A sign at the top of the driveway would make it easier to find. It’s weird driving into someone’s yard and not being 100% sure you’re at the right place. WIFI didn’t work

Det var ikke rengjort når vi ankom. Lite baderom. Kluss med det elektriske (deler av belysningen). Hadde bestilt ved til vedovnen, noe som var tilbudt fra utleier. Veden så vi aldri noe til.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Beautiful place, quiet and very well situated. We stayed with my husband for two nights and wished we had booked longer! The place is immaculate and beautiful with stunning views. All was perfect. We had a nice tearrace with a BBQ. We stayed in summer so didn't use neither the fireplace nor the stove. the sitting rooms, dining rooms and kitchen are lovely, large and comforatble. I'd recommend to stay for a few days if you can so you can enjoy the place as well as the lovely walks from the house. Parking is easy, there's a sauna and a charger if you have an electric place. Thank you

Dead bugs in cabinets/crevices, a mouse, hot without fans, but all to be expected based on the location and time of year.

Gartenpolster lagen draußen im Staub, Waschmaschine war noch voll, … Badezimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Alles Kleinigkeiten, aber bei den tollen Bilder waren die Erwartungen sehr hoch.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026Netter Gastgeber, der auf alle Wünsche eingegangen ist (es fehlten Toaster und Wäscheständer). Es ist wirklich extrem ruhig in der Hütte, tags und nachts, man kann gut entspannen. Es gibt es paar schöne Wandertouren in der Umgebung. Das Bad ist klein aber erstaunlich funktional. Wir konnten Wäsche waschen und kochen (allerdings mussten wir die Pfannen/Töpfe vorher nochmal saubermachen).
Man kann nur von einer Seite ins Bett steigen, d.h. einer schläft an der Wand und muss den anderen wecken, wenn man raus muss. Es gibt quasi keine Aussicht (nur die beiden anderen Häuser auf dem Grundstück haben Ausblick ins Tal). Es war bis zuletzt unklar, wo man genau parken soll. Irgendwo davor schien wohl ok zu sein. Die Sicherheitskameras verfolgen einen automatisch, sobald man nur Fenster oder Tür öffnet. Man "fühlt" sich beobachtet (obwohl das wahrscheinlich nicht stimmt).

В маленьком доме на двоих человек пора менять матрас, т.к. он очень мягкий и уже не во всю ширину кровати. PS. Можно рассмотреть вариант отельного постельного белья, но потеряется атмосфера места

We hadden het kleinste huisje, op de foto's op Booking is dat absoluut niet duidelijk en verwarrend. De aankomst is ook niet geheel duidelijk. We hebben bij 3 verschillende huisjes de code uitgeprobeerd voordat we de goede hadden De inrichting is prachtig, maar niet heel comfortabel. Het keukentje is wel prima in orde. Wasmachine aanwezig, maar geen droogrek. Badkamer is verre van comfortabel. Het huisje is best koud en je bent eigenlijk verplicht om dan hout te kopen. Hebben wij niet gedaan en maar met een plaid op de bank gezeten, omdat we nooit een hele zak hout zouden hebben opgemaakt. Je mag er namelijk pas om 16.00 uur in en om 10.00 uur er alweer uit. Beddengoed was prima, maar bed niet heel fijn. Je kunt er maar aan één kant uit. Voor een nachtje prima, maar langer zeker niet aan te bevelen.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026Stugan och hela farmen är helt fantastiskt! Vi stannade bara en natt på vägen men skulle gärna komma tillbaka för semester i området. Sängen var en stor dubbelsäng med sköna duntäcke och kuddar. Perfekt då det blev -31 på natten. Ole var mycket hjälpsam med att försöka starta vår bil som blev utslagen i kylan.
Allt var superbra!

Varme i alle gulv, store åpne peiser, skinnfeller på sengene, stor og myk sofa og badekar. Her kunne vi vært veldig mye lenger! Tusen takk for veldig god oppfølging og hyggelig vertskap! Vi kommer veldig gjerne tilbake 🤩

Reviewed Sep 20, 2025Gemütliche Hütte, die geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und antwortet zügig. Wir haben uns insgesamt wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft daher weiterempfehlen.
In den Ausstattungsmerkmalen unter dem Punkt „Wellness“ ist zwar angegeben, dass die Sauna nur gegen eine Zusatzgebühr zu nutzen ist, allerdings zum Zeitpunkt unserer Buchung leider nicht im Text zur Beschreibung der Unterkunft. Daher hatten wir dies übersehen. Wenn man duscht, ist leider danach der ganze Boden im Bad überschwemmt.

Reviewed May 28, 2025Loved everything about this place! The host who met us was engaging and charming, clearly passionate about his family home. The property was amazingly kitted out, even had its own cocktail glasses. We had the sauna to ourselves. There was a table tennis table in the milking parlour which was good fun. Great views over the river. We all had our own double beds. Living room & dining room were a good size. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it.
Nothing - if you didn't have internet for online maps it's not in an obvious signed location, but we recognised the main building easily from the photo so no problem for us.

Reviewed Sep 20, 2024This property is exceptional. Beautifully furnished with modern kitchen. The views are beautiful. I stayed with my husband and two teenage boys and we loved the bunk beds. We only stayed for 2 nights so that we could do white water rafting at Sjoa - but we wish we had stayed longer! Ole the owner is so friendly and available for any queries - he actually made the stay even better.

It was a beautiful day and we wanted our windows open. However, the people staying in a nearby cabin were smoking outside so we had to keep our windows closed.

While we appreciated the sauna, means to wash in the sauna would have added to the practicality of it. Now it is just the steam room and dressing room.

"Doodads" for media streaming accompanied by good wifi greatly appreciated. The experience was topped off with one of the friendliest hosts we've ever had. Thank you so much for having us - and for the opportunity to use the fireplaces - that definitely set the right mood for our time there.
Didn't dislike anything, but be aware there's a bit of a drive to the nearest restaurant or grocery store; Bring the foodstuffs you want for the stay - because you will not want to leave the place before you absolutely have to 🥰

The cabin we stayed in had a beautiful mix of modern parts such as bathroom & kitchen and cute old-school furniture. The check-in was smooth, as the cabin was just unlocked for us and we could just walk in. Still we met Ole, the host, for a quick chat and he gave us some local tips. I'd definitely recommend a stay here!
