Waking up to the beautiful mountains and peaceful surroundings was an amazing experience. The hostel has a great vibe, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the place is clean and comfortable. As a solo traveller, I also loved the atmosphere—it’s easy to meet new people and make memories. If you’re visiting Rishikesh, especially for the views and peaceful vibes, I’d definitely recommend staying here. One of my best hostel experiences ever! 🌄✨

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026We visited Joyes by Ganges at around 7:00 PM on 05/09/2026. Upon arrival, we found the room, bed, curtains, and overall surroundings to be unhygienic and poorly maintained. The reception area was also very unorganised and dirty.
Since the booking was already paid for in advance, we requested the reception to provide us with another clean and suitable room. However, our request was denied. Considering the condition of the property, we did not stay at the hotel at all and had to leave.

Room is very unclean, found cockroaches in room, earth worms in bathrooms, no hot water water heater is not working. Curtains do not close completely. Pillows had mold. Roof was dirty. No nearby charing port Staff does not help at all. I told them 3 times not even once they cleaned the room.

It was very hot in the Loft so all 4 of us slept on sofa bed which was not in good condition . The AC was also leaking maybe because of the constant rain.

The absolute highlight was the rooftop cafe—the views were incredible, and the vibe during the evening music jamming sessions was unmatched. Would definitely stay again!

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Vibe + Detail Review If you want fun + comfort near Laxman Jhula, book this hotel! The night club here is a highlight - amazing nights, good DJ and crowd. Dorm rooms are spacious with good facilities and very well maintained. What stood out the most was the staff. So polite, helpful and friendly. Plus the place and view are awesome. 10 mins to Laxman Jhula and the scenery is just beautiful. Will definitely come back!

The hostel was very clean, the bathrooms were well maintained, and the rooftop café had equally beautiful views. The receptionist and staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay.

The reception could be bit better as it's the first thing you see as you enter. Hostel is way better than reception 😄 just 1 thing - slight smell in one of the bathrooms but staff tried to rectify it.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Had an amazing stay at Joey’s! The dorms were neat, clean, and comfortable, but what I enjoyed most was the crowd here. I ended up meeting some amazing people and making really good friends during my stay, which honestly made the whole Rishikesh experience even better. The biggest selling point for me was definitely their private Ganga ghat, and it absolutely lived up to it. It was much cleaner, quieter, and less crowded than most of the other ghats I visited around Rishikesh. Being able to just walk down from the hostel and sit by the Ganga whenever you feel like it is something special. The location is also very convenient and easy to reach, while still feeling like you’re right in the heart of everything. Great people, clean dorms, an amazing location, and that private ghat really sets the place apart. 10/10. Would definitely stay here again!

It was much cleaner, quieter and less crowded than most of the ghats I visited in Rishikesh, and being able to walk down to the Ganga anytime was absolutely worth it. The hostel is also very easy to reach and conveniently located in the heart of Rishikesh.
