LE NID DU PRINCE

The breakfast was very well presented and very good value. The room was quirky but comfortable and the bathroom was superb. Our host, Francis, was most accommodating and informative, a very interesting person to speak to. He gave us a lift from the station and back again at the end of our stay.

There was nothing we disliked.

Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, μόλις 5-10 λεπτά με τα ποδια από τα κυριότερα σημεία του ιστορικού κέντρου. Ήσυχος δρόμος. Ο οικοδεσπότης τυπικός και σωστός. Το δωμάτιο καινούριο, πεντακάθαρο, φωτεινό..Παρόλο που είναι μικρό δεν του λείπει απολύτως τίποτα και είναι πολύ άνετο και λειτουργικό . Εξαιρετικό στρώμα και ωραία κλινοσκεπασματα. Μπίρα και νερό στο ψυγείο, διαφορά ροφήματα. Το μπάνιο τεράστιο, επίσης πεντακάθαρο, ειναι εκτός του δωματίου, αλλά ακριβώς δίπλα. Παντού έχει δοθεί προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια. Μπράβο!

Το μόνο που με απογοήτευσε ειναι ότι όταν θέλησα να κλείσω και δεύτερο βράδυ αυξήθηκε πολύ η τιμή για τα δύο βραδια.

La ubicación era buena. Andando llegabas a la Grand Place en menos de 10 minutos. La habitación era amplia, confortable, limpia, bonita y tenía una pequeña nevera que es bastante útil. La llegada fue buena. Nos habían enviado los códigos de entrada y todo fue rápido.

Tuvimos unos días de bastante calor en Brujas y por la noche, a pesar del ventilador, tuvimos un poco de calor. Y aunque eso no depende del alojamiento, llegar con maletas por el suelo de Brujas, de adoquines, no es fácil

Die Lage ist hervorragend, um Brügge zu Fuß zu erkunden. Der Besitzer, Francis, ist sehr freundlich. Das Bad ist sehr großer und neu.

Es gibt im wesentlichen drei Punkte, die unseren Aufenthalt getrübt haben: - Francis hat einen (sehr) kleinen Hund, der bellt wenn er Gäste hört. Sieht man den Hund, springt dieser auch schon einmal an einem hoch. Für uns kein Problem, aber vielleicht für Menschen, die Angst vor Hunden haben. Danach wurde nicht gefragt, darauf könnte man Rücksicht nehmen. - Das Bett (im Zimmer ohne Gartenblick) war wirklich schlecht. Das Bett neigt sich an den Seiten herab, sodass man fast aus dem Bett herausfällt. - Das Bad (im Zimmer ohne Gartenblick) befindet sich auf dem Flur. Darauf wird in der Buchung nicht hingewiesen, obwohl dies m.E. ein relevanter Punkt ist. Zudem ist das Bad lediglich mit einer Milchglas-Schiebetür "verschlossen". Personen auf dem Flur hören also nicht nur alles, sondern können durch die Tür auch Umrisse sehen. Das schlimmste jedoch: zwischen Tür und Wand befindet sich ein Spalt, durch den andere Gäste, die gerade die Treppe hoch- oder runtergehen, direkt in die Dusche gucken können. Das ist einfach nicht in Ordnung.

The room and its facilities were excellent. They had complimentary beer in the fridge. Tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was great. The location was excellent. I loved the stay.

Lejligheden er ikke stor og trapperne er stejle. Vi savnede en aircondition da vi havde 30 grader.

Ottimo soggiorno, Francis è molto gentile. La camera è dotata di tutti i comfort e si trova a pochi minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale di Bruges.

Nuestra habitacion era 2 piso por escalera con el baño saliendo de la habitación. En dias calurosos el ventilador no es suficiente. La habitación y el baño estan muy bien

Op de kamer was slechts 1 stoel, en s'avonds met z'n vieren wat napraten was ongemakkelijk door gebrek aan stoelen

The location was good and was an easy walk to the main attractions. The instructions were clear and the welcome beers were nice.

It did feel like you were staying at your uncles home or something of the sorts. The bathroom was not en-suite but I guess that was in the description. It was fine for a few days.

Le Nid du Prince is a beautiful home in a great location near the heart of Bruges. We loved our room, it was large and immaculate with a large comfy double bed. The ensuite was off the bedroom (other room was off the corridor). Plenty of hot water. Nespresso coffee maker. Insect mesh on windows so we could have the windows open. Francis the host was very helpful and welcoming.

Très bon accueil, proximité de la ville, bons conseils (parking extérieur, plan donné à l'arrivée), proposition de garder nos bagages plus longtemps en sécurité pour continuer de profiter de la ville.

L'ajout de 2 chaises pour pouvoir prendre une boisson, petit déjeuner assis serait bien.

Very value for money. Cozy and very clean . Francis was very kind and helpful with everything we needed !

Le logement est très bien situé. Tout peut se faire à pied. La chambre est propre et bien équipée. Des petites attentions sont présentes : bières, café, thés, gels douche. C’est un plus. L’hôte, Francis, est de bons conseils et à l’écoute. Le logement propose un parking en supplément (20€ par nuit) ce qui permet de garer sa voiture facilement.

Ce n’est pas négatif mais à noter que la salle de bain de la chambre vue sur rue (chambre double) est séparée, elle est sur le palier du hall pour accéder aux chambres. Elle est cependant privatisée pour la chambre, ce qui est positif. Ce n’est pas noté clairement lors de la réservation.

L’emplacement est idéal, pas plus que 15min de la Grote Markt et de toutes les commodités. La chambre est de taille correcte, mais je la recommanderais plutôt pour un séjour de courte durée (2 à 3 jours). Elle était bien chauffée et globalement propre. Avec une machine à café et un petit frigo c'était parfait.Nous avons également apprécié le geste de bienvenue avec des bières offertes, même si nous ne consommons pas vraiment d’alcool.On savait que le WC était en dehors de la chambre et honnêtement ça ne nous a pas posé un problème. La communication avec Francis a été excellente : il était toujours disponible et répondait rapidement à toutes nos questions, petites ou grandes. De plus, l’arrivée s’est faite très facilement et le séjour a été globalement très agréable.

Une légère odeur des égouts est présente à l’entrée du bâtiment, mais cela ne pose aucun problème dans la chambre, située au deuxième étage. Il s’agit d’une maison de maître, donc l’isolation phonique est limitée : on entend facilement les bruits, ce qui peut réduire un peu l’intimité.Le lit pas très confortable.

La situación muy cercana al centro pero en una calle muy tranquila. El baño es muy bonito y amplio, pero está fuera de la habitación.

Que para acceder al baño hay que salir de la habitación, con lo que no tienes un grifo ni un inodoro en la misma habitación, sino saliendo al descansillo donde pierdes toda la intimidad.

Very comfortable, the bed is nice, the bathroom is very spacious and everything was clean. They allow dogs, it is well located and close the centre. Overall it was quite.

Parking is far. Not related to the accommodation, be aware they are fixing the streets in the area, plus that, if it is rainny, you get muddy shoes.

The location is perfect, the place very clean and cosy. The host very nice and helpful.

A bit too little space to sit and talk, or open the computer. A chair would be appreciated.

There was a big shower and small fridge with 2 craft beers in it. It was clean. Very good beds too! The location was super good as well.

It was quite noisy because of the old building and the toilet/bathroom was outside of the room on the shared hallway.

Propriétaire très accueillant, nous a très bien renseigné avant et pendant le séjour, super petit déjeuner, service proposé très bien et le B&B est très bien situé pour décompresser et découvrir la ville à pied !

Many stairs and narrow winding staircase. Should warn guests as we’re in our 70s and there wasn’t any assistance offered.

A casa é muito bem localizada, possibilitando ir para o centro à pé. Ficamos no quarto "La chambre de la Princesse", com uma vista bonita para a rua. O quarto é bem equipado, com cama, TV, mesa com cadeiras, frigobar, armário e uma pequena copa com itens para café e chá. O banheiro é bem amplo e parece ter sido reformado.

O banheiro fica para fora do quarto, no corredor, o que diminui um pouco a privacidade. Tivemos um pequeno empecilho com a porta do banheiro no início da estadia, mas que foi resolvido com rapidez pelo Francis. Vale enfatizar que os quartos ficam no terceiro andar.

Great location and dog friendly

Francis our host was very friendly and gave us helpful information. We felt very welcome. The rooms were nice and comfortable. And it was warm during the cold winter weather. The property was in a great location. Very close to the centre of the city, and on a quiet street.

Host was friendly and gave some good recommendations, parking close by available with reservation, walkable distance from the centre, historic building and our dog was free of charge. Big clean bathroom.

Very noisy house and little privacy with other guests, you can hear conversations and people coming up the stairs. I was unaware that our bathroom was outside our room (right next to it) and private for us but did not feel entirely comfortable taking a shower when other guests passed by. Not ideal if you stay several days and need to wash your cups and glasses in the bathroom. By coincidence my bottle rolled under the bed and we found lots of dust, coins and an old drink from a previous guest... That was very unpleasant. Otherwise the room was clean. We were not aware that we need to leave the car parking in the morning as well. We were pretty sure it was possible to leave the car for a couple of hours as the next guest check in was supposed to happen in the afternoon. I guess that was just miscommunication.

La atención desde un principio fue clara y perfecta, nos han indicado el paso a paso de cómo acceder y de hecho nos permitieron hacer el checking antes del horario determinado. La habitación es perfecta. El baño con bañera es increíble. Nos dejaron insumos de agua, café cerveza té , champú jabón … la climatización del espacio también es perfecta. Nos han preguntado durante todo el estancia si necesitábamos algo y estábamos bien. El Hotel está situado en un area hermosa y súper accesible.

Muy buena ubicación. Muy cerca del centro. Al llegar Francis nos atendió por wasap muy amablemente y nos dejó en la habitación café y bebida de cortesía.

El baño, a pesar de ser un baño privado renovado, estaba fuera de la habitación, en un descansillo cerca de otra habitación. Para ir a la habitación había que subir hasta un segundo piso por unas escaleras pequeñas y estrechas. Interior del edificio bastante antiguo.

Très bon rapport qualité prix pour une chambre très confortable sous les toits, vue sur jardin, très bonne literie. La maison est située dans un endroit calme de Bruges, dans une jolie petite rue près d' un canal, mais on rejoint très vite la Grand Place.

De lokatie is prima, vlak bij het historisch centrum. De kamer is lekker ruim, met een fijn bed en de badkamer en suite.

Wat tegenviel is dat er geen ontbijt inbegrepen was, ook al is het een B&B. Noem het dan een guesthouse met ontbijtoptie.

Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein. Franz der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wenn man eine Frage hat, kann man sich jederzeit an ihn wenden. Das Häuschen ist ganz süß restauriert mit viel Liebe zum Detail!!!

Man schläft direkt unterm Dach und wenn es wirklich heiß ist, hilft auch der Ventilator nichts. Das Be.-und Ausladen des Gepäcks.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Im Zimmer hat es eine kleine Küche mit Kühlschrank inkl Getränke 😋

Es fehlte uns eine persöhnliche Begrüssung, die Benachrichtigung auf Booking waren immer korrekt. Wenn wir fragen hatten, kam die Antwort verzögert. Im Bad fanden sich noch Haare des Vorgängers.

This property was fantastic. Quiet, comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The host Francis even picked us up from the train station on short notice and was very kind to us, sharing some interesting things about the city on our drive to the house. The location was perfect, close to a few cafes and probably less than 5 minutes walk into the town centre. Good value for money, would highly recommend. :)

Superb location to explore Brugge. Wonderful and helpful hosts who let us leave our bags early and late. Quite and comfortable room, easy check in. Very close to three laundromats. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Very central location, free beer in fridge, good communication from host, very clean room, comfortable bed, good facilities.

The bathroom. Marked as private, but recent work shows the door was moved from the bedroom to the landing, so the door to the bathroom is on the public landing. The bathroom itself was lovely, but would be better if accessed from the room itself.

location superb, option of parking near by, dog friendly. Owner very friendly.

the steps up to the room are quite steep so do need to be aware but fine for us, just had to carry the dogs up.

Great location for access to all locations in Bruges centre. Could walk to everything. As we had our dog with us, we could even walk to the vets for her worming before returning to the UK. Parked the car up in the private area of a multistorey arranged through the hotel and didn't need it at all. Also cheaper than finding your own parking. A bit of a trek to the carpark but you can drop off first when you check in.

Our bathroom entrance was off the landing outside our room, not off our room, but that is probably due to limited space in the attic of an old large townhouse. It still served its purpose though.

Charming location, walkable to city center. Cute room with large beautiful bathroom. I had the room where the bathroom had a separate entrance from the hallway. Liked it. You may need a code to enter the building the first time if the owner is not available, pay attention to your email messages before arriving.

It’s an old house, but the rooms are beautiful, clean, and cozy.

Quiet and peaceful. Close to main square . Checked in easily late in the night. 2 quality ales in fridge in room was much appreciated.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant, the hotel is very well-situated. Inside, everything was clean, the hotel had such a home-like feeling, the bathroom and the breakfast hall were nice and the owner was friendly - we even got 2 beers for free :)

It’s not the cheapest option if you’re traveling on a low budget, the breakfast wasn’t the cheapest either. And the staircase is a bit narrow and steep, which makes it hard to get the luggage upstairs.

Really good location in the centre of Bruges. The room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Every comfort had been thought about and provided:- tea and coffee making facilities, a welcome beer and a mini fridge. Being able to have a bath was a treat. Great communication with the owner before and during the visit. Owner allowed us to use a parking space a little walk from the property at reasonable cost.

Nothing to report here. Although if stairs are an issue for you, accessing the room may be tricky. It's in the roof space. We didn't have breakfast - so I can't comment but other reviewers were impressed.
