the road you need a 4 x 4 or a big truck not a car
Amazing villa. Private beach. Quite location. Fantastic host.
A bit challenging to get to the property from the main road.
The place is beautiful and the having an awesome view through the door to the beach side. Inside decor is stylish and have all the facilities you might need to use.
The path to the property is kinda challenging to walk as it is very bumpy road and can get muddy too after the rain. Next to that the shower and toliet of the house is in the back garden outside, the door cannot be fully locked in the night and also there are mosquitoes and other bugs when using the toliet and shower.
The view the room, it was clean big and modern. Your view in front was the beach, it was relaxing
The beach was not amazing to swimm.
We absolutely loved it, perfect location, tucked away with private beach access, yet not too from restaurants and cafes. Great for couples looking for a romantic getaway.
Nothing to complain about it, road was a little bumpy and there is some construction close by, get the isolation while it lasts !
The room and the facilities are good
Location. It’s far from everything. The road to the villa is muddy. Air conditioning isn’t too cold (mind you the villa is big. 1 air conditioning isn’t enough to get the whole room cool). The power on the area is on and off and the villa doesn’t have any power back up. If I didn’t push on getting a hold of the host we won’t have any candles to atleast use as light.
Could start listing the things we did like in the villa and our stay in it, but more convenient to say that everything was amazing. Villa is located in peaceful, quiet area with an unbelievable garden and beach. Very clean and stylish, has everything that is needed, making stay much comfortable and pleasant. Everyone being so supportive and responsive (thank you so much, Adrian and the team!) Wish to go back!
A stunning villa, tastefully designed, includes a tiny kitchenette for preparing small meals, away from the mess in General Luna, located in Santa Fe on a white and quiet beach. The driveway is dirt and not paved, so you have to take into account that it will be difficult for tuktuks to enter and they will drop you off on the road, a 3 minute walk is not bad at all.
1. It's a shame they didn't take care of who to drink every day, it would have saved us carrying the bottles. 2. It would have been nice to add 2 deckchairs on the beach 3. The air conditioner is not strong enough, so during the afternoon it is very hot in the villa.
The villa was finished to a high standard, and the beach at the end of the garden is a must see. Adrian was a fantastic host.
The location is great for a quiet stay with a private beach however, if you’re not comfortable getting a motorbike or undeveloped roads this might be a problem.
Private, clean and good access. Adrian was really helpfull as well as the family next door. Will definitely recomend and be back when possible. Thank you guys ♥️
The environment was really beautiful and the villa itself was really comfortable and a treat to be in. The views of the beach directly from the room where fantastic. All staff was very attentive and accommodating.
The location is a little bit out of the way, and the road to get there was not illuminated and muddy, so getting to and from the villa at night was a bit inconvenient.
The place was amazing, with private beach, private entrance.
The service man was awful. Everytime we needed him for the villa he wasn't available. There's no generator because the electricity in Siargao.
very nice!
I think there need dust room everyday for free.
This is a beautiful property, and our host was brilliant, anything we needed was arranged without any fuss, it is in a private and secluded area, and yet close to the town which has many fine restaurants, the access road into the property is definitely an adventure, especially on a scooter, but overall we loved every minute of our stay.
The villa was excellent. Everything was more than fine, down to the last detail. What a friendly host, really nice to stay here. Beautiful bathroom, nice shower, wonderful bed where you can also watch Netflix (handy if you are still in the rainy season) beautiful sunset, nice place to learn how to surf, relax in peace and yet only 15 minutes from the crowds in General Luna. By the way, it was the best place to get engaged ;) We will never forget this magical place and the nice gift we received from the host!
The only flaw of the vila is the way to it. Here you definitely need a scooter. Tricycles are not a fan of riding this road..
Everything! This place is incredible & I honestly cannot wait to come back. From the beaaaautiful facilities, to the wonderful hosts, to the VIEW! My goodness... the view! Don't miss out on this place.
Everything was perfect. There is not one thing I would change.
If you are looking for an exceptional, quiet place to stay, then this is where you should go! The villa was truely amazing! So many nice, small details (wooden doors, nice scent, so much space, loved the two showers inside and outside and the bathroom in general with all the plants, and much more), and a very comfortable bed. The view is breathtaking and the beach is certainly one of the nicest ones on the whole island - almost just for yourself! We even had a surfing lesson with the onsite house manager Adrian, starting right in front of the house! We have in the meantime looked for other similar hotels or places on the Philippines and couldn't find anything comparable with this price. We also got good support before arriving on the island on how to get to the villa. Although the path from the main road to the villa (about 300 metres) can get very wet with puddles, we managed to drive there by ourselves with a scooter which we rented in the city centre. Adrian and Angel would have also helped to organise a car to drive us to the villa if we didn't want to drive a scooter ourselves. A scooter is also very good to get around the island, as in the small town where the villa is close by doesn't have as many restaurants to offer as the main place for tourists (general luna). But again, nothing negative here, just depends on what you actually look for. All in all, we highly recommend staying here!
The property itself is beautiful. You get to live alone in a beach front property. Sleep with the music of the ocean waves hit the shores. The beach area is also good for surfing. The owner is also accommodating with our concerns.
1. The location - it was our bad that we didn't check the location. This is almost 10 kms away from the town proper. If you don't rent a bike, you will have difficulty going out at night to dine and part at GL town proper. You'll have to pay 250 pesos per way for special tricycle trip, not to mention, wait at the road to get a transpo. Also, from the main road going to the property, this is 500 meters away. During rainy season, which was the season during our trip, tricycles won't agree to drop us off right at the property's doorstep because the internal road is not passable 2. Albeit the hosts were very accommodating, I didn't appreciate that we are charged for 400 pesos for a mug that we broke. That mug was the storage holder of utensils. It was an accident that it got broke. But I'm concerned why it's made or ceramic and stored in a very high place, like above head height. The more concerning part is the charge. 400 pesos. Really??? In addition, during our second night, the drinking water bottles were not refilled. Imagine, going back to the property tired from a tour and there's no drinking water. This is despite the arrangement was the water will be refilled every morning. I made a suggestion to just give us a 5-gallon water so that we have ample supply of drinking water. It's not out of whims that we requested this, we can buy at the store. But the nearest store is almost a kilomoter away. 3. Electricity and wifi connectivity - a day prior our check out, there's power outage from 5AM to 6PM. Since this is a beachfront property, it wasn't that hot. However, my concern is on the water. Due to power outage, the supply of water was also out. It could have been better if the owner upon knowing the situation (in fact, the residents of Siargao were pre-advised of the power outage), provided us big water containers to fill before the power outage.
The villa is amazing with the most beautiful view to wake up to! Very comfortable bed, clean bathroom, a flatscreen with Netflix… Everything you can dream of! The host is also very communicative and he was always around asking if we needed something :)
Be aware that the road to the villa is in very bad condition, so be careful when driving there. A sign indicating the path to the villa would also be nice in the future.
Every once in a while you find a truly exceptional place to stay. This villa is one of those. It is secluded and is directly on the beach with very few people around. A must try villa for anyone looking to have serenity and peace. The villa also featured a kitchenette.
