Hotel Royal Palace

Very Disappointing Experience I had a very disappointing experience at The Royal Palace, Sagar. This was my fourth stay in Sagar. I had stayed three times at The Heritage Convention, and compared to that, this hotel was nowhere near the same standard. Unfortunately, I did not find the staff very professional or welcoming. The overall atmosphere and the way some staff members communicated felt very unprofessional. The cleanliness of the room was also disappointing. The bedding did not look clean, and there were visible fungus/mold marks on the comforter, which was very unpleasant. I ordered tea, but it took around 30 minutes to arrive. The washroom was also extremely small and uncomfortable. Overall, it was a very poor experience, and I honestly felt that choosing this hotel was a big mistake. In my experience, The Heritage Convention is far better than The Royal Palace and would be my preferred choice for staying in Sagar.

Hotel reception staff specially girl staff were horrible and they unnecessary looking to charge us for extra money but finally the were successful to charge us extra money for breakfast even though i shown them booking with breakfast but they were not accepting and said breakfast was not shown. How they can reluctant even they were interested ti see booking detail on booking.com

The property. The scenic views. The decent gym. The restaurant though it serves only Veg.

What a fabulous hotel to stay in I was only going to stay one night but had an extra night as l loves the hotel so much. The staff were awesome:-) food excellent with attentive service. The room was immaculate but the modern style was out of character to the palace exterior. That is not a criticism just an opbservation.

There was building work going on but that did not affect my stay. The location out of town is only practical if one has own transprt.
