Amazing location with fantastic views. Charming host whose older relatives live on site. We had a superb lunch at the restaurant on the day we left. A truly special place to stay.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist traumhaft inmitten der Weinberge im Dourotal. Aus unserer Sicht ist es perfekt zum erholen. Wir haben es nach Porto und vor Lissabon eingebaut und überlegen wieder hinzufahren! Jorge, der Besitzer, spricht gut deutsch und ist sehr sympathisch. Seine Mutter ist ebenfalls unglaublich angenehm und nett. Wir durften seinen Wein und Portwein probieren und jeweils eine Flasche hat er mir verkauft.

Wenn ich mehr als eine Flasche von deinem leckeren Portwein hätte kaufen wollen, hätte er mir vielleicht nicht mehr verkauft da Jorge nur für den Eigenverbrauch und Freunde anbaut… 🤩

Wir hatten einen absolut perfekten Aufenthalt (14Tage). Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam und sorgen jeden Tag dafür, das man den Aufenthalt geniessen kann und sich willkommen fühlt. Das traditionell portugiesisch gekochte Essen und der Wein schmecken phantastisch! Die Aussicht vom Ferienhaus ist traumhaft. Der eigene Pool mit Aussicht ist natürlich ebenfalls ein Highlight. Vielen Dank für alles! Wir kommen gern wieder.

L'hébergement se trouve au milieu des vignes, les couchers de soleil sont un vrai plaisir. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles, Un très bon moment partagé à la table de la quinta. Bref, nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre amis avec chacun sa chambre.

Peut être l'odeur de fumée dans le salon provenant de la cheminée.

O senhor Jorge e a sua família receberam-nos com uma simpatia e amabilidade genuínas, daquelas cada vez mais difíceis de encontrar. Como estávamos a celebrar um aniversário em família, pedi a gentileza de prepararem um pequeno bolo surpresa e um pequeno-almoço para a manhã do dia seguinte, pedido ao qual acederam prontamente com toda a disponibilidade e carinho. Estava tudo delicioso! De referir também que tivemos ainda a oportunidade de jantar num espaço particular que a quinta dispõe para os seus hóspedes. Serviram-nos um jantar simplesmente maravilhoso: repleto de produtos caseiros de enorme qualidade e preparados com muito cuidado. Sem dúvida nenhuma um lugar ao qual queremos muito voltar, desta vez durante mais dias e com mais sol, para podermos desfrutar melhor da piscina e de todo o espaço.

It was too cold. The temperature outside in the evening was higher than in the property and the only option is to heat it by using AC in the room, however AC can’t heat the corridors or kitchen:( Also it feels like this place needs a good ventilation

Acomodação conforme descrita nas fotos. Lugar com vista incrível e recepção excelente de Jorge. Jantamos no restaurante com menu completo e tudo estava divino. Super recomendo.

Apenas a água do chuveiro não estava tão quente e eram duchas de banho. O resto tudo excelente.

Casa muito bem equipada. Com ar condicionado em todas as divisões. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelo Sr. Jorge! Um cuidado extremo e muito amável.

Lovely place in the heart of Portugal, What a cheerful and kind welcome from the owners. Everything was incredible. I recommend this dog friendly place, and please, If you stay over there, go and visit the ' miradouro de são Leonardo ' and then drive to Provesende. Amazing place to stay. Loved it and will repeat.

Uma das melhores experiências que já tivemos! Como família apaixonada por boa comida e pela natureza, decidimos passar um fim de semana prolongado tranquilo na bela região do Douro, apenas com a intenção de relaxar e desfrutar de boa gastronomia. A Quinta da Laceira, gerida pelo Jorge e pela sua família, superou todas as nossas expectativas. Receberam-nos com a maior simpatia e foram incrivelmente atenciosos e prestáveis durante toda a estadia. A comida estava absolutamente deliciosa, autêntica, tradicional e preparada com muito carinho. A casa é perfeita para grupos grandes, espaçosa, acolhedora e cheia de opções de entretenimento. Com um pouco de sol, ainda conseguimos dar um mergulho refrescante na piscina! Diria que esta casa é ideal em qualquer estação do ano, seja para uma escapadinha acolhedora de inverno ou umas férias ensolaradas de verão. Mal podemos esperar para voltar!

Brilliant location with stupendous views. Quite remote but with the friendly, helpful family living on-site the location felt safe. We had luch on one day in the on-site restaurant. George (who had been a restauranteur), hosted. The 'typical' portuguese food (mains - salted cod) was great. The wines - all Quinta da Laceira wines were surprisingly excellent (both whites & both reds) - well-made & good examples of the huge range of wine the Duoro offers.

Foam mattresses & pillows resulted in poor sleep quality. We don't like cats so took measures to avoid them getting into the kitchen & sleeping areas. The cats didn't learn so we had to keep the door closed nearly all the time.

The property is huge , good for big families,very quiet area where you can enjoy the fresh air and the amazing view they have and also the pool and surrounding is great. The owners are very polite and friendly and also very welcoming. We had the opportunity to speak with all of them and it was great experience,I definitely recommend this place and we will be back again.

Wunderschön gelegen. Herrliches geräumiges Haus mit tollem Pool und Ausblick in die Berge. Es war einfach alles da, was man braucht, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir wurden super herzlich empfangen und unser Hund auch. Die Vermieter sind bezaubernd gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles top gewesen! Wunderschön!

Estava tudo ótimo e fomos bem recebidos. A casa tem todas as comidades e está bem equipada, mas nós não conseguimos usufruir muito dela porque utilizamos unicamente para dormir.

A localização era o que esperávamos. Sítio calmo para descansar, e estar com amigos, e as crianças poderem brincar á vontade. Um sítio sem dúvida a voltar com mais dias para lá ficar.

Adoramos a hospitalidade das pessoas que nos receberam, muito prestáveis foram nos dando uns miminhos durante a estadia! A vista e o lugar eram otimos para descansar e relaxar, a casa é grande e tem ar condicionado o que ajudou a manter tudo fresco! Soube a pouco... voltava não só pela estadia como pela comida, servem umas refeições otimas no edificio ao lado da casa (restaurante familiar). Recomendo 😊😊

Geweldig huis op een geweldige locatie. Lieve gastheren/ gastvrouwen die je een warm welkom gaven. Op de laatste dag eten besteld, wat werd geserveerd op de veranda van het huis met damast tafelkleed en heerlijke wijn. Wij gaan zeker nog een keertje terugkomen! In ieder geval over twee jaar met de druivenpluk 😀

Las vistas, la zona de la piscina y porche y los dos gatitos

Cuando llegamos los trabajadores y unos niños estaban utilizando las instalaciones (la piscina y la casa), no sabemos si viven allí pero no se fueron de las instalaciones pese a haber reservado la casa completa. Todo el día controlando lo que hacíamos. No había agua! No pudimos ducharnos. Había cortes de agua. La nevera no enfriaba. El menaje insuficiente y todo sucio. La casa huele a humedad. No había almohadas para todas y las camas eran incómodas. Las tumbonas estaban rotas. En la zona de la piscina estaba llenas de cristales. Nos sorprende que tenga tan buena puntuación.

Beautiful house and surroundings. Very friendly hosts, very caring and always checking whether we were missing anything. Very peaceful place, perfect to recharge and enjoy time with family and/or friends. I would like to go back! :)

The pool was still a bit too cold for us to go for a deep, but should be perfect for hot summer days. :)

The home is situated on a beautiful view hillside surrounded by grapevines. We were there for 3 nights. It is a family run agrotourismo, and they could not have been more welcoming. The house itself was spotlessly clean. Jorge welcomed us and showed us the property. We had the whole house to ourselves, with a complete kitchen. We decided to have our dinners at the Quinta, which was a good choice as the roads are curvy for our American driving style. We brought our own charcuterie one night, and another night we were able to have our dinner prepared by the Quinta owners. It was a delicious Portuguese meal from appetizers through fish and vegetables, steak and potatoes, desserts and wine. Amazing. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and walking the 2 mile rural lane with views all around. This is a special place, and we thank the family for sharing it with us!

Most beautiful setting overlooking the vineyards, it was good for the soul. Hosts were outstanding and very friendly. Went as far as supplying us with ice in the evening and in the morning dropping off fresh rolls with no extra cost. Felt we got the real Portuguese experience with interesting trinkets filling the home. Accommodation super comfortable and clean and suitable for larger number of guests. Would not hesitate in returning to this home.

Perfect place to stay while visiting the Douro valley. Big house, seperate bedrooms, full equiped kithen, pool, bbq place. The host is very helpful and friendly.

Great rural location. Relatively easy to find. Host's dad was there to meet us. When we were there the weather was cold but in summer, the large pool would be very relaxing. Large house with 4 double bedrooms (2 with ensuites). Dinner in the evening (several courses) by the host's mother. Big kitchen so we cooked our breakfast in the house.

Water pressure average. Remind them to turn the water heating on early, otherwise a lukewarm shower.

Staying at the vineyard was an exquisite experience. The location offered stunning views, and the pool added to the charm. The hosts were incredibly friendly, hospitable, making us feel right at home. Not to mention, the wine and olive oil were exceptional, adding an extra layer of delight to our stay. We will back.

Beautiful place with breathtaking view! The owners are really warm, warm people. I recommend to try porto wine which is amazing! The Villa is big, enough space for even group of ten. Great big kitchen with massive supplies, neverending wood for fireplace and pool for Hortex days. Perfect place to stay!

Very cold, the heating system was turned off. A lot of hairs on the bed, it was disgusting.

All the facilities are perfect and clean. The perperty owner is kind and nice. My family and I enjoyed to stay there with the wonderful countryside. We will come back in next time.

The place is wonderful! Quite secluded in the middle of vineyards area provides you with great views and lots of space to rest. We used barbecue space, swimming pool and hottub, plus enjoyed a nice dinner in the spacious tarrace. The house is very big, clean, and has everything you need.
