Reviewed Aug 25, 2025The view overlooking the other side of the valley (?) was nice. The balcony would have been lovely in summer. The apartment had everything needed. It was in fact by the main road, but it was not noisy. The drive up to the property was steep although short. The 2-sitter couch was a bit small for 2 people - it would have been nice to have another couch so that a party of 3 people can sit comfortably, but not a big problem. For some reason Bookings didn't send the check in information nor notice of messages from the host, but the host sent us the check in info and we proactively checked the message page to find the info. So all was well.
Wifi not working well on the smart TV so we weren't able to watch a movie without constantly waiting for reloading. In the end we gave up. It's impossible to do anything without driving. We tried to explore the garden but soon reaslised it didn't lead to anywhere.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2025A lovely location in Greenhithe & so close to everything - even though it was so close to The Shore, it was surrounded in natural bush which made you feel as if you were staying in a rural location. The hosts were fantastic and very approachable,

Reviewed Jun 2, 2025The cottage was in a lovely position overlooking established bush so you felt uncrowded and there was a long view down to the city. Everything was well presented, provisioned and able to be warmed by heat pump quickly. The cottage is on the same property as the owner but we did not see anyone, although Felicia responded quickly to any enquiries by text .Noise was minimal because of double glazing, and it was easy to get to the Greenhithe village by car for an excellent curry at The Red Fort. Would definitely use again in if Auckland, it was easy to access and pleasant.
