The staff there were so kind and accommodating, really making us feel safe in such a new city. The beds and rooms were perfect, and we loved the morning breakfast and additional facilities.

One of the window's in the first room we stayed at didn't close. As a result the air-con was less effective.

Muy recomendable. El riad es precioso y el personal es muy atento y amable. Nada más llegar nos ofrecieron té y después nos hicieron un pequeño recorrido por el riad, un detalle que nos gustó mucho. La habitación era muy bonita y cómoda. Además, éramos pocos huéspedes y se agradecía muchísimo, ya que pudimos disfrutar de la piscina prácticamente solos casi todo el tiempo. Una estancia muy agradable en Marrakech.

Como único punto negativo, la llamada a la oración se escuchaba bastante fuerte desde la habitación y nos despertaba prácticamente cada día sobre las 4-5 de la madrugada, interrumpiendo el sueño. Evidentemente, es algo relacionado con la ubicación del riad y no con el alojamiento en sí, pero conviene tenerlo en cuenta si tienes el sueño ligero.

Le personne est très gentil, le petite déjeuner est très bon, les chambres sont jolies et propres. La piscine est parfaite lorsqu’il fait chaud.

Le Riad est peut être un peu loin du cœur de la médina

Gostamos de tudo! O funcionário Smail é muito simpático e está sempre disponível para ajudar! A riad também é muito sossegada e limpa.

非常漂亮，非常舒适，我们预定了大的房间，空间足够大，有沙发和茶几，所以我们回房间后可以休息的很好。住家阿姨每天看到我就给我冰矿泉水，非常感谢他们对我们的照顾，早餐很好吃，薄荷很新鲜，三个早餐的面饼都不太一样，样式很丰富！我们是八月入住的，当时的马拉喀什太热了，45摄氏度，所以每天中午我们都需要回到房间避暑，回到空调房真的非常舒服！而且他们每天都打扫，我很感激！房子里面是很干净的，卫生条件值得信赖！

唯一不太好的点是房子外面的马路是泥土路，所以不太方便穿着漂亮的鞋子或者白鞋出门，外面的马路灰尘有点大。

Not much I had to move to a hotel. However the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Dirty pool,dirty rugs in my room,terrace sunbeds needed a good wash or clean. Could do with a revamp.

The riad is beautiful. Lovely, safe oasis from the hectic streets of Marrakech. Very hard to fault anything. The pool was a treat, we used it everyday. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Smail, the building manager, treated us so well, thank you. He even showed us how to pour peppermint tea in the traditional Moroccan way. The shower in my room wasn't draining properly, but it was fixed immediately.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. A bit light on. Larger portions / more variety and expresso coffee would have helped. Rooftop access stairs seemed too dangerous to climb and the rooftop was too hot to use, although we were there in later spring.

I really liked the location of the riad. It was peaceful and yet close to the souks. I really enjoyed the interior, the decoration, the rooftop and especially the staff! They were all very welcoming, helpful and hospitable! I can really recommend this riad!

Magnifique Riad

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo riad per tre notti con una coppia di amici. La posizione è decentrata rispetto alla Medina: per raggiungere le principali attrazioni bisogna prendere un taxi oppure camminare circa 25 minuti fino a piazza Jamaa el Fna, il che lo rende poco pratico, soprattutto la sera. Il personale è gentile, ma la comunicazione con il guardiano notturno è stata quasi impossibile, poiché non parla inglese, francese né italiano. La camera al piano terra, accanto alla cucina, era rumorosa e soggetta a cattivi odori. Dal bagno proveniva un forte odore di fogna che non è mai stato risolto, nonostante la nostra segnalazione. Inoltre, il bagno era infestato da insetti, comprese alcune blatte. La pulizia era decisamente insufficiente: capelli nella doccia all’arrivo, lenzuola macchiate e usurate e, soprattutto, la presenza di cimici da letto, scoperta durante la notte. Dopo aver documentato la situazione con foto e video insieme al guardiano, abbiamo chiesto e ottenuto il cambio di camera. Quella al piano superiore era migliore, ma comunque non all’altezza del prezzo richiesto. Pagare circa 100 € a notte per una struttura con questi problemi è ingiustificato, soprattutto considerando che riad più centrali offrono standard di pulizia, comfort e servizio nettamente superiori. La colazione è nella media. Come unico gesto per il grave disagio subito, il manager ci ha promesso uno sconto sul taxi del giorno successivo, ma non si è più fatto sentire.

Un riad somptieux avec un personnel incroyable à l'image du riad. Un merci particulier à Smail pour son accueil, Henriette également et à tout le personnel et chef d'établissement. Merci d'avoir fait de ces vacances un endroit où le temps s'arrête et où l'on se sent comme à la maison

L’accueil est extraordinaire très serviable et gentil. Le petit déjeuner était au top et l’endroit aussi est magnifique.

I had a lovely stay at this riad. It had plenty of charm and character, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere The manager was especially welcoming. The breakfast was plentiful with a good variety During my stay, I was taking exams online, and the riad provided the perfect environment for this. It was peaceful, quiet, and comfortable, allowing me to study and complete my exams without any distractions. The location was also great, making it super easy to explore the surrounding areas

Qui state prenotando la vera ospitalità Marocchina. Ci siamo trovate benissimo. Smail e il suo staff ci hanno fatto sentire davvero a casa. Colazione continentale e variegata. La posizione è ottima è tutto raggiungibile a piedi in 10 minuti. Mi hanno fatto anche una piccola sorpresa per il mio compleanno <3 Grazie ancora di cuore a tutto lo staff

If I could give this place more than 10/10, I would. From the moment we arrived, we didn’t feel like guests, we felt like family. The Riad itself is very beautiful, peaceful, and well located. The rooms were comfortable, always spotless, and peaceful. The breakfast was more than delicious and fresh. But what truly makes this place special is the people. The hospitality we experienced here is something I have rarely seen in my life. We were welcomed with a level of kindness and hospitality that is difficult to put into words. Everyone made us feel welcomed, cared for and genuinely at home. A very special thank you to Momo, who is one of the kindest and most incredible people we have ever met. He was always there for us, always helping, making sure we were comfortable, always welcoming us with a smile and making every day better. My grandma became very attached to him. We left with thousands of photos and beautiful memories, but also with something much more valuable, the feeling that we had found a place full of kindness. Proof that strangers can make a place feel like home. Thank you for everything. We will never forget this place and hopefully we will be back soon.

Close proximity to the medina, taxi could come right to the entrance

As a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe during my stay. The riad is run by two men. At 10:30 PM, while I was already asleep, one of the hosts repeatedly knocked on my door. Even after I called out from inside that I was sleeping, he refused to leave and continued knocking until I opened it. Because they had been communicating with me via WhatsApp earlier, there was absolutely no reason this couldn't have been a text message. When I opened the door, it was a host I hadn't yet met. I told him he woke me up, but he completely dismissed it. Instead of apologizing for an emergency, he just asked where I was from and what time I wanted breakfast. I felt an incredibly strange vibe, so I closed the door and went back to bed. The next morning at breakfast, he continued to pester me, aggressively questioning why I hadn't wanted to open the door the night before. I did not feel safe in his company and cannot recommend this place to other women traveling alone.

A nossa estadia foi fantástica e fomos extremamente bem recebidos! A hospitalidade de todas as pessoas com quem interagimos foi excecional. Todo o espaço é lindíssimo, destacando-se a limpeza impecável e uma ótima relação qualidade-preço. O pequeno-almoço é excelente e muito bem servido. Adorámos ter um tabuleiro de xadrez à disposição, que acabámos por usar bastante. A localização é muito boa e conveniente, com a pequena ressalva de que a rua de acesso é um pouco poeirenta.

A nossa estadia no quarto Queen Superior, situado no último piso, foi prejudicada por um ruído intermitente e muito agudo vindo de uma das máquinas no telhado do edifício. O som é bastante audível dentro do quarto. Como ficámos apenas uma noite e trazíamos tampões para os ouvidos, conseguimos descansar, mas para estadias mais longas teria sido insuportável. Sugiro que reparem o equipamento ou que evitem alocar hóspedes neste piso até a situação estar resolvida. Além disso, a água da piscina estava bastante fria, mesmo com as temperaturas exteriores a rondar os 40ºC.

Location is fine, not too close from the main square but walking distance through the souk. Decoration is nice Size of the room

For the daily rate paid we were expecting a kettle in the room or at least a bottle of water. You can buy a big bottle beside for 6 dirhams (less than 0.60€) but in a place where water is not potable is a nice touch to provide water. Breakfast is poor Some noises during late hours at night probably someone (not guests) listening videos too loud Roof has potential but it's a bit messy and not very well looked after Taxi to/from the airport is almost half price compared to hotel's offer

Il Riad era semplicemente spettacolare! La nostra camera era molto spaziosa e pulita, ma il vero gioiello era il cortile interno: una meravigliosa piscina circondata da piante e fiori, illuminata dalla luce naturale che rendeva ogni dettaglio incantevole. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto usufruire completamente della colazione, avendo tour molto presto, ma gli Host sono stati estremamente gentili nel prepararci qualcosa da mangiare al volo: biscotti, torta, frutta, spremuta e caffè caldo, serviti sul tavolino nel cortile vicino alla nostra stanza. Gli Host sono davvero simpatici, disponibili e ospitali, sempre pronti ad aiutare in qualsiasi necessità. Il Riad dispone anche di una splendida terrazza con lettini per massaggi o per prendere il sole, dalla quale si gode di una vista incantevole sulla Medina. Siamo stati davvero benissimo e lo consiglio a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza indimenticabile.

Very welcoming Riad, placed in Medina, it felt so authentic. I am a solo travel woman and staying in the Riad Vilamoura and Spa made me feel safe and comfortable. They offer all conditions I needed and always extra support to making sure that my journey is as beautiful as possible. The room was clean and sweet, the food very good and fresh, and all people there are so nice. I want to mention the stuff from the kitchen and the lady from the massage, thank you for taking well care of me! Thank you Smail and Miguel for making my time in Marrakesh unforgettable!🌸

Um Riad com uma decoração maravilhosa. Consegui andar sempre a pé sem necessidade de recurso a táxis. Visitei toda a medina sem dificuldade. Há riads mais perto mas este tem a vantagem de os carros chegarem lá ao contrário de outros no meio da Medina em zonas onde não há carros. Empregados simpáticos e super disponíveis. Quarto limpo e cama super confortável. Bom pequeno-almoço. Vou voltar com certeza.

Riad Vilamora is a very beautiful riad in a calm place away from the busy city and crowded market places but also close enough to walk from and reach all the markets and the city's sights. It looks exactly as pictures, clean, and really cozy, with comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Smail and Abdel, and the breakfast was really good. Highly recommended!

Het was een geweldig verblijf. Wat het meest beviel was Abdelaziz! Wat een super host, super vriendelijk en een leuke energie. Zonder hem was het verblijf lang niet zo goed!!

De douche viel tegen. Voor de rest top, locatie, eten etc.

Je trouve qu’il est excessivement cher vu qu’il est loin du centre et que les chambres sont hyper petites

Le personnel était vraiment aux petits soins, un grand merci à Smail et à Abdoul Aziz pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse durant tout le séjour! Le petit déjeuner et excellent et typique marocain. La terrasse est vraiment agréable! Je recommande!

What a fantastic stay. The Riad is a calm, peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Medina — and the rooftop terrace is simply wonderful; perfect for soaking up the sun or watching it dip below the rooftops in the evening. Our hosts Abdulaziz and Mr Smiles are exceptional — knowledgeable, generous, and genuinely delightful. From the moment we arrived and Abdulaziz greeted us with some Mint tea, we knew we had picked the right place. Their restaurant and sightseeing tips were also spot on. Breakfast was a genuine highlight every single morning — something to look forward to from the moment you wake up. Highly Recommend.

The whole facility was amazing and so beautiful. I was traveling solo for the first time and felt so looked after and safe for the duration of my stay. Thank you so much for everything!

Really enjoyed our stay. Abdel was a real character and looked after us well. His lesson on how to pour mint tea was exceptional. Lovely riad, lovely rooftop relaxing space . Would certainly recommend it.

La piscina es muy bonita y el desayuno no está mal

De los riads en los que me hospedé, fue sin duda el peor. La habitación simple de cama doble no tiene intimidad, las ventanas dan al patio donde desayuna el resto de huéspedes y está pegado a la cocina. Además es muy pequeña, pero sin duda lo peor es el baño. Aparte de tener una ducha ridícula, que no funciona bien y salpica todo el suelo, tiene un olor insoportable a cañería, por no hablar de que hay cucarachas. En cuanto al servicio son muy invasivos, nos sentimos algo incómodos. La limpieza es normal, pero el primer día cuando llegamos las toallas estaban sucias. En resumen no reservéis la habitación simple porque no vale ese precio.

Abdoul qui m'a accueilli de nuit était parfait, bienveillant et si gentil. Smail qui a ensuite pris le relais le lendemain, était tout aussi charmant, attentif et attentionné. Le lieu est beau, et la terrasse apporte vraiment une plus value à l'hébergement. Les petits déjeuners servis sur la terrasse 🙏🏽

J'y ai tout apprécié. En revanche, il ne s'agit pas de chambres bien lumineuses. Mais comme partout au Maroc, dans beaucoup de riad, la lumière venant majoritairement du milieu du bâtiment, il est donc impossible que les chambres soient claires, mais la présence de petits luminaires agrémentent ce petit point. Les oreillers sont très volumineux, peut-être que c'est un point un peu dommage, pratique pour lire mais pas pour poser sa tête. J'ai donc dormi sans oreillers.

Tastefully decorated, cosy room, and a beautiful rooftop terrace!

Location was good - it was easy to find and centrally located but we didn't care for the neighbourhood in general.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, even with lots of extras and special requests. They were always helpful and attentive. Abdul provided an amazing breakfast and excellent service – we had a great time with him. Smile also always had a warm smile and was helpful with everything we needed (and even things we didn’t). Everyone contributed to making our stay memorable! We also had a massage and hammam. It was a nice experience, but it felt a bit improvised or last-minute. The massage took place in the bedroom.

One day we had no towels „because their were taken for the washing“ and came back just the day after Breakfast is after 8.30 very flexible but earlier that time you just miss breakfast (by a daytrip e.g)

Et fantastisk opphold her. Smail var fleksibel og sørget for den mest behagelige innsjekken jeg har opplevd. Jeg fikk god hjelp med det jeg trengte, og Abdul var også svært hjelpsom og bidro til å gjøre oppholdet ekstra bra. Det var en gjennomgående positiv og god atmosfære på stedet, som gjorde at man virkelig trivdes. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake hit.

The hospitality of the riad is incredible. I had such a lovely time conversating with Smail. I felt very welcomed as stepping in the place. They were willing to help me with things like knowing the neighborhood, booking the taxi, etc. Breakfast is delicious and beautifully organized. The rooftop was one of my favorite and you can spend some time there relaxing. I'll definitely come back to this place!

La Riad est sublime avec un rooftop parfait pour petit déjeuner ou profiter du soleil à tout moment de la journée. Le personnel est au petit soin et le localisation dans le nord de la Médina est parfaite si vous souhaitez un peu plus de calme.

La salle de bain n’avait pas de porte (un simple rideau) et nous avions parfois des odeurs de tuyauterie bouchée.

Un ringraziamento speciale va a Smil, che è una persona eccezionale: sempre disponibile, gentile e attento a ogni dettaglio. Ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più semplice organizzando per noi tutti i taxi per la sera, oltre ai trasferimenti da e per l’aeroporto, senza alcun problema. Es ist klassisch marokkanisch eingerichtet, wer auf neusten Luxus wert legt, ist hier nicht der richtige Gast

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Riad. Personal freundlich, insbesondere Smail, hat versucht uns einen tollen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Schöne Dachterasse und kleiner aber erfrischender Pool.

Zu wenig Brot beim Frühstück und auch trotz freundlichen Nachfrage nicht mehr Brot erhalten, mit der Aussage die Bäckereien hätten zu wegen des Feiertages nach Ramadan, aber ich habe am Tag davor und danach jeweils in Bäckereien oder Märkten Brot gekauft.

Super endroit très bien situé, malgré notre court séjour, on s'est senti tout de suite comme à la maison. Le lieu est magnifique et très paisible. Un grand merci au personnel, absolument au top, avec une mention spéciale pour Abdul Aziz qui a été aux petits soins avec nous tout au long du séjour. Nous avons adoré notre séjour ici, et je pèse mes mots. Smail et Abdelaziz ont été aux petits soins avec nous, peu importe l'heure, ils font tout pour satisfaire nos demandes. La chambre était vraiment bien, on est sur un bon rapport qualité prix. Nous avons pris le petit déjeuner sur le rooftop au soleil, c'était agréable. En 20 minutes à pied, vous vous trouvez au niveau de la place principale, honnêtement, ça ne se ressent pas, car vous êtes plongés très rapidement dans le souk. Bonus : Humainement parlant, ces personnes sont incroyables, on a beaucoup échangé avec eux. Ils sont très sociables mais respectent si vous êtes plutôt réservés. Un service exceptionnel ! Merci beaucoup. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

S'il faut chipoter, attendez vous à une pression d'eau faible au niveau du pommeau de douche en comparaison avec la France. Mais c'est pas grand chose.
