Reviewed Aug 16, 2026In een nieuwe wereld! Hier moet je echt een keer naar toe gaan, wat een bijzondere ervaring hebben wij gehad. Spontane ontvangst, schoner kon niet, heerlijk aan het water en in romantische sfeer kan je een heerlijk dagje op de golfjes doorbrengen in een mooie sloep. In de omgeving is het heerlijk fietsen, deze locatie krijgt een grote groene vink!

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Ganz tolle und gemütliche Lodge. Der Campingplatz ist super am Wasser gelegen. Bietet viele Möglichkeiten ob mit dem Fahrrad oder mit dem Boot. Tolles Restaurant und sehr nettes Personal.
An Sonnigen Tagen heizt sich die Lodge ordentlich auf.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026The lodge is lovely - and contains all small amenities required for a short stay (mugs, cutlery etc.)
To avoid during warm (30+) weather. We visited during a heatwave (obviously not the fault of the hosts) and the houses were like saunas. Impossible to stay inside until past 10pm when a storm finally cooled the air. A fan was provided (after asking), but no extra steps were taken from the staff to help (suggestion: providing a free drink at their bar, or offering access to their boats to keep customers occupied while unable to use the facilities).

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026The property itself was pretty good—clean and comfortable with a nice terrace. The food at the restaurant was good, the service was great, and we really enjoyed the beautiful lake view from the restaurant while eating.
However, the bathroom description is highly misleading. The booking confirmation explicitly lists a 'Private bathroom' and 'Toilet' as separate facilities. In reality, the private space only consists of a toilet and a sink with no hot water. The actual shower is a shared facility, and we had to walk outside our room to use it. Furthermore, we stayed for 3 nights (5th to 8th) and were only given one set of towels per person. When we asked for another two towels, the host forced us to pay an extra €6, despite towels being explicitly listed as included in our booking rate. Advertising this as a private bathroom and charging for listed amenities is completely unacceptable.

Reviewed May 29, 2026Das ist ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Tiny-House. Es wird sehr warm, wenn die Sonne scheint, aber die Nächte waren kühler und so konnte ich es gut aushalten. Es ist super, ein Waschbecken und eine Toilette mit im Tiny-House zu haben, so muss man nur zum Duschen in die Gemeinschaftsduschen. Aber die sind ganz nah bei.
Die Unterkunft war super. In dem Ort gibt es nur leider kaum Ladestationen für ein e-Auto. Entweder sie funktionierten nicht oder waren dauerbelegt. Wenn man dort hinfährt also etwas Strom-Reserve einkalkulieren und woanders aufladen :-)

Reviewed May 17, 2026Wir haben in einem kleinen Haus auf dem Campingplatz übernachtet und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Lage war wirklich wunderschön und das Dorf einfach wie aus einem Märchen. Auch das Häuschen selbst war sehr gut – gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtet. Alles, was man für die erste Zeit braucht, war vorhanden. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Da die Nächte noch kühl waren (Anfang Mai) war es in der Toilette sehr kalt. Es gab allerdings einen kleinen Heizlüfter.

Reviewed May 6, 2026What a great location, such a pretty area and an incredibly beautiful 2-3km stroll along the canals and lakes too right on its doorstep. Such a friendly family-run operation too, everyone....Mark, Miranda, Milan and Mathijs all really lovely and friendly. The lodge I had was super quiet and peaceful, just what I needed, as for the 2hr boat ride I took - what cracking weather I had too for seeing the gorgeous waterways and nature surrounding the location. Next time I come back in full fishing season though! :) I had the Salmon in the pub/cafe on site too on my last night, probably the most perfectly cooked salmon I have had in some time, delicate perfectly crispy skin, with absolutely melt-in mouth perfectly cooked moist flesh. Top notch! Mark....one final thing, good luck with that new toy....I mean that GPS mower, hope you manage to get it mapped accurately eventually! :) See you soon.

Reviewed May 2, 2026De Lodge is echt super gezellig. Locatie is geweldig en de eigenaren super vriendelijk. Bed ligt heerlijk. Elektrische boot voor een dag huren is ook een aanrader alsmede het restaurant aan het water.
Enig minpuntje (maar dat wisten wij), je hebt geen eigen douche. Douchen in toiletgebouw waar je voor 50 cent 4 minuten kunt douchen. Maar zoals gezegd wisten wij dat en was voor ons geen probleem.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2025Die Gastgeber sind ein sehr nettes Ehepaar, die sich um alle Belange gekümmert haben. Wir wohnten in eines der vier Tiny Häuser. Die Duschräume sind gleich nebenan. Die Elektroboote sind 2025 angeschafft worden und fahren sehr gut. Man kann mit dem Boot von dort aus bis vor Giethoorn und zurück ohne nachladen alles in Ruhe erkunden.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2025Die Umgebung in und um Belt-Schutsloot ist unbeschreiblich schön. Ich bin sehr viel mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs gewesen. Hierbei habe ich den Ort Zwartsluis entdeckt. Ein nettes kleines Städtchen mit diversen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Cafes, Restaurants und vielen Möglichkeiten an den Kanälen draußen zu sitzen. Das ca. 5 km weiter entfernt liegende Griethorn ist ebenfalls schön anzusehen und eine Bootsfahrt zu machen, allerdings touristisch sehr überlaufen.
Negativ aufgefallen ist mir, daß selbst in dieser schönen Landschaft, die teils ein Nationalpark ist, die Leute ihre Papp- und Plastikbecher oder anderen Unrat einfach in die Landschaft werfen. Ich hatte immer eine Tasche dabei und einiges eingesammelt. Am nächsten Tag lag wieder Müll herum. Überrascht war ich daß viele Autofahrer mit ziemlichem Tempo durch den Park fuhren.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2025Supersüßes Tiny House auf einem kleinen familiengeführten Campingplatz, direkt am Wasser alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Dorf Belt-Schutsloot gefällt uns mehr als Giethoorn, einfach wunderschön. Guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge.
Wenn die Sonne stark scheint, heizt sich das Häuschen sehr auf, ähnlich wie ein ein Wohnwagen oder Zelt.

Vrij druk en lawaaierig door verkeer en geluid van aangrenzende camping. Voor ons geen enkel probleem maar voor mensen die voor rust komen minder ideaal.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2024We loved staying at The Lodge! It is so cozy and cute! We loved sitting outside in our own private space. The inside is immaculate and lovely. The setting is ideal, as there is a very good restaurant right next to the RV area near the water. The walk down to the next town is magical! The hosts are very gracious and welcoming and are great communicators. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the LODGE!
