It was relaxed, and a great location. Cao Sun Dai helped me a lot and made sure my stay was great.

it was in walking distance of the Shanghai Railway Station, it was clean and comfortable, everyone was friendly and helpful. I am especially grateful to Xiao Cao who helped accommodate my dietary needs (celiac, gluten free) for the breakfast!

The staff were very helpful. Especially Tina Geng was very helpful in consulting me.

I found the toilet to sometimes have a slight smell to it, which is most likely due to a loose or brocken seal.

The property was very clean, well-equipped, and just a 10-minute walk to the metro. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast was pretty good. Air conditioning was great! Both the WiFi and water pressure was alright too.

The soundproofing isn't the best

For someone unfamiliar with the area, the people living there are very warm and helpful，specially staff Zhang. Additionally, the hotel facilities are all new, very clean, and I even made a new friend. I look forward to coming to China again.

El confort de la habitación fue genial, muy limpio, bien equipada la habitación, las zonas comunes muy bonitas, buen servicio al cliente, me gustaría volver.

1. Friendly staff at reception who can speak English 2. The room had everything i needed including a mini fridge 3. Free water and soft drinks in the room every day 4. My private room was a nice size and clean and tidy 5. Nice common area where you can sit - plenty of power outlets where you could plug your laptop etc. Most people seem to be on their devices and didn't really talk to each other, which was fine with me as it meant the hostel was nice and quiet. 6. Within walking distance of Shanghai rail station, which was useful for me when i wanted to catch a train to Beijing. Also close to the metro.

1. The free breakfast included with my booking wasn't particularly impressive (2 bits of toast, egg and sausage) but can't really complain when it's free. I chose to skip it on the other 2 days of my stay given i had to leave early but didn't feel like i missed out on much.

I stayed in a single room and was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and quality.

Unfortunately, the room was very noisy. You can hear the elevator every time it is used, as well as people walking and talking on the floor. In the morning, the cleaning noise (doors opening and closing) is also quite noticeable. It would be great if the hostel could improve the sound insulation. In addition, the staff (especially the ladies) could be more professional and welcoming.

The room was clean, Special thanks to Xiao Cao, who was incredibly thoughtful, friendly, and always ready to help with anything anyone needed. The service was top-notch and made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended in Shanghai.

Super comfy place, great place to socialize. I love the rooftop space as well. You get to do your laundry, work out a bit, or just take in the buildings around you.

Upon check-in, the front desk staff were professional and provided detailed explanations, and they speak English. The rooms are very clean, with individual lockers for each guest. The bathroom cleaning staff perform daily cleaning. Additionally, the first floor offers a selection of cocktails, beverages, and beer. Transportation is also convenient.

The reception staff are fantastic!! I chose this hostel as it was my first stay in China and I anticipated that I might need some help getting my bearings. The reception staff were excellent - particular thanks to May and Winni who were excellent!!

Was a bit out of the way and not the most social place but still fairly central and close to several metro lines so the location was not a very big deal

So clean and comfortable - felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Although there was a common room area for socializing. Great value.

There are cuter areas of Shanghai with more restaurants and cafes. But didi/taxi was cheap to those areas.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The place itself is solid, but the staff is what made it great. Big shoutout to Winni, Luogeng, and Liufan. They were insanely kind, super helpful, and just good people to be around. Every interaction felt genuine and they went out of their way to make the stay easier.

Das Hostel liegt zu Fuß ca 10-15min von der Shanghai Station oder nächsten Metro Station entfernt. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer, das sehr geräumig war. Die Betten waren zwar härter aber bequem. Es gab jeden Tag frische Handtücher, Haartrockner war vorhanden, auch unterschiedliche Steckdosen (zusätzlich zu den unterschiedlichen Typen auch USB Lademöglichkeiten). Es hat mir gut gefallen. Das Einzige was man evtl bemängeln könnte, ist dass es etwas hellhörig ist und das Frühstück recht übersichtlich. Ansonsten gerne wieder.

Der Schlafsaal war sehr sauber.

Beim Auschecken wurde mir ein Getränk für eine Bewertung angeboten.Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption legte hierfür einen Zettel mit seinem Namen auf die Theke. Ich lehnte ab, ich bin nicht käuflich.

The bathroom smells to sewer, was very disgusting. The room was clean but the smell was really bad. Is very expensive for what they offer. I got a private room and was charged 350 RMB. Don’t include a breakfast or coffee.

L’établissement se situe à une quinzaine de minute à pieds d’une station de métro puis il faut compter une grosse demi heure pour rejoindre le centre ville. Les chambres sont très bien.

Les sanitaires pourraient être nettoyées un peu mieux.

the room i got was so messy because of the 3 other girls, who occupied 7 beds. no fault to the staff because they wouldn’t have known. they checked the room in the morning after i told them to! female toilet - sink, floor and showers were filthy from 3-1030am

The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. The best thing is the staff. The girls on reception went above and beyond. They were as good as a concierge in a 5 star hotel. Special thanks to Winni!

Great hostel. Great staff. Great value for money. The bunk beds had curtains. The dorm rooms had very good air conditioning. The girls at front reception were efficient and courteous. They both spoke English clearly and communicated well. The group relaxation areas were large enough with plenty of comfortable coffee table and dining table seating. The entire hostel is very well designed. Also, there is a team of cleaners working throughout the days and nights to keep everything spotless. This is definitely one of the best organised and cleanest hostels I've ever stayed in. Also... I like how they provided the clean packaged sheets and covers as well as nice slippers when checking in. The hostel is also in an area with plenty of access to small local restaurants.

Tout était très correct et confortable. Les personnes de la réception, May et Zhang m’ont renseigné plusieurs adresses avec professionnalisme et exactitude. Elles sont très aimables. L’auberge est vraiment très conviviale et confortable. Je recommande d’y séjourner.

The hostel is exactly as described The 4-bed female dorm was good size, just a little far from the restroom but I was at the end of corridor which was very quiet and comfortable Bed is also comfortable and the spaces are clean Restrooms and showers are good size and cleaned daily The location is 12 min walk from the metro station And the staff was very nice and kind Special thanks to Xue for the kindness and hospitality!

It could have a mirror inside the room And the restrooms might need more attention on cleaning Of course due to some guests not following the instructions (not for lack of cleaning itself)

The stay was fantastic. The facilities are comprehensive and quite new. The common area on the first floor is great – perfect for chatting with new friends and watching movies in the evening. The front desk staff provided excellent service, especially Xiao Wu, who was very helpful.

In my room there were always people snoring, it’s not the hostel’s fault but if you snore please book a private room!

Ontbijt was voldoende, personeel erg aardig en behulpzaam. Zeker Yu (in de nacht heeft hij ervoor gezorgd dat ik met de taxi weg kon, omdat mijn Ali pay weer eens niet werkte). De locatie is gezellig en om de hoek begint dit al met kleine restaurants en winkels. Veel gasten uit Azie, China en niet zo veel uit Europa.

The gym cannot even be defined as a gym: ridiculous. Noisy common area too close to the rooms.

Very comfy self-contained room with a comfy double bed and great air conditioning that made the daily heat a lot more bearable. Daily quick cleans and top up of the free soda and water was also a bonus! Helpful and friendly staff available anytime at the main counter. Close to both bus routes and a train station that connects you to any major/popular spot in the city
