Casa Familiar - Maria de las Palmas -Getsemani

Mi experiencia en esta vivienda ha sido muy negativa y, sinceramente, no puedo recomendarla en su estado actual. Para empezar, tuve un problema ya antes de llegar. El propietario había publicado la vivienda con un precio que, según él, era incorrecto. En lugar de asumir el error, canceló la reserva que yo ya había realizado para volver a ofrecerme la vivienda a un precio superior. Finalmente, gracias a un descuento de última hora de Booking, conseguí reservarla incluso por un precio inferior, pero considero que la gestión por parte del propietario fue muy poco profesional. A la llegada, además, se exige un depósito de 1.000.000 de pesos colombianos. No llegué a dejarlo porque, al entrar en la vivienda, comprobé el estado en el que se encontraba. La casa necesita claramente una puesta a punto y un mantenimiento importante. Hay mosquitos por toda la vivienda. La claraboya del salón está rota y no se puede cerrar correctamente, y la puerta del salón tiene un hueco por el que también entran. Durante toda la estancia tuve problemas constantes con los mosquitos y tuve que comprar insecticida. La situación llegó al punto de que prácticamente no se podía utilizar el salón y había que permanecer dentro de las habitaciones para evitar las picaduras. La cocina estaba en unas condiciones de limpieza muy deficientes. Los utensilios y cacharros estaban sucios y tuve que avisar al propietario para que enviara a una persona a limpiarlos. El lavavajillas tampoco funciona y parece llevar bastante tiempo fuera de servicio. Hay también problemas de mantenimiento: la ducha del baño situado en la zona central de la casa está rota y el agua sale hacia todos los lados. La vivienda no dispone prácticamente de espacio para guardar la ropa: no hay armarios y únicamente se deja una percha por habitación. El equipamiento básico también es muy deficiente. No había jabón en ninguno de los baños, ni productos básicos de higiene para los huéspedes.

A beautiful apartment on a quiet side street but very close to all the action. Comfortable beds, a lovely bowl of fruit to welcome us and very clean.

The way that the front door locks is not ideal for a group as to keep it closed or had to be bolted from one side but then could not be opened from the other side.

Lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación, la limpieza, la recepción con canasta de frutas y los chocolates. El lugar tiene su identidad propia, una disposición poco común. Tener 3 baños uno para cada habitación es genial. Muy buen diseño. Una combinación muy linda entre modernidad y lo colonial.

Lugar con poco mantenimiento. La terraza poco se puede aprovechar El hidromasaje estaba con agua sucia con verdín y no funcionaba la bomba de filtrado. Las plantas secas, el cañizo de la terraza viejo y arruinado.. En 2 baños la temperatura del agua caliente era escasa, pedimos que la reajustaran y nunca pasó. El único televisor de la sala es obsoleto, se ve violeta toda la imagen. Faltaría un lavarropas. El equipamiento de la vajilla es escaso. El precio sería adecuado con todo funcional en perfecto estado. Con lo que nos encontramos se nos hizo muy caro por lo que ofrece. El alojamiento es bueno, pero deberían readecuar fotos y valores o reacondicionar lo que no funciona bien.

Great space in Getsemani with great aircon - a must in cartagena. the communal space and outdoor kitchen was perfect for what we needed, and the added terrace space was also a nice option to chill.

towels were bad quality and almost all you could put a finger through with little force. Could have done with a few more cleaning products/ wipes, tea towels, bin bags etc. but other than this very good

The location was perfect and the property had incredible charm. Exactly what we were looking for!

What a hidden gem! Beautiful place to be in. The house is at a quiet street, and has a great living room with a/c to cool down in the hot days. We loved the soft beds and especially the sheets so much that we looked for the brand. Go here and you will love it!

La casa es muy bonita y cómoda

Nos encantó lo bonito que estaba todo decorado y la tranquilidad que se sentía con todo el bullicio que había fuera en el barrio.

Quizás podía estar un poquito más limpio sobre todo el sofá, pero camas y baños super limpios!

Muy bonito , centrado y limpio definitivamente volveré , la casa es más grande que en las fotos , la sala de estar es un espacio precioso, las habitaciones impecables, la terraza de arriba nos encantó, disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estadía

Es muy importante dejar saber a qué hora vas a hacer el check in , con el tráfico en Cartagena es un poco complicado, sería genial hacer un self check in , para evitar esperas o cualquier inconveniente

La casa es divina y las instalaciones estaban super limpias y comodas la ubicacion excelente, la atencion que nos dieron a la llegada y salida tambien muy buena la cocina cuenta con todo para cocinar y en buenas condiciones

los baños del fondo no tenian ventana seria buenisimo colocarles algo porque si se ve quien esta en el baño

Prachtige locatie en heel fijn om een heel huis voor jezelf te hebben. Keuken is goed toegerust. Fijne bedden, lekkere bank. Echt een plek om.tot rust te komen in deze warme stad.

Wij misten een theedoek in de keuken. Het zwembad was altijd warm doordat het heet was en troebel.

This place far exceeded our expectations and the photos do not do it justice! It is a haven just off the bustling streets of Getsemini - You shut the big secure door and all the noise disappears! The place is really big, beautifully decorated and the layout is great! My kids said “are you sure all of this is just for us?” - We would definitely book here if we ever visit Cartagena again!

Helaas was de douche niet heel warm

Geweldige locatie op wandelafstand van het oude centrum. Verrassend ingericht appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt. Het badje op het zonneterras was genieten!

Tijdens ons verblijf was er een kort probleem met de stroomvoorziening. Dit lag niet aan het appartement, maar kwam van het energiebedrijf.

Great location - quiet street which is difficult to find in Cartagena. Right across the street there’s a hotel that makes really good breakfast too.

Lacked a few amenities like trash bags and the hot water wasn’t hot. Based on the weather it was ok but still.

Location is excellent. The property is renovated and in general, the house is in good shape. AC worked well.

Property can benefit by providing shampoo and conditioner. It would be nice if the offered daily clean towels which are a necessity due to the humid climate. Stairs to the 2nd floor can be dangerous specially during the rain. No hot water in the two back rooms.

Great value for money stay in the best area of Cartagena, nice and quiet at nighttime, air cons worked really well. The rooftop plunge pool is nice to relax in, just be careful going back down the stairs as it gets slippery. We were a group of 5 adults and the property was nice and large and comfortable.

Great house, good location, perfect for a few days in Cartagena. Friendly and helpful host.

Location, furnitures, rooftop/terrace, comfortable beds and bathrooms. Really in the middle of Getsemani, without the noise of the movida. I would highly recommend to everyone.

The only minus is the fact that if you close the door while inside, nobody can enter autonomously (this impacted us being a group of friends).

The house has nothing bad

House is perfect for 4-6 people, a/c and warm water worked perfectly. Best location to explore cartagena. Everything is in walking distance. Just a few meters away is a little shop for water etc. Communication and coordination for the key safe with the owner was very uncomplicated on whats app.

Tino was very helpful with all his tips, we had a small briefing in the morning giving us the best spots in town

the home was clean and well designed. very Lovley.

the pool wasn’t treated or cleaned during the 5 day stay. it turned green on day 3 and was in usable. the home has live cameras filming you on the second floor hallway and in the living room. there was no notice about the cameras and after several days of my husband and myself walking around in our under clothing we noticed. total invasion of privacy!!!!’
