I booked SaffronStays Zokaa villa in Pali expecting a relaxing, premium getaway, but it turned into an absolute nightmare from the moment we checked in. I rarely write negative reviews, but the sheer lack of maintenance, blatant safety hazards, and atrocious customer service leave me no choice but to warn others. The most shocking issue was the sheer danger of the property. The glass in the washroom cubicle was completely broken, which actually resulted in me getting physically injured during our stay. As if that wasn't terrifying enough, the ceiling in the den room had literally collapsed. It felt like we were vacationing in an abandoned construction zone rather than a luxury villa. Beyond the safety hazards, the general upkeep was appalling: * Zero Cleanliness: General housekeeping was virtually non-existent, with glaring cleaning issues visible the moment we walked in. * Filthy Amenities: We were looking forward to the swimming pool, but it was completely uncleaned and unusable at the time of check-in. * Neglected Outdoors: The garden area was completely unmaintained, overgrown, and a far cry from the photos online. * Overpriced, Mediocre Food: The meals were incredibly average and definitely require significant improvement, yet they are billed at exorbitant rates. To make matters worse, the SaffronStays customer care team is equally frustrating and highly unprofessional. When I raised these severe safety and hygiene issues, they promised me that compensation would be provided upon checkout. Instead of honoring their word, they shamelessly withheld my security deposit and demanded that I first clear the inflated, overpriced food bill before they would do anything. Ultimately, they provided absolutely zero compensation for my physical injury and ruined holiday, and the customer care team completely ghosted me—stopping all responses to my messages the moment I checked out. If you value your safety, your money, and your peace of mind, look elsewhere.
