I like only outside the hostel part. In the hostel there is nothing to like.

The room was dark only one light was there and the same in the washroom, cockroach 🪳 in the washroom, water is not there in every morning.

No security anyone can come and knock on your door from the street, not safe for solo travellers, unclean rooms with cob webs everywhere, stinky blankets, no way to order water, tea or coffee, the pictures are highly deceiving Please only book this if you’re a large group. Smaller groups please avoid especially women

Property was terribly maintained. Toilet doors don’t lock. The A/C wasn’t working.

There was absolutely nothing likeable about the property

1. The linen was dirty 2. The washrooms were a complete mess 3. There was no running water 4. The rooms smelled and there was dust all around 5. There was no drinking water available

Mould on the walls in the room. Maybe it was because it was off season but the pictures of this place were very misleading. I was also asked if I’d like drugs, have drugs or want to do some by 4 different guys literally within the first 15mins of turning up. Stayed one night and went elsewhere.

The location is nice

Totally unhygienic and the staff do not pick up the calls and there are no emergency contacts

I stayed at Madpackers Hostel in Anjuna for just one night, and honestly, it was one of the worst hostel experiences I’ve had. I booked this place simply to rest before my overnight bus the next day, but getting proper sleep was impossible. The biggest issue was actually the staff themselves. Late at night, the guy handling check-in was sitting inside the dorm talking loudly with guests at midnight while people were trying to sleep. They were also smoking inside the dorm, which is completely unacceptable. There were cigarette packets and cigarette butts lying on the floor. When the people managing the property don’t respect basic hostel rules, you can imagine the kind of environment it creates. The guests in the room were also extremely loud the entire night. People were shouting, arguing, and one girl kept vomiting in the washroom repeatedly. The whole atmosphere felt chaotic and uncomfortable instead of safe or restful. The dorm and bathroom conditions were also very poor. Broken handles, damaged taps, peeling paint, bad smell, no proper ventilation or natural light in the washroom. The pillow felt very old and uncomfortable, and the AC barely worked for a 10-bed dorm. Check-in was also badly handled. Even though beds were available, I had to wait until 2 PM, which I respected because it was official check-in time. But even after that, the process was disorganized and slow, with staff acting careless and uninterested whenever guests raised issues. One of the worst parts was that someone actually took my sandals from beside my bed during the night. There are no lockers, so security already feels weak. When I asked the staff for help, they simply said they didn’t know and suggested I buy new sandals. No effort to check CCTV or help properly. I eventually found my sandals myself in another dorm near another guest. The entire building feels neglected, like nobody really cares about maintenance, guest comfort, or security.

The power issue there generator is not switching when power out. That time no electricity and wifi connections, poor wifi network in room some rooms doesn't have mobile signals (jio). 1 took for 2 days last a employee who drunken and slept inside the bathroom with locked from inside. We lost 3 hours of sleep because of that,finaly the receptionist came and broken the lock with hammer. I heppend between 11pm -2am, because of this we lost our sleep qnd our next day whole planning was ruined . I will not suggest and not support anyone to take this. Compleat bad experience.

The location of this stay is very prime, because it's opposite the Fairfield hotel by Marriott, we can reach easily from anywhere in goa, from Mopa it will take 50mnts! Scooty rental options are available, rates are dissent! Near Anjuna beach.

When you look after a budget trip then there's nothing which you didn't like! We have to adjust with something! So don't think, go for it, have fun & make friends!

Everything. They gave us a room without a working flush. The place is so bad looks like we are living in a cheap ass community place. The bed sheets and pillows were stained. There was a water problem and the entire night and the next morning there was no water in the property. The pool mentioned never works. The staff was not very accommodating. Despite knowing the fact that the room’s washroom was faulty, they gave us the same room.

One of the most amazing trip ever. It was my 1st Time Solo travelling and Madpackers and team made me feel like I was with ma crew. The people working there like Ved put some extra efforts to make this trip memorable for me along with other hostellers. Daya is such a sweet person who helped with all the things during ma stay. Property is cool while the common area to hangout is my favourite. It was supposed to be 2-3 day trip but I ended up extending to 8 days as I enjoyed my stay.

1. Private rooms are good 2. There is one budget restaurant available on just 100 meters distance for breakfast, lunch and food.

1. While booking dormitory room there was no any age restriction information mentioned on website. 2. Hostel location is not easy to reach. It is jut 3 kms away from the beach however no cheap transport Available. You have to pay 500/- for the taxi. 3. There are no taxi stand near to this hostel, so you have to pay what local taxi drivers ask for. Because u do not have any other option. 4. There are no any budget hostel or hotel available near to his hostel. Only 5 star hotel is opposite to it. 5. There are no any general or convenience store available nearby. Just one wine shop and cold drink shop available. 6. When I reach there they didn’t allow me book dormitory room due to age restrictions. 7. Reception staffs were trying to sell me private rooms for 2500/- but same room I booked on Booking.com for 1500/-.

Not clean at all. The bathroom smelled horrendous which made the whole dorm room smell like a urinal. Bathroom was not clean, black mould on the doors and grime everywhere. The door to the bathroom kept getting stuck and was really loud to open and close which disturbed sleep. So many mosquitoes. The bedsheet and pillow cover seemed clean but the bed cover smelt like it hadn’t been washed in a long time.

Probably the moste comfy beds i slept in. The old wooden hostel is also beautiful and the rooms were clean. The scooter rental which is right at the hostel was also easy and cheap.

Unfortunately the pool which is advertised was under construction or is just not working. Also a laundryservice would be nice.

Good place a bit distance from Arjuna beach, but not so far, 5mins with scooter. Room was pretty basic and good, quiet location.

Location was ok, but for price would next time take place closer to beach and stuff, if reserving early enought that other places would be available.

Das ist ein tolles Gebäude für die Einzelzimmer. Tolle Zimmertür und Pflanzen.

Der Pool hat kein Wasser und ist kaputt, viele Steckdosen gehen nicht, WLAN im Zimmer war meistens weg, sie schauen nicht nach, ob es funktioniert und es ist Ihnen offensichtlich egal, das Schlimmste ist, dass man im Badezimmer neben der Ventilation eine Lücke in der Wand hat, wodurch die Mücken reinkommen. Außer im Bett habe ich nichts von dem bekommen, was ich bestellt hatte und dafür viele Mückenstiche.
