Die Gastgaberin war super nett und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen und sehr sauber. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und haben uns zu jeder Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker.

We stayed at 17 Cinnamon Villa and couldn't fault a single thing. Madu was so kind and welcoming and even let us check out later after I wasn't feeling well. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. We had huge comfortable bed with mosquito net, fan and great AC. The bathroom was huge and we had hot water everyday. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if I was returning to Ahangama!!

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich sehr gut. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Das Zimmer war geräumig und mit einem Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher ausgestattet. Es gibt Restaurants und kleine Shops in der Nähe. In das Zentrum läuft man ca. 15 Minuten.

Das Internet hat nicht immer einwandfrei funktioniert

Super aardige gastvrouw en -heer met lieve kinderen. Kan altijd bij ze terecht voor vragen en zijn erg flexibel! Airco werkte top en koelkast op kamer. Ontbijt was erg lekker. Locatie is top, dichtbij de mainroad, maar zonder de drukte ervan dus erg relaxed. Veel aapjes in de avond!

Enige gemis was een watertappunt, maar om de hoek staan kraampjes waar je voor heel goedkoop een fles kan kopen!

Es war sehr praktisch eingerichtet, mit einem kleinen Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer und allem was man braucht. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Dachterasse ist auch super. Und die Gastgeber sind sehr nett.

Location was perfect so many hidden gems to find where the villa is. Breakfast every morning was always made with love, the family who own the villa are so sweet.

There was no water fountain which would have helped with the heat and to avoid buying lots of plastic bottles. I know the bugs can’t be helped but there were too many Ants.

Quartier calme, personnel accueillant. Si vous surfez, c’est super.

I stayed here with a friend, and we booked two separate rooms. Everything was smooth from the start. The hosts, Madu and Chathuranga, were amazing—very kind, helpful, and always available for anything we needed. They truly go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. Their two lovely kids also add to the warm and welcoming atmosphere and make the place feel very comfortable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. Highly recommended! the rate should be 10

I gave a lower rating despite the hosting family being a 10/10. Madu and Chathuranga were excellent and did everything perfectly. However, there was very loud music coming from nearby at full volume during the afternoons and into the night for several days, and unfortunately, the property owner did not address this issue. It’s important to note that this is not related to the hosting family, who were truly great.

Beds had mosquito nets. Quiet location away from the busy road. Cheaper than a lot of other properties. Large spacious room and bed.

Location was difficult for the tuk tuks to find. Bed very squeaky. Lots of insects in the bathroom due to the vent. Very loud AC. Ground floor rooms meant we were woken up by other residents having breakfast right outside the door. Owner asked for payment daily and didn’t communicate with us otherwise. There were some stains on the bedsheets. WiFi weak at times.

Tolle Unterkunft, eingebettet in eine sehr herzliche, freundliche und sichere Nachbarschaft. Der Strand ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar, und ein kleiner Kiosk befindet sich direkt vor der Tür. Zimmer und Bad sind sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Familie ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und herzlich, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Frühstück ist lecker und bietet einen guten Standard. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und komme sehr gerne wieder.

Für längere Aufenthalte ist das Frühstück etwas eintönig.

The best part of this place is for sure the family who runs the place! A wonderful couple with their two lovely kids, I fell in love with the kids and was so amazed by this warm family. Whatever I needed they brought me as fast as possible with warm smile! If I'll come back to this place is only for this great warm family. They should get big bonus to their salary!!!

There were some nights where there was some strong music played from the neighbors, This is something the owner of the place need to handle ASAP as this is ruining the great experience of this place

Ich hatte hier einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt von einer Woche. Die Familie die das Homestay führt ist total herzlich und ich habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt. Bei Fragen oder Problemen konnte ich mich immer an sie wenden. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits von den größeren Straßen in einer schönen und grünen Wohngegend, umgeben von Palmen. Es ist deswegen sehr ruhig und ich konnte hier auch den ein oder anderen gemütlichen Spaziergang machen. Am Kabalana Beach ist man zu Fuß trotzdem in 5 min und in der Innenstadt auch in 5-10 min. Die Lage ist also top! Ich hatte das Kingsize Zimmer mit Dusche und war sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer war groß und gemütlich und das Bad war auch sehr geräumig. Es hatte auch ein Moskitonetz. Vom Rooftop aus konnte man einen tollen Sonnenuntergang sehen. Mit dem Frühstück war ich auch zufrieden. Wenn ich jemals wieder nach Sri Lanka komme, würde ich hier wieder hin!

Amazing experience! The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff very kind and friendly We had such a good time, would have loved to stay longer!

El hotel está ubicado en una zona muy tranquila y familiar. Los huéspedes son muy amables y la limpieza excepcional.

The family is very nice! They said they're not the owners, but they run the place and they are super friendly. The breakfast is good, bathroom was alright and the bed was comfortable.

Just that we didn't get the room that we actually booked.. we booked the most expensive one because of the nice view and the amenities and the first night we got the cheapest one.. we could just change the second and third night because we asked. Ground rooms with garden view are very moist and loud. We booked one on the top with a nice view etc. But could just change to the first floor instead. That was much better than ground floor but still not the one we paid for. Wouldn't be a problem if all the rooms were the same price and had the same amenities but they don't.

The location itself is pretty good, as well as the breakfast and the room. It was nice to stay more on the inside part with the locals, they were very kind

1. Before my arrival, i asked the place if my bed makes noises, they said it doesn't. Upom my arrival, i realized the bed is very noisy, and i was upset because they lied. At least they gave me another room, however the bed in there was still pretty noisy. 2. The place lacks hospitality on a serious level. On my first day there, I went through a rough and serious accident and had to go to a hospital far away from the hotel for surgery. When i told the people from the hotel about it, they didn't ask me what happened, and didn't offer their help. They were only mad at me for keeping the key to the room with me to the hospital and not returning it. I told them I had to spend the night in a hospital, and they even didn't ask me how am i doing, and if i need any help. It's really the bare minimum. When i came back to the hotel, they were minding their own business and didn't show care at all. such a poor behavior from the manager and the owner of the place.

The family are incredibly kind and helpful. The location is great just being a short distance from the main road but in a very quiet setting. The local people in the area are very welcoming. I had an issue with my scooter and the host gave me lots of advice which was so kind of him. The breakfast is really filling and the balcony offers good views across the jungle. The rooms are very spacious and exceptionally clean

Comfy bed with moskito net, spacious bathroom. Breakfast was tasty too and the location is very nice. Rooftop terrace offers a great view. Staff and their children are super friendly. Can definitely recommend.

Location was ok, hard for most tuk tuk drivers to find but ok in the end. Amazing jungle location amongst wildlife and beautiful people. Children always saying “hi” and bringing me flowers for my hair in the morning. Delicious breakfast.

Extremely creaky bed. Was comfortable but each time you moved the bed creaked and disturbed sleep.

Very friendly towards locals, which is often rare in Ahangama. Ajith, the caretaker was very accommodating of my requests concerning food and transport etc. Very good location, off the main road so very peaceful, but not too far from the town, Trax, the beach etc. Room was great, included meals were great, ask for Sri Lankan breakfast if you're interested and they will try to accommodate.

The house is in a very besutiful local location! The Family who runs it is super super lovely and helpful! Breakfast was great aswell!

Our bed made very loud noises with every move you make. Also we had kind of a strange smell in the room which was a bit uncomfortable. (Not a smell because it wasn't clean but still weird)

Was amazed to receive a welcome cocktail upon arrival! Great gesture!

Thought it was closer to beach but not, overall a good 15-20min walk which is doable
