Reviewed Feb 11, 2026Oh my word, what an amazing stay. Basson was incredible — warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. We had complete privacy, and the unit was thoughtfully set up with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the surrounding area was peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to unwind. We genuinely had a fantastic time and left feeling refreshed. Thank you, Basson, for such a memorable experience.

Reviewed Nov 16, 2025Tout La vue sur la Canopée et l’océan ,la baignoire, la douche dehors ,la terrasse … la proximité avec le parc aux zèbres et autres bébêtes et la plage en bas La maison est très bien équipée et super safe Basson le propriétaire est vraiment adorable et de très bon conseil Merci 🙏 Il faut y aller pour goûter au paradis
Rien c était parfait On aurait du rester encore 2 jours de plus , on y a passé que 2 nuits

He made some suggestions of what we can do in the area and all the recommendations were also 10/10. The unit is stocked with everything you need for a self catering stay and the views are just awesome. Thanks Basson

Basson met us to explain how things worked and gave a quick tour of the area , the cabin was clean comfortable and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay Highly recommended

Reviewed Dec 27, 2024Everything! Silver Mist is an absolute gem, the kind of place you want to tell all your friends they have to visit but you also want to keep it to yourself to keep it so special! Such a peaceful spot and instantly relaxing. The cabin is extremely well appointed, very comfortable and the bath is unbeatable! The host is really helpful and quick to respond to queries. Thank you for the bubbly & chocolates which we enjoyed on Christmas Day!

Reviewed Mar 31, 2024We loved our quiet stay in Ballots. Silver Mist is a wonderful choice for a couples break if you like nature, quiet and surf but still want comfort. The description was exactly as indicated, the location is stunning, and the facilities are great. The host was very communicative, friendly, and accommodating. What a romantic and comfortable setting for a couple, loved it.
I usually like a stove for making certain dishes, but it's not a deal breaker on the accommodation. We just changed the menu to suit.
