ISLANDERS INN - CORON

Loved how close to everything this hotel was! Super convenient to everything that we wanted to see and do. The staff were super friendly and we would come back again!

The AC wasnt the best but you cant really complain. Rooms are small but had everything we needed. Lots of mosquitos but i dont think it helped with the window purely being just a net as it defeats the point of AC.

Staff were very helpful and nice to have breakfast included. They helped us organise our excursions.

Had some issues travelling due to the weather, so were very kind allowing us to change the dates of our stay for no extra price.

When we came to check in, they laughed as they told us that they were fully booked and didn’t have a room for us. Said there was room down the street in some dorms (when we had payed for a private room) which we would have had to pay for, and then tried to get us to leave without offering a refund.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber lecker.

Absolute Katastrophe! Die Unterkunft liegt direkt in der Stadt und da das Hotel nicht gedämmt ist, ist es super laut. Auch nachts fahren viele Motorräder und Tuk Tuks, sodass es kaum möglich ist, zu schlafen. In der ganzen Unterkunft sind super viele Ameisen zu finden. Zur Toilette und Dusche gibt es keine Abgrenzung, das heißt, wenn man duscht, steht das ganze Bad unter Wasser.

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt gelegen und sehr zentral. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Terrasse ist entspannt zum arbeiten oder Sonnenuntergang gucken.

Das Hotel ist direkt an der Straße und die Fenster sind nah zu überhaupt nicht gedämmt, es ist also sehr sehr laut. Wer gerne ruhig schläft, sollte sich woanders umschauen

Noise from the road was unbearable at times, staff weren’t too friendly or helpful, breakfast was brutal, one fried egg and two pieces of toast, had to pay extra if you wanted more, they didn’t clean the room after the first day, arrived back after island hopping tour to find the room exactly as we left it, there was also a crack in the door to the room so anyone could see in

Hotel je v centre mesta Coron, na hlavnej ulici. Možnosť objednať si Tours priamo v hoteli. Možnosť drop off (mini bus) na letisko za príplatok.

Chýbali stanice na vodu, pravidelné upratovanie a dopĺňanie, museli sme sa chodiť pýtať personalu. Mali sme izbu smerovanú na hlavnú cestu a všetko z ulice bolo počuť dnu - mali sme pocit, že nám TukTuk prechádza cez izbu. Celý hotel je bez vytahu s velmi vysokými schodmi. Kúpelňa spojená so záchodom, bez moznosti si ani zavesiť uterák.

Obviando que en el pueblo no hay prácticamente nada que ver o hacer y que no es muy bonito, está perfectamente ubicado en la zona donde se mueve todo. Para la cantidad de tráfico y gente que hay en los alrededores a todas horas, a mi parecer se escucha bastante poco el ruido de fuera, aunque te dan tapones para ellos, están en la habitación al entrar, así que es un detalle que tienen en cuenta. Yo soy muy sensible al ruido y no los necesité, así que en ese aspecto bien. La habitación está bien para lo que es y la cama y almohadas me parecieron muy cómodas. El desayuno incluido es bastante simple pero te salva la mañana.

Por la mañana no hay agua caliente aunque con el calor que hace no la necesitas. En mi habitación el WC no tenía fuerza, así que hay que echar un cubo de agua para que desaparezca tu amigo color marrón. El aire acondicionado hace el mismo ruido que la turbina de un avión, pero funciona bien.

For budget travellers, it has everything you need. The staff are really nice and it has a good view from the roof top. The vibe is really chill and relaxed.

The bathroom is too small, but it's not too bad. Also the electric plugs are too far from the bed, at least for our room.

La posizione ottima vicino al centro. Camere piccole ma con tutto l’essenziale. Temevo che fosse rumoroso, leggendo le recensioni, ma il rumore per fortuna non è fastidioso. Il mattino presto avevamo un volo e ci hanno prenotato il transfer e preparato la colazione da asporto. Per il prezzo pagato lo super consiglio!

Essendo la stanza un po’ piccola non lo consiglierei per lunghi soggiorni.

The room. The breakfast. The staff. The cat smell. The million stairs. Too busy a street. Not a charming part of town. We booked this thinking we would be out snorkeling all day so who cares about the hotel but it rained for days and days so I really wish we booked a nicer hotel. Note- The room with the balcony is not a private balcony.

We booked this place for 2 nights because our flight got cancelled due to storms. I am not sure why the reviews were good at all. The room was on the 2nd floor on a very steep flight of stairs. Our room stank of chemicals from when we went into the room. The beds were flaking off, the room was dusty and dirty. The mattresses were just foam and there were no mattress protectors, just a thin sheet over foam, but the kind of foam that is itchy. My husband sat on the bed while we were figuring out what to do and he leaned on the pillow and his back started to get itchy. We just could not stay because it was so sub standard clean. We asked for a refund and the staff were not helpful and told me to ask for a refund through the app, and but they refused us a refund of $AUD225!! But it was so bad that we had to let it go for our health and find alternative accomodation.

The room is a good size for 2 people. The bed was comfortable (3 pillows). There are few pieces of furniture to hang or let our stuff (super convenient). There are some samples offered : toothbrushes+toothepastes, shampoo, and little soaps. The breakfast is delicious (pancakes or toast with butter and jam). Coffee unlimited. Nice view from the rooftop where we had breakfast!! The staff is super kind. They helped us book our tour, scooter, even recommended a few places, and the best spa in town (Malipay).

It's located in the city center so it's crowded at night. No hair dryer, but you can ask for it. Also, no body wash. They don't make your room, so you have to ask if you need more toilet papers/towels... We had a few moskitos in our room. Even though we killed them, new came every day.

Nice little comfy double room! Perfect for a few nights in Coron. Nice view for breakfast. Staff and very helpful when organising laundry and tours.

They went above and beyond to make sure we got the room we thought we originally booked.

Cleanlines, the rooms

In center of town on main street, so any room facing front will be noisy, but other rooms not too bad. Possible to walk to the port/tour boat area, or very short ride. Very simple rooms/amenities, but clean. Air conditioning worked fine. Staff helpful in setting up tours/transfers. Rooftop restaurant/lounge area has nice view over area. Had simple (free) breakfast (pancakes or toast/egg), which was good.

Typical Asian Hotel bathrooms though and room was smaller than anticipated.

As soon as I booked the Inn messaged me to ask if I needed transport (they do not provide but will organise a pick up at an additional expense) or help with booking tours on the island. They were super accommodating and affordable and made my anniversary with the partner memorable! As soon as we arrived, our room was ready and welcome drinks were brought to our rooms after we had enough time to settle in. I could not recommend this place more! The tour location meet up was only 5min walk, from the hotel and plenty of food options within a 8min walking distance. If you need to rent towels for the tour/ hotsprings they also provide those with a small rental fee. There was a public balcony where breakfast was served, with a scenic view of Coron town proper from 3rd and 4th floor and a few island close by. Such an amazing place to relax after a tour day.

These is honestly nothing to complain about. BUT as a PSA If you are jet lagged and want to sleep during the middle of the day and is sensitive to sound, please keep in mind that you are in the heart of Coron Town proper. The hotel does an amazing job and provides earplugs. I was staying on the 2rd floor (3rd for my American friends) The noise pollution was minimum and tricycles would stop at around 11pm, but DON'T LET THIS BE A DEAL BREAKER FOR YOU! FYI the first set of stairs are a little steep, however the staff do help bring your luggage to your room if you are unable to carry heavy items up.

The room was very spacious, comfy beds and pillows. Very clean, and you get fresh towels. The breakfast was basic in terms of choice but the best pancakes I've had at any hotel! The staff were extremely friendly. I had a medical emergency and was helped beyond expectations and was looked after extremely well! The view from the rooftop is beautiful. I would stay again

The bathroom is a bit small. We had to notify the staff twice that the tap of the basin was broken and the toilet seat loose. After mentioning this was fixed. Our room was located at the main road which made it quite loud but late hours it wasn't too bad.

Right in the action of town. Very handy for bookings, the staff did most of our tour bookings and their prices were spot on. The facilities are not luxurious as you should expect at the price. The breakfast was very nice and convenient for boat trip days.

We had a balcony room looking out to the harbour, this gave a nice sunset view but it was a bit noisy. Rooms in the rest of the hotel would be quieter.

Tidiness, room not clean (dusty, bathroom got dirty and broken grouting) and very damp. You could smell the damp and all my clothes had the same smell when I left.

Central location. We stayed for new years eve and were invited to a rooftop buffet party. Very friendly staff. Bea on reception was very helpful Nothing was too much trouble. Very nice
