good apartment and excellent services

The location and amount of room were good.

First the posted pictures in selecting this property were deceptive, even different color soda in property. Our downstairs apartment was a storefront with double plate glass windows. The only blinds from the T intersection where vehicle lights yielded all night were cloth white type blinds. Definitely needed darkening shades for sleep. IF the mattresses on the beds had once been 4 inch foam they are now reduced to between 1-2inches due to use I guess. Very uncomfortable. Bathroom was fine with washing machine. This is my first time to review but felt it needed addressing.

Great location in the old town with its own parking. Able to explore the town on foot from the accommodation.

Die Wohnung war ca. eine Viertelstunde vom Stadtkern entfernt. Dafür ganz nah bei Gamble Stavanger. Wunderschön! Die Wohnung war zweckmäßig Ausgestattet, das Bad sauber und schön. Die Wohnung war sauber und nett. Die Vermieterin sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut. Wir würden wieder fort übernachten!

The apartment was small but enough for 4 people. The kitchen was well equiped, including coffee and tea. The apartment is located near the center, and the parking spot next door was very convenient.

Está muy bien ubicado y disponer de zona de aparcamiento es una gran ventaja.

Es pequeño y no muy cómodo para 4 personas. Echamos en falta una cafetera.

Close to the old town

No power points in kitchen. Limited cooking facilities. Couldn’t plug microwave in anywhere in living area.

Gute Lage, viel Platz im Wohnzimmer, es gab Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine, die Dusche war gut.

Der Zugangscode war falsch kommuniziert. Aber Gott sei Dank ist der Besitzer trotz später Uhrzeit direkt drangegangen und uns den richtigen Code mitgeteilt. Es hat sehr stark vom Fenster neben dem Bett gezogen. Die Spülmaschine fällt aus dem Gehäuse, wenn man nicht aufpasst. Das Herd hat nicht funktioniert. Aber es gibt auch ein portabes Miniherd. Damit konnte man kochen.

Výborné vybavené ubytovanie v blízkosti centra mesta za primerané peniaze.

Hluk z ulice a svetlo od áut. K použitým žalúziám by stačilo pridať ťažké zavesy a ubytovanie by bolo oveľa príjemnejšie.

We booked The Black Door and the good thing was definitely the great location, super responsive Arianna and it was tidied up. However, we were travelling with a baby and there were some things that just did not allow for a stay with a baby (too many easy to reach power sockets, light from outside during night, etc) so we got in touch with Arianna for a better apartment which she allowed us. The Yellow Door was the new place and this was so much better - no road noise or street lights during night, enough space for baby to freely move, etc thanks again for tha! Yellow Door also has great equipment which we were missing in the Black Door so with the new apartment we were happy.

Location was great and the host was the best

The apartment was clean, and more importantly, the host Arianna was super responsive and sorted out issues immediately. Very helpful indeed. The location was great, and the facilities in the apartment were adequate for our stay. Small details elevated this apartment above others I've used.

The bed was on the hard side despite a topper, but this is personal preference.

Obiekt położony jest w fajnej lokalizacji ale to miejsce po starym lokalu użytkowy. Wchodzi się bezpośrednio z ulicy do "salonu". Za oknami ruchliwa ulica. Kuchnia bardzo słabo wyposażona. Lokal typowo no jedna Maks 2 noce.

it was I a nice part of the city, only took 5 minutes to get to the bars and restaurant. very nice bathroom.

they could have put up blacked out curtains, the windows goes right into the whole apartment, so the led lights from cars goes straight in at you when you sleep.

Es que parece que ella publica el apartamento de arriba y es el primer piso la cosina es eléctrico no funciona despues nos adptamos

Molt ben ubicat, a pocs minuts del centre (has de pujar dues pujades llargues. Si vas amb maletes, recomano un taxi i ni anar arrosegant-les). La amabilitat dels amos, vam tenir un petit problema i ho van solucionar a l’instant oferint-nos una alternativa. Estava tot molt net i decorat amb molt bon gust. Hi ha cafè, estris de cuina i sabó i xampú al lavabo.

Saltava la llum quan enxufaves més d’un electrodomèstic. Al ser un baix a peu de carrer i sense persianes (tenen estores), per la nit entrava la llum dels cotxes ja que està ubicat en un carrer amb força trànsit i costa dormir si estàs acostumat a dormir a les fosques. Les plaques per cuinar no funcionaven pero tenien unes portatils. Faltava el plat del microones però si ficaves un plat normal, podies escalfar sense que se’t caies el contingut.

Har varit där 2 nätter för resan. Sitter på soffan på en morgon kaffe med nattskjol plötsligt kommer 3 mänen öppna min dörr utan att knackar dörren. ( Försök att komma in) Jag var upprörd och ställa jag frågan varför öppna du min dörr då fick jag svar att han som äger lägenhet då säger han. Då undrar jag varför fick jag inte information att du eller ni ska komma in och håller på renovera fast jag bor jo där inne?? Jag rinde direkt till han som gav mig information när jag checkar in då fick jag inte samma svar det var hemskt att dom gör så. Jag känner mig obehagligt sitter jag nästan heltnaken i lägenhet då säger äger att du är en vacker dom det gör väl inget det var respektlöst när jag fick höra. Isåfall dom måste meddela mig eller ringa mig för dom kommer in nej tyvärr inte. Var missnöjd ❌️ Dåligt har aldrig varit med detta. Respektlöst ❌️ Dåligt information ❌️ Send väldigt sen med pinkod för dörren check in kl. 14 fick ringa kl. 13.58 för en pinkod det ska vara 30 min för incheckning.

Apparently, the whole apartment was super clean, cross the road straight down to the right to huge supermarket less than 2 minutes walk, the best location for the town, nice bathroom with lovely shower.

It’s a bit noisy road but nothing can do about it. But still the best location and highly recommended to stay. Please put certain instead of blind very light indoor in the morning.

Nad mieszkaniem znajduje sie drugie, bardzo głośno słychać kazdy ruch mieszkańców z góry. W nocy był incydent ze ktos zaglądał w okna za rolety kręcił się pod oknem, ciągnął za klamkę. W takiej sytuacji napisalam do właściciela- Brak odzewu, dzwoniłam na policję dopiero po interwencji sytuacja ustała. Nie wspominam tego pobytu tam miło.

Výborná lokalita , kousek do centra i přístavu. Ubytování bylo velmi čisté.

For this price it is a great option for those who plan to stay in Stavanger for a few days, very close to the centre and parking right next to the house

Heel mooi en gezellig ingericht. Vlak bij het oude centrum en de haven. Wasmachine beschikbaar. Mooie, praktische badkamer. Parkeerplaats beschikbaar.

Helaas werkte de wifi niet. Het fornuis was stuk en de kabels hingen los onder de wasbak. Er was een kookpit waarmee we op de grond konden koken. De eigenares ging na haar verlof alles laten herstellen zei ze. Ze verontschuldigde zich en bood een refund aan. Deze hebben we na een paar weken helaas nog niet ontvangen. We wachten haar bericht en de refund nog even af.

Apartment just outside Gammel Stavanger, within 10 minutes walk to the centre. It had all the basic necessities. Parking next to the apartment.

We couldn't get the TV to work and the internet was very weak. Black out curtains or blinds would have been great as it didn't get dark till 2am! The apartment is on the main road, so there is some rush hour traffic noise.

Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy our stay. The noise from the busy street and the recurring beams of light made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. If we had read the reviews beforehand, we certainly would not have booked the accommodation. In addition, many things were broken. The blind above the bed was torn, so the neighbors on the terrace could see directly into the bed. We had to hastily repair this ourselves with two pieces of string. In the kitchen, neither the stove nor the extractor hood worked. This seems to be known, as a portable hotplate is already provided. However, there is no power outlet nearby and no extension cable. In the bathroom, the shower doors do not close completely, so water inevitably splashes into the rest of the room when showering. However, the good location and communication do not make up for the aforementioned shortcomings.

Location is super great. Everything is close, it’s few minutes walk to centre. Arianna was super helpful with everything.

When we came there was so cold inside. We have to wait until next morning for good temperature. In the kitchen there was something that was ringing from 4 am to 9am (we don’t know that we had to push something so it stop ringing) .

It is located in the center of the city, which was perfect. The owner reacted to our messages quickly. We were affraid of noisy street mentioned in other reviews, but It was totally okay for us.

Some things need to be improved, mainly gadgets in the kitchen. Stove was not working at all, so we had to cook on the ground on some additional heater. The sofa was broken, so the third person had to sleep on half of the sofa as one part wasn’t holding with the other. Wi-fi wasn’t working in the half of the apartment. So generally it would be great for a couple, not group of people.

An apartment is close to downtown. Walking distance to all the restaurants and bars, as well as the shopping center. There's also a parking spot right by the building. The owner provides a parking card. The apartment is cozy and clean with all the necessary amenities. Good contact with the owners.

The apartment is right by the busy street, which can be noisy at night. There was a problem with WiFi. It was difficult to connect to the router.

Clean apartment, Great shower. Great location as it was a nice walking distance to town and lots of restaurants on the same street. Great parking space outside.

The microwave rotating glass plate was missing. We reported it and was told it will be replaced in the morning but no one did. The WiFi did not work for more than 24 hours. We contacted the owners who tried to resolve but could not fix it. Very disappointing when the owners did not respond when we stated the WiFi still did not work the 2nd time. As a result, we could not watch TV! WIFI IS NOT RELIABLE OR NOT WORKING !!

Stavanger is a wonderful city. This accommodation offers you a tour of the city and its surroundings without any problems. Free parking and excellent transport connections.

The owner of the accommodation did not provide us with a view of the aurora borealis and did not provide us with good conditions for climbing Pulpit Rock. :)...

It was spotless and everything you need for a few days away

It was at the top of a hill , there’s probably an easier way to get to it but we were only there for a few days so it was grand

Loction, location. A beautifully presented apartment on the door step to Stavanger. A short stroll to the water front through the old part of town. If you get the chance, take the cruise to pulpit rock. Thank you for the stay.

Stavanger is not presented as a travel destination. Had we known how beautiful it is, we would have extended our stay to at least 3 days.

The host was quick at answering our questions and very helpful! The apartment was nice and clean, very good location.

The sofa bed was not the best for two persons to sleep in, it was leaning a lot to the middle. We slept on the sofa the second night without opening up the sofa bed, worked fine but not optimal.

located on a busy street so could hear cars all through the night and often had headlights flashing through the blinds. shared with another couple as had bedroom and sofa bed and beds were close to each other with nothing inbetween so was no privacy. also had to go through the bedroom to the bathroom which again eats into the privacy if sharing.

The place is nicely decorated. I also appreciated that there was a washing machine and drying rack to do laundry.

The internet didn’t work at all the full first day I was there. The second day, they said it was fixed but the signal was so weak it wouldn’t work on my phone at all and would only work on my computer from one part of the room, and not at all from the bedroom. And even then the signal was so bad that my internet connection kept getting disrupted. There wifi router isn’t even in the apartment - they have it in another apartment and it doesn’t reach this one well. It was very difficult to get a hold of the hosts about the internet problem. They didn’t respond to my messages and so I finally called them and they never got back to me until late in the evening when “it was too late to fix it.” They said that they would reimburse me for the internet problem and I haven’t gotten anything from them and it’s been a week that I’ve been waiting on it already. They also texted me in the middle of my stay and asked me why I hadn’t checked out and were very rude before realizing they texted the wrong person. Also, the comforter was such low quality and unbreathable material that it made me sweat every night even though the room was cool. One last thing they don’t mention on the website is that the location is on the intersection of a busy street and so you hear cars all the time going by the window. You can’t open the window blinds because everyone on the street would see right in, and it is also located at the top of a steep hill. I would not stay here again.
