Prestation de médiocre qualité par rapport au prix et au visuel des photos. Appartement au dessus d un restaurant. Forte odeur de nourriture et marrée de assez désagréable au point de ne pas ouvrir les fenêtres. .

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Uns hat besonders die Lage des Apartments gefallen – alles war gut erreichbar und wir hatten einen schönen Blick auf die Bucht. Das Apartment war sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.
Bei starkem Wind haben einige Fenster und Türen durch den Luftzug geklappert bzw. geschlagen, auch wenn wir versucht haben, sie richtig zu schließen. Ansonsten waren wir mit dem Apartment sehr zufrieden.

Le lit de la chambre en rentrant à droite, le matelas n’est pas bon et s’affaisse. Le bruit a 2h30 par des gens non respectueux qui crient dans la cage d’escalier. Le manque d’étagères et rangements dans la salle de bain. Pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain

Parking was excellent and an elevator for my elderly mother who came on this trip with us- something I was grateful for. Would recommend to everyone.
Toilet seat was a little crooked but not enough to complain about, truly.

En arrivant , quand nous sommes arrivés , l’appartement qu’on nous avait désigné etait en renovation, la salle de bain était en reconstruction. Heureusement , notre hôte a réagit rapidement et il y avait un autre appartement de libre du même côté que nous avions demandé et nous avons gagné un étage supplémentaire pour la vue sur la riviere .

Reviewed Aug 31, 2025Loved being in the middle of town - & equally loved the gorgeous view over the estuary of Clifden Bay and surrounding hills. Very comfortable. And for those who have issues with stairs, there’s a very convenient lift.
Nothing not to like, but the pub next door can be pretty noisy, so if sleep is an issue or you don’t like Irish trad music, that could be a drawback.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2025The apartment was spacious for a group of four adults. It is located right in the centre of Clifden, close to pubs, shops and a supermarket, yet it was very quiet. The view of the river from the lounge window was superb. The place was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The amenities within the apartment allowed us to cater well for ourselves ( washing machine, dryer, kitchen). The decor was modern and appealing. Overall, it was an excellent place that I would return to.
There was nothing we did not like.

Sadly one of the bedrooms was above a commercial walk in freezer and humming from that disturbed sleep intermittently all through night. Patio door from lounge to communal balcony had no key so could be opened by anyone.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2024Apartment 2 @ClifdenAppartments was really lovely. Really cosy and comfy beds - with a great lounging area to settle into after the day. For us, we found September was a great time to visit - just after peak season, but still getting the buzz around the shops and pubs. Really good food options nearby between restaurants and pubs. Everything is within a leisurely strolling distance, including the new Steam cafe. Oh Lowrys bar was super as were the Seaweed baths - both are located next door which was an unexpected surprise! Based on Market St, the bus stop is 200m down the street so getting to and from Clifden was really easy from Galway City.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2024The apartment is located right in the heart of Clifden and has a fantastic view over the Bay. Very well-equipped kitchen. Lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds. The apartment is great for rainy and sunny days, as you can enjoy the view either from the living room or the balcony.
We had some issues with the toilet (blocking, toilet lid is not properly fixed), but got quick help so that it was better afterwards. Also, the house is a bit noisy (whirring from the fridge, elevator and other things, we could not really locate it). It did not bother us that much, but if you are a light sleeper it might be good to know.
