Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Beautiful property, short walk from La Playita, the best beach in town, where there are two excellent restaurants. Friendly welcome and good parking.
A little expensive, and they accept only cash, a problem since ATMs in the Dominican Republic, and particularly in Las Galeras, are mostly a disaster, out of order, very low withdrawal amounts, or outrageous fees.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026Es war ALLES perfekt! Wir haben hier 9 Tage verbracht. Wunderschöne, sehr gepflegte (!) kleine Anlage. Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Ausgesprochen schöne 150qm große, saubere Wohnung. Großer Sonnen Balkon. Alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ein sehr schöner Strand fußläufig erreichbar. Unbedingt am Strand einmal Fisch vom offenen Grill essen! Wir hatten das Vergnügen den Besitzer, Juan, kennenzulernen. Ein freundlicher, charismatischer Mensch der mit mir zu seiner Bank gefahren ist, als meine Kreditkarte nicht funktionierte. Danke für deine Geduld und dein Vertrauen, Juan!

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026Las fotos no hacen justicia al sitio. Simplemente espectacular, amplio y con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días muy cómodos. Las habitaciones super amplias con AC y caja fuerte, el baño funcional, amplio y la fucha un plus. La cocina está muy muy bien equipada, el comedor y la sala son muy amplios y frescos. El balcón es agradable. Se puede parquear en la propiedad. No usamos la piscina, pero el espacio es muy bonito. La playa esta muy cerca caminando. Juan fue un gran anfitrión, estuvo pendiente de nosotros todo el tiempo y hasta nos ayudo para pedir domicilio.
Nada que decir negativo, lo único es que debes hacer el pago en efectivo.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2025We recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful apartment in Bella Villa for two weeks and were truly impressed and happy from start to finish. The apartment is exceptionally clean and comfortable, equipped with everything you need. The property is stunning—immaculate grounds filled with lush greenery, and a gorgeous pool that’s always sparkling and inviting. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The location is ideal—just a short walk (15 minutes) to the charming village of Las Galeras, where you’ll find everything you need, delicious local restaurants, groceries and supplies. The friendly local moto taxis will get you back home in just a few minutes. Even better, you are only a few minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic—La Playita, where you can rent a lounge chair for the day and enjoy the solitude at one end or the slightly busier vibe towards the beach restaurant at the other. One of the best parts of the experience was the people. The local community is so warm and welcoming—it’s easy to feel like you belong here. The on-site caretakers, Marilin and her husband, are incredibly helpful and attentive, always around if you need anything and ensuring everything at Bella Villa is clean, safe, and peaceful. The owners, Juan and Maria, are very welcoming and immediately responsive if you have any questions. Whether you’re here to unwind, explore this beautiful area, or enjoy the local culture, Bella Villa is a perfect and safe home base. We can’t wait to return!

Reviewed Feb 16, 2025Nice quiet place close to the beach, very clean and modern appartment with the pool, friendly staff, perfect communication and support from the owner.
Part of the place is being under construction, which might cause some noise and discomfort at the pool, but since se were most of the time out at the seaside, we didn’t mind at all.
