The apartment was so well appointed and we really appreciated the little touches like electric blankets, coffee machine with milk frother and the chips and dip! The view from the table was beautiful and the beds were super comfy. We all voted this the best accommodation of our entire trip!

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026An amazing view over Wanaka, a short drive down to all the shops and cafes. Very clean and comfy. A whole kitchen to cook if you needed to. Also had a bunch of board games which was great!
Dividing wall from the main house, can hear noise through this. But host was very respectful! Just as guests, would have to keep this in mind if having smaller kids stay etc

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Everything was exceptional at Lake Views Wanaka! Kathy and Mark were gracious hosts, the VIEWS are incredible and the beds extremely comfortable. The unit was spotless from a cleanliness standpoint and everything one would need to relax, enjoy and take in the beauty of the Wanaka area was provided. Simple touches like Nespresso pucks, milk, tea and the Kiwi dip and chips were much appreciated. Easy check in/check out and responsive communication before and during our stay. THANK YOU for letting us enjoy your beautiful property.

It was a treat to come back each day to this lovely place. Kathy was so kind; she did everything humanly possible to help us when we left something behind. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Reviewed Nov 23, 2025Memo to other hosts - this is how you do it. A modern, excellently equiped apartment attached to the hosts house that really delivered. Incredible views over Lake Wanaka. Plenty of space and a great place to inhabit, not just a place to sleep. They had really thought about how to provide an enjoyable experience, even down to providing manuals for every device in the apartment as well as plenty of powerpoints.
It's slighty out of town (about 10 minutes drive) but thats why the views are so good. It's in a new housing estate and there is some construction work. While we were staying there was no problem with nosie.

We also loved having the opportunity to have cuddles with Colin the hypoallergenic Cavoodle whilst enjoying the sunny backyard during our stay 🥰 Welcoming and delightful hosts, we look forward to staying again.

Someone staying in second bedroom from owners' side. Make sure you request both bedrooms - although advertised as two bedroom and you are booking entire apartment, one bedroom was locked and had someone staying in. Still paid for entire apartment, but son couldn't stay in other bedroom.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2023We loved how warm, sunny and spacious the apartment was. Hosts had thought of everything you would need. We loved the view. Apartment was beautiful and new. Hosts were wonderful.
It was quite a distance from where you parked the vehicle to the front door. You couldn't pull a suitcase with wheels on the paving to the door of the apartment you needed to carry it.
