It’s central position. Within walking distance of town Its position next to club house - was an advantage for breakfast & dinner . Beautiful setting .
I felt the bath towel could have smelled fresher .
The Burrows lodge was lovely .spotless clean. Beds very comfy. Food in golf club was beautiful and well priced..would recommend it to anyone. Location was lovely and quiet at night..
Ensuite quite small.
The whole place is spotlessly clean and the rooms are modern and bright with food available in the golf clubhouse no more than 50 steps away. It's only a 20 to 25 minute walk to newtown cove and coastal walks and the excellent ritz pub and cove stores. Its a 5 minute walk to bus stops for tramore and waterford as well which is a bonus. Management communication is really good as and there is a booklet near the fridge in the corridor with advice on accessing the safe. Overall a great place to stay.
My room window overlooked a car park so not private with cars coming and going unless you have the blinds shut.
Room was extremely clean Location
Pictures of the property misleading. Tea/Coffee making facilities provided but no where in the room to sit down. Accommodation was literally a bed & shower, stayed 3 days no one serviced the room, no fresh towels, 3 bags of Tea provided for 2 people for 3 days, had to buy our own tea/Coffee & toilet paper for the price of the room this was rediculious. 1st night beds not comfy, flag mast constantly banging, no A/C window had to left open. 2nd night noise of people talking outside next to golf club (Windows of the room face out onto front door entrance/smoking area of golf club) 3rd night noise of some vomiting & 3am woken up by someone trying to get into main entrance of the accommodation. I tried to contact the manager but only recievied a message to ask staff in the bar for towels¿
Everything was great. Clean .
All was great. .. Lovely place. . Easy access to the town.
excellent location, great value and spotlessly clean.
Tramore Beach Lodge is... A lovely welcoming place to stay. With safe, bright, clean, compact, warm, cosy comfortable, well managed, easy to accommodation. The Traditional Club House, with 'gob smacking' views over the beautifully kept 'emerald green' Tramore Golf Course, had amazing staff who served up a wonderful breakfast each morning of our stay.💚 I loved the 'posh' eggs served up by the Chef and the Matre de/Artist was great to talk to, dashing in-between service. The Club Bar, with friendly staff serving 'original Guinness' is a real treat in the evenings too. The Lodge is a reasonable distance, walk, bus, drive,, depending on abilities, from the fantastic Tramore Beach and the tranquility of The Japanese Gardens. Great accomodation and location. We'll be back!
What's not to like!
A lovely stay spotless clean, near all amenities, good value for the money, but seeing it's increasing by €30 a night next year it would not be value for money as the room is very small and there is nowhere to put your clothes, no drawers or wardrobe, and the shower room is very tiny.
Nowhere to put your clothes.
Great location, easy check in and check out, nice and warm. The shower was excellent!
Spotless well equipped suitable
The quietness of the area. Close to Restaurant and Bar facilities. Friendly staff.
Not easily accessible to Public Transport (eg. Buses).
Served our purpose
It would have been good to know that we can get utensils and glasses from clubhouse. We could not get into our allocated parking space on arrival and had to park in disabled space.
Tramore beach Room 5, was excellent, spotless clean, great location, lovely staff, and the breakfast in the restaurant was delicious, I would highly recommend Tramore Beach Room 5, and Steven the was very helpful, and an excellent host.
There was i didn't like about Tramore Beach Room 5.
The whole stay was very comfortable. I can only evaluate positively and thank you for your willingness and help.
The accomodation was very central to all amenities. Everyone in the area were very pleasant. Check in and details running up to our stay were excellent. Felt very secure.
For Ladies a mirror in the room.
The self check in and check out is a great feature. Steven is always a message away should you have any problems, not that I had any. It was perfectly clean, with all the necessities for such a cheap price. I will stay again when I am next in Tramore
The lack of privacy for the rooms on the front could be uncomfortable for some guests. The only window in the room faces out to the golf club car park and due to the main gate to the golf club never closing, it could cause an uneasy feeling. But monitoring it when you are in the room, as well as using the blinds and curtains helps with this.
Lovely bright clean room, with TV with many channels, comfortable beds and pillows
The room is slightly on the small side, but can't really complain as price is good and very clean. Bathroom is also a bit small, but shower is lovely, modern bathroom. Could do with a second mirror in the bedroom.
I really enjoyed my short stay in the Accommodation, it was perfectly clean and though basic in its own way it exceeded my expectations, the setting was beautiful it was so tranquil, it was rural yet not isolated. The room was so clean and bright. Having access to the Clubhouse only a minute away was a real bonus , meaning that it really was nt self catering at all!! It was all very secure with the access codes for the key etc.. I would certainly stay there again if in the area.
Just a small point I was en route and did nt get the details of the keys etc, so perhaps a bit earlier notification of access process.
Location was perfect for me. New, clean, and comfortable accommodation. Bed and pillows were great. Slept very well.
Very easy check in, extremely clean, quiet and comfortable rooms, great location for our stay.
