The overall energy is the house is peaceful which is so wonderful when travelling as it creates a serene and mindful environment. If/when i return to the area i will definitely return and Mr Naresh and his family and staff really make guests feel at home. Also, i share deep appreciation to Nareshji who maintains devotion to his spiritual practice and his guests non-stop. This is inspiring and an inspiration regarding devotional service. Deep gratitude!

The area isnt very close to cooked food outlets, but there are delivery options, and occasionally there may be food available at Shresth. However, if you are very fixed about food needs you probably need to factor that into your stay. There are also grocery delivery options available and nearby there are plenty of fruit stands and small grocery shops.

Naresh is a very friendly and empathetic host. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, comfortable and roomy. The homestay is in a very quiet location and there is a peaceful atmosphere in and around the house. The food is very good and reasonably priced.

We liked the gracious host and the location close to the Ganges. There was a beautiful small temple close by where various pujas were conducted from early morning . The host provided us with a lovely meal on the second night.

The location was further away from the main arati in town than we thought. Because of this and the traffic conditions we didn't attend. There was no choice of restaurants close by.

comfort and warm welcome, excellent location, as the Shiva Temple is 40 meters away, there is also a ghat, that is, an approach to the Holy River Ganges, where you can take a bath.

A beautiful family within a beautiful home. It was by far one of the most homely stays I've had during my travels within India, so much so that I decided to return a week later on my own. Naresh bhaiya and Nidhi are such a nice couple, as is their son, Shreshth and Ashish, who works there. They all made me feel so welcome and went out of their way to help me with transport or other information I needed during my stay there. Thank you for making my stay a memorable one 💜

The rooms are spacious and cleanliness is been taken care of very well. There are few good temples around the area. The owner of the property has a lovely family who constantly try to make you feel comfortable in their homestay. Its like a home away from home. Its located in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of Haridwar.

The rooms and bathroom were clean it was a nice place, room was nice and big enough, room heater was provided coz of cold.

There were no toiletries in bathroom.

Spacious, neat and clean. You can take bath in Ganga near Ganga ghat just 100 meters away from the house. Naresh Ji(Owner) truly follow the dharma of Bharat 'Atithi Devo Bhavo'. He is always there to support you. He will take extra steps to make your stay memorable.

Many Restaurants options are there within 1 KM's reach but Naresh ji was kind to take us on their bike to parcel it. 20 minutes far from har ki Pauri.

The room was very comfortable and extremely clean particularly for the price. There was plenty of hot water and Naresh provided free fruit and tea. He was also very helpful and kind and has a very nice manner.

It is a long way from the major sights but you can get a tuk tuk to all of the places of interest including the town centre for 100rs. The only other thing we would say is that it is aimed more at the traveller who is looking for a spiritual experience than general travellers (Naresh is a very kind and spiritual man).

Location excellent, close to attend the Ganga Aarti. It was extremely disappointing we only had a 1 night stay...but it was exceptional. A raving review cannot begin to describe how wonderful my experience has been staying with Nidhi, Naresh and their son Shreshth. This was not simply holiday accommodation, but an opportunity to experience a loving home away from home. I am an elder solo travelling woman, in my 5th & final week journeying throughout India, and dare I say, I was feeling more than a little tired and weary when I arrived at their door. This beautiful family welcomed me as if I was a beloved grandmother, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was everything it could be. All of their kindnesses are far too numerous to list… let it suffice to say their generosity knew no bounds. Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the depth of my heart to my ‘Indian family’… I will return ❤️

The property was very clean and neat. Hot water, water cooker and some snacks were also available. The owner for some generous amount even offered a pickup from the railway station and dropped me off at the wellness around 20 km away. The owners speak good english and they were very helpful and caring. They offered some food, tea and coffee. Moreover, showed me around and took me to see the Ganga Aarti and fell a part of it. I would definitely would had liked to stay longer at their lovely home.

Feel like home 😍, not hotel. Even the food was so tasty. Bedrooms look like 4/5 star hotel’s bedroom.

This was the best homestay I have ever stayed at. From the first till the last moment, Naresh and his wife did everything in their power to make my stay as pleasant as possible and their energy was pure love and kindness. They served me tea, juices, fruits, breakfast and lunch without any additional charge and with big smiles, I tried to pay for it but they said I was like their family member and refused. They helped me to get a Rickshaw when needed and Naresh even gave me his shoes when I went on an evening walk. Whatever was within their range of possibilities, they would do without a heartbeat. Naresh even offered me to show me around the area on his motorbike and invited me to make an offering on the bank of the ganges together with him. I didn’t have time to do all he offered but I would have loved to! He even gave me some traditional Indian clothing so I would blend in when going to the evening aarti at the ashram!! In the evenings we talked about each other countries and they gave me Hindi classes and telling me about local customs. I greatly enjoyed their presence. It was like talking to my own family members at home. I feel this was the perfect homestay, an exchange of cultures and kindness towards each other. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony. The bed was comfortable and there was hot water for the shower. The house itself is beautiful and only built in 2019. It was wonderful to stay at.

Only no wi-fi at the time but Naresh said that it will be fixed. At 6:00 AM the ashram next door started playing loud mantra’s for 30 minutes. After that I fell back asleep.
