Super Amazing❤️ I feel like home and relax. This is my home. Josephine and all staff are so kind and always take care of me. They ask me breakfast every previous night as my likely time, preference. Their breakfast is so yammy and variety and I enjoy breakfast on balcony with beautiful coron bay view.Every morning I can't wait for open window and go breakfast. The room is clean, nice wide bed, hot shower,well-maintained air conditioner,high speed wifi, free cold/hot water .Location is exactly center of Coron city. There are so many shops and restaurants, dive shops within couple of mins walk. But It’s set back about 10 meters from the main street, so there’s no traffic noise.Especially They have kitchen with microwave, kettle, fridge.They borrow me electric cooking pot also! I enjoy cooking from local market every day.As mentioned in some other reviews, the sound of roosters crowing was the perfect way to wake up. Coming from the city, it was a delightful experience that felt like a return to nature. I slept well every night. I travel over 100 hotels in Philippines. My No.1 accomodation is J&J Bed and Breakfast. I'll definitely be back.Thank you so much for everything. I deeply appreciate for you.

We had a wonderful stay at J&J Bed and Breakfast! The location is perfect, very convenient and well situated for exploring the area. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and they really make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. They also offer a great range of services, including organized tours, scooter rentals, and airport shuttle transfers, which makes everything so easy and stress-free. The breakfast was also very good, fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day. We highly recommend it! 🌟

Le petit déjeuner est très bon

Beaucoup de choses n’allaient pas : -La première nuit j’ai dormis dans la chambre du bas, avec une salle de bain séparé se trouvant dans la cuisine, sans lavabo, avec un tuyaux qui fuyait et qui coulait sans arrêt. Ce n’était pas la chambre que j’avais réservé initialement. Il y a deux lits dans cette chambre, dont un qui était très sale, il n’avais pas été fait depuis longtemps je pense (poils, poussières…) -J’ai été changé de chambre pour une chambre classique double à l’étage, mais cette fois-ci les toilettes ne fonctionnaient pas, le lavabo non plus, uniquement la douche fonctionnait. Sans compter la panne d’eau le jour suivant. -L’hôtel est entouré de ferme, vous êtes réveillés à partir de 3h-4h du matin avec les coqs qui chantent sans arrêt -Pour couronner le tout j’ai demandé pour le dernier jour un transfer en van pour l’aéroport. Je suis arrivée à la réception à l’heure prévu 7h30, et aucun transfert en van n’avait été prévu. Globalement, je ne recommande pas cet hôtel, on ne peut pas faire confiance.

J&J was perfect for a few days in coron, conveniently located for access to all main areas of town, places to eat, the marina, etc. The place is clearly renovated and has a lot more facilities (kitchen, beautiful rooftop deck) than many others. Josephine was very kind, her breakfast was amazing. She warned us about the sound of roosters in advance and with ear plugs it wasn’t bothersome at all.

We adored this place! Very central yet off the road for privacy. Super comfortable beds, extremely clean and homey feeling. Josephine the owner went out of her way to help us with anything and everything. We told her we had suffered diarrhea in El Nido and she would get us bananas and a special Philippino apple to help. They would always ask about breakfast preference for each day and would cook the freshest most satisfying things! The whole family and staff are incredible people warm and welcoming. We will tell everyone we know Traveling to Coron about this place.

People say the roosters next door annoy them but for us it was a beautiful touch getting us closer to authentic island life!

I had a great stay here for four nights. The place is very clean, well located, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. There’s a small rooftop area with a nice view, which is perfect to relax. You can also rent good motorbikes directly from the accommodation, which made getting around very easy. The breakfast was really good as well. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The sewage smell from the bathroom (room 1) is really strong, to the point that at times I didn't want to be in the room, which is a shame because it was very large and lovely. In addition, you should be aware that there are two chicken coops, one on each side of the accommodation, meaning the roosters are just a few meters from the windows. The earplugs they provide aren't sufficient.

Very nice people make half the stay. The common area is really nice and clean with a small balcony where you can see a bit of the sunset. The room is nice and a good size. The location is perfect close to the center but not on the main road.

As other people mentioned there are a lot of roosters around. If you can't stand the sound keep this in mind. We didn't really mind but got woken up a few times.

I promised in a way not to write a review, but I have to, sorry host! The host is very nice, friendly, room clean.

no sleep as there a roosters all around and there were no windows or just a cover. I was loud all night and couldn't close my eyes even for a minute. the breakfast was not my taste as the row eggs and uncood pancakes were not eatable. There were some Philippinos as guests as well at the time, they didn't see to be disturbed. I don't mind the country side, but we couldn't sleep and moved to another place next day. Didn't ask for a refund, we were happy to just leave. There is another J&J a Van took us to the wrong J&J in the evening. For the host, at least put some windows and walls on the rooms, might be quiter. I completely understand, that it's the neighbours fault, but you cannot receive guests like this. :(

El alojamiento está súper limpio y bien ubicado. Cuenta con wifi. El personal súper atento dispuesto a resolver. Suspendieron nuestro ferry el último día y nos guardaron las maletas hasta la hora de nuestro vuelo en la tarde. El desayuno estuvo bien!

Algo para tener en cuenta es que la ducha no cuenta con agua caliente.

La habitación, no hay nada de ventilación, olor a humedad. El grifo del lavabo no tenía agua y la ducha poca potencia.

All was good but there is two things which can do relaxing a little bit uncomfy. First no warm water, but my misses manage to boil hot water and mix it in a bucket with cold. Another thing neiborough has a small rooster farm and they "talk" a bit. Staff provided earbuds to kill noise and that helped a bit. Enough to fall asleep 🙂

Unfortunately it is very noisy due to the presence of roosters next door, I am a light sleeper and despite earplugs the noise was audible at night and made it difficult for me to sleep (the owner offers earplugs).

The guesthouse is surrounded on three sides by chicken and rooster farms leading to unbearable noise from at least 50 roosters crowing from approx 3am til nightfall. In addition, several dogs barked incessantly. NO HOT WATER for showers..ANYTIME! Shower is over toilet. Everything is wet, nowhere to put your toiletries or hang wet towels. Rooms are very small basic, bed is wedged against the wall with 1 bedside table. No cupboards or even hooks to hang any clothes. No benches or tables to put anything on . NO MIRROR anywhere in the room! You have to go out to the shared lounge to shave or comb your hair. The premises is up a dirt track leading to the chicken farm. There is no signage on the street or at the premises so our tricycle driver took us to the wrong place. There is no lighting on the track. We asked for washing to be done and it was returned 24hr later, folded but mostly all still wet. They don’t have a dryer .

The property is close to the town centre, but at first, the street looked a bit abounded, but it seemed safe. The staff is super nice and friendly.

The property is located in the middle of a fighting rooster farm. They start screaming at about 12am and continue for the whole night. There are earplugs available, but to be honest, they weren't helping us. Unless you get used to it or have a super deep sleep, it's hard to rest.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The place was great—our room was comfortable, the internet connection was strong, and the host, Ma’am Josephine, was absolutely lovely. She and the staff were very accommodating and made sure all our needs were met. At one point, we needed pliers and they had them right away. We also brought some takeout food, and thankfully, there was a fridge available for us to use. While they don’t sell rice, I asked Ma’am Josephine and she kindly gave us some. There’s also a drinking water dispenser, plus coffee and tea available at any time, which we really appreciated. The view from both the veranda and the rooftop terrace was stunning—that’s where the dining areas are, so every meal came with a beautiful backdrop. It’s also just a short walk to town, where you’ll find bars and restaurants. I almost forgot to add. Their breakfasts are absolutely delicious!

We had a beautiful stay with Josephine and her crew. She was really caring and helpful throughout our stay, especially while we were looking for a motorbike, and she was flexible with breakfast. The accommodation — including the living room and kitchen — is really modern, making you feel like you're staying in a 5-star place. The view from the rooftop is wonderful, the room is comfortable. I definitely recommend the stay!

The AC and the rooster can be quite loud.

Central location, walking distance to town, bars and restaurants. Nice view from the dining area. Pancakes with breakfast were yummy. Bedding smells lovely and clean. The owner is very helpful, she arranged tuk tuk, and motorcycle hire. Overall, good stay for the price.

Shower water was a little lacking. Rooms are on the smaller side.

The host was absolutely amazing! Went above and beyond for us, helped us with airport transfers, motorbike rentals, breakfast always on time (the time that you tell her) and even bought us cake! The only downfalls were the beds and pillows are quite hard but this seems to be the normal in Asia, the water pressure isn’t the best but usable and you are directly next to a chicken farm so is very noisy in the mornings. With earplugs though we slept fine!

Very lovely owner being super flexible with breakfast. Also helped us to book transportation to the airport. The outdoor area is nice as well. We had everything we needed and even more. There is a kitchen with a water dispenser and a fridge, etc. and there is a TV in the room and one real big one in the communal area. And as noted by others there are several roosters around the property but we used earplugs and had no problem with them.

Very good location within the short walking distance to the town centre, shops and restaurants nearby. The host is very helpful, has organised for us airport transfers and high quality day trips. For any our questions was given prompt response. Breakfast pancakes were delicious. The top terrace has an amazing view to the see and the sunset. Beautiful stay, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked having breakfast on the patio each morning. We took takeaway and ate dinner on the rooftop one night. The best part of this place is Maryjane- she went above and behind. She sewed my husband's shorts when they broke, made us early morning breakfast before our 8am flight, and gave us some great recommendations. Lots of rooster noises but with earplugs, it was okay.

Make sure you are clear with your driver what location as there is another J&J guesthouse up a big hill, it was no big deal though as we got there!! I wish there was a hook in the bathroom/room.

We had a nice stay at J&J and particularly appreciated the help we were given as we faced food poisoning coming from a trip. Beds were comfy and room quite spacious. They also have a really nice balcony to have breakfast, ours had eggs, rice and a slice of watermelon. The only 2 cons I have to point out are the bathroom, very small and infested by ants, and the fact it's very noisy due to lots of chickens around the property (they do provide ear plugs though, so only an issue if you are a very light sleeper). The B&B is situated on a slope so make sure you ask whoever takes you there to go all the way up, otherwise you have to carry your bags and it's not nice.

The host Josephine was very accommodating and couldn't do enough for you. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Had a little trouble finding it initially but location was great. It's tucked away up a side road directly next to Hermanos Tapas and Wine Bar

Bed was comfortable. Clean, other than moldy, leaking ceiling in the bathroom.

It is SURROUNDED by roosters and next to impossible to sleep, even with ear plugs. Stay elsewhere. Neighbours on both sides have approximately 20-40 caged roosters. The noise is crazy from 3 am to noon. Upon arrival the staff told us our room with two beds was booked because a guest extended and we were to be moved to a different room with one bed, which fine albeit odd. However unfortunately this room had a leak in the ceiling of the bathroom and black mold around the leak. We were also informed that because our original booking didn’t have AC and the new room did, we would be charged extra if we turned the AC on. Very strange policy. We were supposed to be on the second floor which has beautiful views, instead we were out beside the roosters on the main floor.

The property is so clean! The room was cozy but perfect for what we needed. The breakfast offered is so nice and you are asked what time you would like to eat! They currently have 4 adorable puppies staying near the B&B who are so cute and friendly and really made our stay so enjoyable greeting us every night when we walked back from town!

There is a lot a chickens around the property but it’s the same as everywhere in the Philippines! Ear plugs are provided and you get use to it very quickly. Wasn’t an issue for us.

We stayed four nights there, is a new guest house very good located, everything was always very clean, there is water for free, very good air conditioning. The owner and the staff who work there are very good people and they always treated us very well. They always asked if we needed something. I really recommend stay there.

Our stay here was a real highlight of our time in the Philippines. This is a new B&B and honestly it is a pearl. Firstly, Josephine is an amazing host. She is warm and welcoming, and also cooks a lovely breakfast which you can enjoy on the balcony overlooking the bay (a wonderful, calming start to any day). She gave excellent communication before and during our stay, and helped us to book tours with a really good operator, even providing snacks for us for the boat! The property itself is modern, spotless, and well-located in the town. The rooms are big and clean, with well-working AC. You’re a short walk into Coron town’s main strip, and near lots of nice restaurants. I’d highly recommend the B&B for anyone wanting to explore Coron. A real home away from home.
