The Motel One - Colombo Border

The owner was very kind and made all the arrangements for us. He was very helpful. The property was cozy and very comfortable. Had really good air conditioners washrooms and a little tv. Overall good property great location, really good access to amenities. There was a little fridge where we stored the sweets we bought. Great lighting very bright.

However it wasn't as clean as we expected. The owner has assigned a care worker but looks like he isn't doing his job. One of the bathrooms was blocked with tissues and the sink kept constantly filling up. There were tissue rolls that were not replaced they looked really old, the towels and sheets didn't look fresh and clean we washed them in the machine they had dried them out and tried to use some of them However we bought our own stuff as we weren't comfortable using them. The plates and dishes were not to the standard we expected but was ok and we really had a good time despite this.

Amazing and worth for the money. Same as the. Picture and the host is super friendly and helpful. Very decent place ❤️

Amazing apartment with plenty of space and very comfortable for our stay. Everything was clean, well organized, and exactly as described. The three rooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living area, and washing machine made our stay easy and enjoyable. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay again.

The structure of the house

We loved the space of this apartment, never felt cramped with lots of space options. Bathrooms, living areas and bedrooms were spacious and clean. There’s a little shop opposite the premises where you can buy things conveniently. Sam was a wonderful host who also helped us at last minute to get to our next destination as there were no PickMes nearby due to the public holiday.

Though it had a kitchen, cooking utensils were limited so were had to improvise.

Really nice place with good facilities. Worth for money .

Nothing, avoid.

The employee who met us was abusive, rude and insulted one of our group, she felt so humiliated and upset that we left one day early. Location is really BAD for airport and Colombo city. The owner was initially apologetic about staff abuse and understood why we’d leave a day early. We agreed on a fee, then the next day he requested more money. It was only when I lodged a complaint to Bookings.com that he stopped trying to get more money. The only negative experience we had in this beautiful country.

The hotel was very clean, and the owner was extremely kind and welcoming. I had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

The stay is just a like a perfect luxurious home with the all the best services provided it feels like u are in 4 star property .... The host is very kind and supportive and gives wonderful hospitality.... Best property for friends and family.

He offered a car for our trips and gave me a pretty good price. Very quiet area, All the facilities are there. Thank you sir (House owner). There is a shop on the doorstep.
