Calao Villa, Solar Villa 2 rooms with Private Pool

La casa es muy bonita, con una decoracion preciosa, las camas muy comodas y todas las estancias son de 10. El propietario y la responsable son encantadores y siempre dispuestos a ayudar, excepcionales. Puedes pedir comida que te traen enseguida, super rica y bien de precio.

La calle por la que accedes, actualmente esta en obras porque están edificando otra casa lindando con esta. El olor de la nevera cuando llegamos, supongo porque los inquilinos anteriores dejaron comida en la nevera durante tiempo y cuando la abrias olia mal. Pero esto no tiene porque ocurrir a otros inquilinos. La casa está en mitad de selva, puedes ver hasta monos es normal que tenga mosquito y moscas.

El lugar es perfecto, limpio, cuidado y confortable

Para los viajeros sin vehículo esta lejos de el nido pero teníamos nuestro propio coche y realmente es mejor estar lejos de el nido playa. Demasiado estresante. Lejos son 5 minutos.

Matt the host was very responsive and helpful . The house is lovely and very tastefully done it’s close to town and Lio beach easy to access everything .

Owner is very helpful and nice with their guests. They were at our arrival and at departure. Owner made all she can to support us for other local services excluded from their perimeter, but did it to be nice and supportive. Villa is great for 4 people with cleaning done every day. Swiming pool availabe as well as nice terrasse for your breakfast or dinner.

My group of 4 liked everything and no negative remark. just a positive advice would be to set a panel indicating "Calao Villa" and also to provide in advance to the guest which indication to give to the tuk tuk. (exemple: small street next to S&K hotel)

L’hôte est très sympa et nous a donné plein de bonnes adresses pour notre séjour sur El Nido.

C’est un peu loin du centre, il faut toujours se déplacer en tuk tuk et à 4 c’est souvent 2 tuk tuk à chaque fois.

Casa meravigliosa, interni bellissimi barbecue esterno e piscina sotto un albero meraviglioso. Spazio di parcheggio molto sicuro se si noleggiano gli scooter! Personale gentilissimo e anche il proprietario

Вилата е разположена на страхотно място. Тихо и спокойно. Може да се насладиш на уединение, далеч от шума на града. Има всички удобства за готвене, както и барбекю и собствен басейн. Собственикът Мат е чудесен, даде ни ценни съвети и насоки какво да посетим и какви екскурзии да резервираме. Всеки ден идваше персонал да почиства стаите, както двора и басейнът. За да посетите градът или плажът наблизо е необходимо да наемете скутер или да спрете триколка на пътя, ние ползвахме триколки. Нито един път не се наложи да чакаме, тъй като те постоянно минават и е доста удобно - ще ви струва около 150-250 песос. Благодарим ти, Мат! Надяваме се да имаме възможността да посетим вила Calao поне още веднъж!

eine wundervolle, saubere und ruhige Unterkunft außerhalb von El Nido, die wir von herzen nur empfehlen können. Für sämtliche Fragen stand uns Mat zu jeder Tageszeit zur Verfügung und hat wirklich schnell geantwortet. Uns wurde ein Roller zur Unterkunft durch Mats organisationstalent geliefert und auch zu sämtlichen Fragen bzgl. Tauchen, Ausflügen, Restaurants, Wäschereien und direkt co. weiter geholfen. Wir waren unheimlich glücklich hier ein paar Tage zu verbringen und rundum glücklich. Ein Roller ist empfehlenswert, es kann aber an der Hauptstraße jeder Zeit auch ein Tuktuk angehalten werden, wenn man sich selbst nicht zutraut zu fahren. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Kleinigkeiten wie Getränke und Snacks in lauf weite, größere Shops in ca. 1km Entfernung. Wenn diese Unterkunft frei ist sollte dich nichts abhalten hier zu buchen ;) Du wirst dich garantiert wohl fühlen. Die Hühner von denen viele sprachen waren bei uns kaum zu hören, oder sie haben uns einfach nicht gestört. ;) EL Nido ca. 5min. fahrt.

Der Regen ist kräftig und laut auf dem Blechdach, aber hierfür wurden Ohropax zur Verfügung gestellt. Danke! <3

The villa is an newly built house with two nice bedrooms and one bathroom - great to share with friends! Extremely friendly host Mat who was taking so good care of us and provided everything we needed for our stay 👌

Only the roosters of the neighbourhood are an bit annoying but that’s nothing you can blame the host for 😅

What I really liked about the property was the pool, the beautiful outdoor space, and the privacy it offers. The host was also excellent — very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.

On the downside, there was a minor issue with the cleanliness of the villa, and the toilet gave us some trouble. Also, be aware that the property is not located directly on the main road — you’ll need to walk at least 50 meters on a dirt road with your luggage

Mat was an amazing host, he was extremely responsive and helpful when it came to any questions I had about the property. He greeted us upon arrival and also brought our bags down to the villa (it had just been raining so the long driveway was a little muddy). He thoroughly explained the property as well as great activities to do in town. It was so nice to have the private pool aswell which is maintained by the staff each day so it is in pristine condition. Overall the stay was superb we felt very at home here, would stay again. If you don’t have your own scooter it can be slightly more difficult (not impossible though) to hail a tricyle from the highway in the evening to go towards town. They do come by but often already have passengers. You can grab whatsapp details off a local tricycle driver if you like them and ask them to come pick you up at a specific time however will be at a slightly higher rate. We didn’t have any issues though, it just took a little longer than in the day time.

We loved the villa. It's located in a quiet place near the airport. The lady, her name is Sha, was very helpful. She met us when we arrived in the evening, and recommended a place for dinner and helped us to rent a bike which was delivered the next morning. The outside area was quite big and nice, the pool was big and clean. The villa inside was super clean, there was Netflix on TV. The cleaning staff came every day to clean the area and the pool, and they always sent us a message to make sure if it's ok if they come at this time. Thanks for respecting out privacy! Sha always asked if there is something she could help us with, thank you so much!

The only thing I would add is warm blankets. Even though it's warm, when we sleep with AC on, it's more comfortable to have a blanket, instead of the bedsheet we had.

Mat is terrific. I can't think how he could have been better for us - helpful, available, well informed....perfect host. My dialogue with him before our stay was also 100% truthful. Really excellent. The house is in very good shape, clearly built by a westerner (Mat) with good taste. And all amenities. It was also well located for us - near the main road, and near both to El Nido town and to the Lio resort.

The pool is small, and needs a paint (or tiles) so doesn't feel very attractive. This - combined with the fact that we were out most of the time - meant that we scarcely used the outside area.

Our host- Matt - is extremely helpful. He helped us with organizing renting of motorbikes, diving activity and storing of luggage. Matt is very communicative person. His house is very convenient and we fully recommend this place.

Great private property, very romantic. So closer and convenient to El Nido town and Lio beach. Locals very friendly. The house was very clean, staff were very accomodating, daily cleaning. Host helped us with alot of recommended activities

In a nutshell, Mathieu’s the all time best host one can ever have to chance to have, very professional, quite available and willing to help as well as a great source of recommendations to lurk around El Nido (he basically knows everyone & everywhere). Also, the villa is just breathtaking, neat & have every single thing a group of people may need to have the greatest confort. I extremely recommend !
