Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Excellente expérience dans cet hôtel ! Le personnel nous a très bien accueillis. Nous avons eu une chambre grande et confortable. Nous voyagions à vélo et avons beaucoup apprécié qu’on nous permette de rentrer nos vélos à l’intérieur. Nous avons aussi été très agréablement surpris par le calme de la chambre. Comme l’hôtel se trouve au bord d’une nationale, nous nous attendions à entendre du bruit, mais c’était tout l’inverse : silencieux ! J’ai vraiment très bien dormi. Nous n’avons pas testé le petit-déjeuner ni le repas du soir, mais si nous repassons dans le coin, nous le ferons avec plaisir. Rien à redire !

le petit-déjeûner pas assez varié et plus de légumes devraient être proposés, pour les végétariens aimant manger plutôt salé , mais rien qui ait gâché notre séjour.

Het hotel is wat gedateerd. De kamer was schoon maar de ontbijt zaal iets minder. Desondanks dat, was het goed vertoeven. Wij zijn hier maar 1 nacht geweest.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026Prachtige ligging rondom rond omgeven door mooie uitzichten. Grote kamers, verzorgd ontbijt en vriendelijke gastvrouw. Koffie en thee op de kamer. Hond was welkom. Goede matras maar het bed wiebelde heel erg omdat de poten los stonden.
Op de menukaart(gezien op google dus weet niet of het klopt) van het restaurant staan hele speciale gerechten en hoewel ik ervan overtuigd ben dat het van hoog niveau is en voortreffelijk klaargemaakt, is het niet ons ding. Jammer dat er niet enkele 'normale' gerechten opstaan en wij dus buitenshuis moesten gaan eten terwijl we eigenlijk echt wel graag daar gegeten hadden omdat het er zo gezellig is en ook gewoon gemakkelijk...

Reviewed Sep 14, 2025Zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse, schone kamer, heerlijk ruikende handdoeken, gezellig restaurant en het gastromische eten is fantastisch. Niet voor niets hebben ze een bib gourmand gekregen dit jaar. Wij zullen zeker vaker langs gaan komen als we op doorreis zijn.
Niets, behalve misschien een betere aanduiding van het restaurant-hotel op de N4 vanuit Bastenaken in ons geval.

er viel niets tegen. moet wel opmerken dat voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn problemen kunnen ontstaan. oud hotel zonder lift met vrij steile trappen. er werd alleen frans gesproken, maar dat is kenmerkend voor Wallonië en voor ons geen probleem.

The bed was a bit too soft for us, and it was difficult to get there by bicycle (need to cross the dual carriageway).

Zeer zeer gedateerde ouwe meuk. Eiken meubelen, geverfde muren om het wat op te leuken. Allemaal prima bedoeld maar echt meer van deze tijd. Foto’s op internet suggereren anders en reviews zijn meer op het restaurant gericht (denk ik nu achteraf). Slecht tot geen Wifi. Locatie is ver buiten een stad of dorp maar dat wisten we wel vooraf. Vriendelijk personeel, schone kamers maar zeer gedateerd.

We kregen een kamer op de tweede verdieping, helemaal aan het eind en moesten daarvoor 4 trappen op met een hond die dit eng vond. Volgens de mevrouw aan de balie was het hotel vol, dus er was geen andere kamer. Wij hebben ons hele verblijf maar één andere gast gezien, in het hotel (het andere deel). Dat vonden we wel vreemd. Het leek of we alleen in het hotel waren.

It was the perfect location for my dog as the grounds were spacious and free roaming. The food was incredible! I can't recall having a better meal in recent times.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2022Very large room and bathroom. Nice view from the bedroom widows to the countryside below. Very quiet rural area but with excellent access to the N4 Highway. Restaurant was reasonable and the food was very good. Plentiful parking space all around the exterior of the hotel and restaurant.
European hotels offer generous bath towels and hand-drying towels but for some reason rarely provide wash clothes in the bathrooms. This would be a simple addition to affect fine service.
