Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Fijn huis met prachtig uitzicht. Dichtbij vele mooie wandelingen. Hoewel we er geen gebruik van hebben gemaakt is de BBQ hut en leuke toevoeging.
Zoals in andere recensies al benoemd zijn de badkamer, keuken en verlichting echt aan vervanging toe. Het afval wegbrengen in het dorpje Husøy vonden we onhandig.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026We had an amazing stay at Husaveien in Husøy. The house was cosy, spacious, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful outdoor cabin with a BBQ area, perfect for relaxing while enjoying the stunning surroundings. The house is located right by the sea, with a small stream flowing beside it, creating a peaceful and picturesque atmosphere. The interior design was stylish and thoughtfully decorated, making the house feel warm and welcoming. The self check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The views were absolutely breathtaking, facing Husøy Island with Fjordgård visible across the fjord. It's a fantastic location for nature lovers and photographers. The house is also conveniently located, only about 30–40 minutes' drive to popular hiking spots like Senja Hesten and Segla. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with spectacular scenery in Senja!

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026The location of the house is very nice, close to the water, to Husøy island with fast charging possibility, supermarket, café and restaurant and with an incredible view on Segla, Hesten mountains etc. The house is spaceious and has everything you need, also it's a quiet place to relax. Very nice!
Big TV screen, but only with your own accounts (no TV) - but maybe not needed in this nice nature.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026Vsekto bolo dokonale. Zodpovedalo popisu a obrázkom. Vybavenie ubytovania bolo nadstandartne. Všetko krásne čisté a pripravené. Výborná komunikácia s majiteľom. Bol veľmi nápomocný. Informácie boli jasne.
Nemám čo vytknúť, všetko bolo výborne. Jedine na náš vkus mäkká madrac, ale pri tom všetkom dokonalom sme aj na boľavé chrbty zabudli.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026L'emplacement: vous payez pour une vue superbe et les aurores depuis la terrasse. L'endroit est magnifique. Husoy est une merveille; facile de faire des petites courses sur l'île. Matelas confortables. Calme. Alentours (petite hutte et jardin, en bord de mer) très agréables.
Des problèmes avec la douche sont mentionnés par les clients depuis mars 2025... La porte de remplacement ne convient pas et ne ferme pas tout à fait. Des ampoules manquantes doivent être changées depuis des mois... et rien n'est fait (février 2026). La dame est venue avec quelques ampoules à notre demande mais le système électrique est défectueux (le plafonnier de la salle de bain s'allume quand il le veut). Il n'y a pas d'éclairage dans la salle à manger. On a cuisiné avec des lampes frontales. Il n'y a pas de détecteurs de fumée ou ils sont défectueux. Quand on prend de l'eau (robinet, chasse, douche ou machines), il y a une sorte de pompe qui fait un bruit épouvantable. Une des chambres est juste à côté: ne pas tirer la chasse la nuit ou faire tourner le lave-vaisselle, si on veut dormir. La maison est annoncée pour 10 personnes. En réalité, au-delà de 6 personnes, c'est du camping. Un fauteuil est cassé. Au salon, max. 8 personnes peuvent s'asseoir. Il y a 6 chaises autour de la table; il faut donc manger en 2 fois! Une des chambres était sans lumière (on nous a apporté une petite liseuse, pour un séjour d'une semaine...). Une autre chambre est remplie par le lit 2 personnes (il faudra marcher dans sa valise pour aller se coucher). Les 4 autres chambres sont OK. Nous étions 3 adultes et 3 adolescents, 2 adultes de notre groupe avaient annulé le voyage. Heureusement pour ce logement, on se serait marché sur les pieds. La petite hutte dans le jardin est très agréable, même en hiver mais tout est un peu négligé (vitre cassée, les locataires précédents ont laissé des choses à jeter). DOMMAGE il ne faudrait pas beaucoup pour rendre le lieu parfait, juste du temps et du soin.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026Tout était parfait, la localisation est parfaite pour se reposer au calme en face du petit village d'Husoy sur son ile. Senja est idéale pour observer les aurores boréales (voir les 2 photos) que nous avons pu voir la nuit du mardi 23/12 au 24/12. Nous n'avons qu'une envie, retourner en Norvège pour en découvrir plus et à d'autre saisons.
Une seule remarque sur les spots des chambres qui sont soit sans lampes, soit dangereux de part leur position proche des rideaux ou du lambris.

Horrible sheets and only given hand towels, no bath towels. Sheer curtains everywhere including in bathroom, wouldn’t be surprised if this place has cameras. Rented whole house but whole upstairs (view bedrooms!) locked off. Not snow cleared to entry at all. Shower doors broken. Wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me

Reviewed Mar 12, 2025We had a terrible experience at this property. The bathroom glass door was poorly installed and unstable. When my wife tried to close it, the door came loose and shattered, cutting her with broken glass and causing her to bleed. Thankfully, it was only her feet that were injured, but it could have been much worse. Due to our travel schedule, we couldn’t immediately discuss next steps with the owner. Instead of showing any concern for my wife’s injuries, the owner demanded we pay for the damage! They completely ignored her well-being and acted incredibly selfishly. It’s outrageous that they’d blame us for their own negligence. Avoid this place—safety and customer care are clearly not priorities here.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2025The name of this place sums it up nicely. This is truly an extremely cozy house in a stunning location. You can watch the Northern Lights directly from the huge terrace (been there, done that!) or simply relax, lulled to sleep by the waves. Within a walking distance to Husøy. A great starting point for trips around Senja. Officially added to my list of favorite places on Earth! Thank you, Olivia, for your hospitality!

Reviewed Oct 2, 2024- Very clean and cozy house - Amazing views of the mountains - Great base for day hikes in the mountains - Small grocery store nearby - Opportunity to see the Northern Lights right from the terrace
- Kitchen did not have a microwave (but otherwise it was well-equiped) - The heat pump was not working during our stay; however, there were several heaters in the house so the kitchen and living room stayed warm, the bedroom and bathroom/toilet were a bit chilly.

Reviewed Sep 26, 2024A beautiful house in a stunning location with stunning views of the best of the Senja mountains. The property is ideal for a group of friends or a larger family. Parking space under the house. Hosts very friendly and helpful. It is a 10 minute walk to the shop. We are very happy with the place and sincerely recommend it.
There was a small fault with the electricity, but the hosts responded perfectly so there is nothing to dislike. :)
