La Casa Del Mono

The staff, Camila and Paula, were exceptionally warm, welcoming and nice. They made our stay so much comfortable. Their pizzas on the top of the property overlooking Santa Marta was one of the best dinners we have had.

Unser Aufenthalt im Casa del Mono war definitiv eines der Highlights unserer Kolumbienreise. Schon vor unserer Ankunft konnten wir über WhatsApp Kontakt aufnehmen, Details klären und ganz unkompliziert einen Abholservice vom Flughafen buchen. Vor Ort wurden wir dann von Camila unglaublich herzlich begrüßt und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Dieses Gefühl hat uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts begleitet: Paula und das ganze Team sind außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Unser geräumiges Chalet war toll ausgestattet. Auch die Küche hatte alles, was man braucht, sogar Kaffeepulver, ein natürliches Filtersystem für Trinkwasser und eine Waschmaschine inklusive Waschpulvervorrat. Der Balkon mit dem großen Hängematten-Netz und die Hängematte innen waren unsere Lieblingsplätze. Die gesamte Anlage ist gepflegt, sehr grün und üppig bewachsen. Vom Chalet aus blickt man fast ausschließlich ins Grüne und hört unzählige Vögel. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Bar oben auf dem Gelände. Die Pizza ist super lecker und John, der Barkeeper, ist total freundlich. Seine Signature Cocktails sind großartig, und ganz nebenbei hat er uns noch gute Tipps für Wanderungen und andere Aktivitäten rund um Minca gegeben. Und dann die postkartenwürdigen Sonnenuntergänge! Von oben blickt man über das grüne Tal bis hinunter nach Santa Marta. Dieser Ausblick wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Sehr praktisch fanden wir außerdem, dass man sich Essen aus Restaurants in Minca ins Casa del Mono liefern lassen kann. Man kann es dann entweder im eigenen Chalet oder oben in der Bar essen. Und wenn man mal in den Ort möchte: Zu Fuß ist man in etwa 15 Minuten im Zentrum von Minca. Wir haben jede Sekunde unserer vier Nächte genossen und wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben. Our stay at Casa del Mono in Minca was truly unforgettable! The cabin was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a beautiful private terrace where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The bar terrace is absolutely magical, offering some of the most breathtaking sunsets we have ever seen. But the real highlight of Casa del Mono is its wonderful staff. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home. Camilla deserves a 20/10—she is truly exceptional and made our stay so special! John and his brother at the bar were fantastic, and the lovely ladies serving breakfast were always so kind and welcoming. Every interaction was filled with warmth and positive energy. Casa del Mono is much more than just a beautiful place to stay—it is a place with heart, made unforgettable by the amazing people who work there. We left with wonderful memories and would return without hesitation!

The only downside was that the bed was not very comfortable, but everything else was absolutely exceptional.

La cálida bienvenida de todo el personal, unas cabañas preciosas en un entorno espectacular y un bar mirador con terrazas y espacios increíbles, atardeceres de ensueño y cocteles espectaculares. Un lugar mágico al que sin duda volveríamos.

Locatie was top. Natuur & mooie uitzichten. Personeel was zeer behulpzaam, enthousiast en vriendelijk. Eten & drinken was heerlijk.

Traumhafte Lage mitten im Grünen mit vielen Vögeln und toller Aussicht. Trotzdem nah an Minca und einfach erreichbar. Tolle große Hütten mit viel Platz und eigener Terrasse. Super Bar und frisches Frühstück mit toller Aussicht. Das Beste: Das Personal!! Super nett und hilfreich, und sie verstehen dass ein Hotelaufenthalt erst durch das Personal zu etwas Besonderem wird. Erstklassig! Vielen Dank an Camila und Paula.

You stay here for the peace and quiet and the view. And the view really is amazing. We actually saw a toekan from our balcony, we were lucky! It is reasonably quiet but not in the middle of nowhere. You have neighbors nearby who play really loud music. The house itself it beautiful but one thing is really missing here and that is airconditioning. You can enjoy the house in the morning and evening but during the day it’s too hot. I love the warmth but even for me this was way too hot. 🥵 there are power outs every day and somehow they choose not to use there back up generator which also leaves you without a ventilator. It’s nice that they have a washing machine. Overall I felt it was way too expensive for what you get.

Friendly and informative staff, great bar with amazing sunset view, and very high quality facilities. The cabin was very spacious. The bar was a particular highlight, with a bonfire every night. Great walks in the local area and we especially liked the walk to Marinka

De upgrade die we kregen was fenomenaal! Elke dag wakker worden met mega veel verschillende vogel geluiden was top. Het appartement was met heel veel Mooie materialen gemaakt. Veel zorg besteed aan kwaliteit!

Geen airco maar ventilator waardoor het overdag wel heel warm was in het appartement.

La vue incroyable, des couchers de soleil de rêve. Léon et son équipe sont au petit soin, on ne se lasse pas des cocktails devant le coucher du soleil, les oiseaux et la vue ! Bonus feu de camp pour profiter de la soirée. Salle de bain au top. Carafe filtrante pour avoir de l'eau à volonté. Super literie Léon nous a même aidé à rapatrier des affaires oubliées On recommande+++++ N'hésitez pas à y passer plusieurs nuits.

Incredible place! Very friendly service, communication was very easy through WhatsApp with Leon. Room had an incredible view and you can really hear the birds and the sounds of the forest! The viewpoint is really the best, with amazing drinks and bartender. Will come back!

Sehr viel grün und schöner Ausblick. Der Host - ein gebürtiger Argentinier - war sehr nett und hat schnell geantwortet. Das Casa ist relativ gross mit grossem balkon.

Habe nachts nicht gut schlafen können. Da das holzhaus nur gitter und keine Glasfenster hat, war Schlaf etwas unruhig und kühl. Preis ist doch erwas hoch für Minna generell. Lampen waren etwas dunkel.

Nous avons passé deux nuits incroyables à La Casa del Mono à Minca. L’endroit est magnifique, en pleine nature, avec une atmosphère très paisible et dépaysante. On se réveille avec les sons de la jungle et une vue superbe, ce qui rend l’expérience vraiment unique. L’accueil a été très chaleureux et toute l’équipe a été attentionnée pendant notre séjour. On se sent rapidement comme à la maison. L’endroit est parfait pour se déconnecter, se reposer et profiter de la nature autour de Minca. Un grand merci pour ces deux jours mémorables. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésiter et reviendrons avec plaisir !

A lovely large property. We were lucky as stayed in TiTi so didn't have to walk up lots of steps to get to it. The bar at the look out was good but there were a family using drones whilst watching the sunset which is quite off putting and intrusive. The staff were all very friendly and very easy to communicate with.

There needed to be an outside table to sit and eat from. Don't want to Cook to have to then sit inside. I know they say there is a problem with mosquitos but we didnt get bitten using jungle formula. They also have tables at the look out which would be perfect to use on the patio.

De plek was erg fijn. Ook om even tot rust te komen. Fijne bedden en een warme douche en veel ruimte.

Nothing! It is a bit of a walk up the hill from the town (15 min maybe) but an easy and cheap ride up with the moto taxis. We didn’t mind at all but good to be aware

Vue magnifique, très bien situé à Minca pour profiter de l’environnement, maison très confortable et très bien équipée (machine à laver ++). Personnel adorable et accueillant.

Die Unterkunft ist nagelneu und super liebevoll hergerichtet. Es ist alles sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gebaut und eingerichtet worden. Ich mochte das Netz auf der Terrasse und die Hängematte total gerne. Man erreicht Minca zu Fuß und für unsere Rückreise wurde ein Fahrer organisiert, der pünktlich auf uns gewartet hat. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort und kommen definitiv wieder. Leon ist ein super freundlicher Gastgeber und es war uns ein große Freude einen Tag unseres Urlaubs bei ihm zu verbringen.

Tudo! A cabana é linda, limpa, decorada com muito bom gosto e tem uma vista simplesmente espetacular! Fomos com nossos filhos de 6 e 8 anos e nos sentimos perfeitamente seguros e confortáveis. Fomos muito bem recebidos por Federico, que nos deu de cortesia frutas frescas e um vinho! Tínhamos à nossa disposição um livro com muitas informações sobre a região e serviços disponíveis (como restaurantes, massagens, passeios), mas o próprio Federico nos passou todas as dicas e orientações e sempre esteve disponível para qualquer necessidade. A cabana está muito bem equipada com utensílios de cozinha, máquina de lavar roupa, varal, ventiladores, lanterna, repelente, binóculo, guarda-chuvas e um filtro de água, o que é muito conveniente. Também gostamos muito de termos diversos jogos à nossa disposição. As crianças amaram! O banheiro é ótimo e o chuveiro tem água quente. As camas e travesseiros são confortáveis. Subir no mirante para ver o pôr do sol é uma experiência imperdível! Vista maravilhosa, recepção calorosa do barman John e suas bebidas deliciosas. Enfim, amamos nossa estadia na Casa del Mono! Um lugar para relaxar e apreciar a natureza. Muito obrigada por tudo!

Beautiful location. A peaceful oasis. We didn’t have a car and so walked on and out of Minca. Certainly got our exercise! The staff were very helpful and friendly! The evening sunset patio is lovely!

Eine unfassbar liebevolle Unterkunft mit noch netterem Personal. Sogar nach unserem Aufenthalt konnten wir über WhatsApp mit Frederico in Kontakt bleibe, um passende Transporte zu organisieren und Tipps einzuholen! 11/10 für diese Unterkunft!!!

Well worth the little splurge for our group for the best chalet. The owner Leon met us on arrival even though we didn't know what time we would arrive, showing us our room with a spectacular view - very clean, well equipped kitchen, complementary local coffee (and even a great bottle of wine) and local recommendations. The nightly bar was great to have and since we didn't have a car, they helped us order food to be delievered to us (Lazy Cat was pretty good). We would stay again despite the ~15-20min walk up the hill if you walk into town during the day.

Honestly, nothing - while we would have loved to have a pool after the uphill afternoon climbs from town since it cools down in Minca, we see that it would be alot to maintain a pool for a relatively small property. We would hide in the shade or take a cool shower upon return

We stayed at La Casa del Mono and had a fantastic experience overall. The cabins are lovely and comfortable, and the views from the bar are absolutely magnificent. The bartender was excellent, serving great cocktails and creating a really nice atmosphere. The location is close to the road, so there can be some occasional noise from mototaxis going up and down to nearby glampings, but it didn’t take away from our stay. The owner, León, and the manager, Paula, were outstanding hosts. Our stay coincided with a marriage proposal, and León went above and beyond to help make it special—even surprising us with a bottle of cava. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, with great hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and a memorable experience. We would definitely recommend it.

Our two bedroom cabin boasted beautiful views, smart TV, fully stocked kitchen, coffee, filtered drinking water, games, hot shower, and tasteful design. 15 minute walk to town down a mountain so we always took a local taxi back for 30,000 COP. Staff are very friendly and helpful with recommendations.

La Casa del Mono is absolute paradise. It's a boutique property with 4 large bungalows set on the hill above Minca town. The bungalows are absolutely heaven with a view over the valley down to Santa Marta, from both 'inside' (there are no windows, just screens to keep bugs out) and the large balcony. It is extremely well appointed with a large kitchen and even a washing machine which was very much appreciated after a muddy day of quad biking. Paula is super lovely and helpful and able to arrange whatever is needed and John at the bar makes a mean Caprioska. The property is isolated enough to be extremely chilled and relaxing, but only a 5-minute drive to the bustling Minca town.

Absolutely nothing!

First of all this is a beautiful place! Not only Minca but especially La Casa Del Mono. It’s right in the middle of nature and the air is beautifully refreshing. Just the right place to relax and enjoy nature. We really liked the team (Paula, Leon, John & Alex) who supported us with guidance and hospitality before we arrived, during our stay and even after we left. We had one of the larger cabins with four people. It was very spacious, clean, fully equipped with kitchen utensils and board games. The own terrace provided an amazing view. But also the deck and bar at the top was a great spot to relax, pass time and meet other people. The walk to the town center was approx. 10 minutes downhill and approx. 15 minutes uphill. Just when it is dark we recommend to use your cellphone flashlight for visibility. The delivery service from restaurants in town worked well and the team can help you with ordering. Overall our stay exceeded our expectations and we extended for one more night spontaneously.

I stayed for two nights and wished I had booked longer. The location is perfect. Peaceful, surrounded by nature and close to both the town square and Pozo Azul waterfalls. The views, especially from the viewpoint were stunning. The staff were excellent and Paula deserves special mention for her attentive and helpful support throughout my stay. A fantastic place to relax, enjoy nature, and experience the beauty of the Minca, Sierra Nevada. Highly recommended.

The place was amazing private yet close to restaurant and downtown Minca. Fabulous view and Leon was an amazing host. They have their own bar and they help you get food delivered to the property if you decide to stay in for the night. 100% recommend it.

Massive bungalow, (for 2 of us) set up with a Kitchen and all the required equipment to use it properly. The washing machine was a great extra too. The balcony was great with the netted laying area. The site is only 1km from town so a walk down and to surrounding areas was easy. Plenty of moto taxi options to run you back up the hill to the front gate when done. The viewpoint and bar were great! Great staff and great communication from Paula from start to finish! Hard to believe we had better wifi & hot water here than we did in Santa Marta & Burritaca! Highly recommend.

A pool would top it off, if I’m being picky! However, we knew this when booking, as well as no on-site restaurant. But we were happy to get a break from all of that.

- Aussichtspunkt einzigartig. Wunderschön! - Bei der Ausstattung der Unterkunft wurde an alles gedacht (Regenschirm, Taschenlampe, Spiele, komplette Kochausrüstung) - Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und organisiert alles, was man benötigt. Alle sprechen auch englisch. - Paula (Managerin) hat uns den Transport nach Minca und nach Palomino organisiert und ist den ganzen Tag für alle Fragen per Whatsapp erreichbar. - Leon (Besitzer) hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen uns gezeigt wie alles funktioniert. - Die Unterkunft liegt nur 15 Gehminuten von Minca Stadt entfernt (die meisten ähnlichen Unterkünfte sind viel weiter weg). - Die Drinks an der Bar (von John) sind alle sehr lecker und da er gleichzeitig auch Tourguide ist, kann man bei ihm auch gleich Touren (in englisch oder spanisch) buchen. - Man kann über John oder einen Lieferservice essen in die Unterkunft liefern lassen. Wir haben das jeweils für das Nachtessen gemacht und konnten dann mit dieser schönen Aussicht unser Essen geniessen. - Badezimmer und Küche sehr modern. - Guter Schutz durch Mückennetz ums Haus und über den Betten (falls benötigt).

- Das Haus liegt wie ganz Minca im Dschungel, deshalb kann es teilweise Insekten im Haus haben, wobei es in dieser Unterkunft viel weniger sind als üblich. - Aktuell gibt es nur Unterkünfte für vier Personen (zwei Kingsize-Betten), wobei dies uns bewusst war.

The views from the balcony and the view point are unmatched in Minca. It’s so peaceful and the cabins are well equipped for what you need.

As the cabins don’t have windows (just mosquito nets) it can get quite chilly in the evenings - they do provide blankets to make sleeping more comfortable but would have been useful to have that knowledge in advance to pack accordingly.

Truly an amazing place. I spent a long time looking for the right stay around Minca, and I’m really glad I chose La Casa Del Mono. Our stay was fantastic - beautiful, charming, and surprisingly mosquito-free thanks to the well-designed mosquito nets all around the house. We did see a few tiny ants, but nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not bothersome. The location is excellent: close to hiking trails, restaurants, and Minca itself. It’s easy to access (not on some difficult off-road path!), yet still feels private, peaceful, and cozy. We heard some distant music one evening, but it didn’t last long. The real soundtrack was the monkeys in the morning -once we even saw them walking through the trees nearby! The host was super friendly, helpful, and very communicative. A solid 5-star stay.

First off, the best part of the whole place was the amazing team, especially Paula! We can’t thank you enough for taking such great care of us and helping out with transportation and planning things around the area. The place itself is pure heaven on earth. You wouldn’t believe how refreshed and full of energy you’ll feel surrounded by those beautiful mountains and stunning views. The cabins are spotless, super clean sheets, towels, everything. The bar in the afternoon is the perfect spot to hang out until midnight, and John, the friendly bartender, makes it even better with his delicious drinks. Casa del Mono is highly recommended, I left feeling so refreshed and full of good vibes.

I've stayed in a lot of lodge-type places across Africa and Asia, but have never stayed in one where every single thing is thought about and considered. Casa de Mono has a few different lodges scattered around in the grounds. We stayed in the one called 'Cabaña Aulladur' which from what I can tell has the best view. The lodge is seriously kitted out. It has everything from yoga mats and hiking sticks to torches and a first aid kit. It has a hammock inside and out, has all the appliances you could want to cook and eat with, and even a washing machine, water filtration system and TV. Furthermore, arriving to a complementary fruit bowl and bottle of wine is adorable. It's all very well designed, beautifully curated and despite having lovely soft furnishings and plenty of pillows and cushions, it doesn't smell damp. Quite a feat! Paula is so informative and was so helpful before arrival and on arrival. She was also on hand throughout our stay (Alex too) and helped organise transportation to La Victoria coffee farm, and even getting a takeaway dropped off to our lodge from a restaurant in the village. What fabulous service! The bar area and view point (open 1600-2100) within the grounds serve delicious and creative cocktails using local produce and other drinks - a perfect way to watch an amazing sunset with Lisa - the friendliest cat! They'll even set a table for you and help you get a takeaway delivered from any restaurant in town, if you don't feel like the 15 minute walk. This place was so beautiful we didn't want to leave. It truly was a spectacular stay!

My partner and I recently had the immense pleasure of spending three nights at Casa del Mono during our honeymoon, and it was, without exaggeration, absolutely stunning. Tucked away in the mountains of Minca, this location is an absolute paradise that offered us the perfect romantic escape. The first thing that hits you is the breathtaking view. From our cabin, we overlooked the lush, rolling hills—a sight that truly never gets old and provides the most incredible backdrop for morning coffee and sunset cocktails. It’s the kind of view you see on postcards, but infinitely better in person. What truly set Casa del Mono apart was the meticulous attention to detail. Every aspect of our stay was flawlessly managed; we literally didn't need to lift a finger for anything outside of our own food and drinks. The accommodation felt completely self-contained and perfectly equipped, showing that every single detail was thought out. The entire location, from the common areas to the fantastic bar, was kept spotless thanks to the incredible staff. Every person we interacted with was welcoming, attentive, and professional, ensuring our stay was seamless and stress-free. The entire team made us feel like royalty. We loved every single moment of our stay and couldn't recommend Casa del Mono highly enough, especially for couples seeking an idyllic, detail-oriented, and scenic retreat. It's a memory we'll cherish forever.

Overal is aan gedacht, mooie cabin, ruime kamers, groot balkon met prachtig uitzicht. Bij aankomst staat er fruit, gekoeld water en wijn klaar!

What I liked most was the atmosphere and just being in nature the decor was so nice and the hosts were amazing!

Stunning cabin up the hill 10 mins from minca town but feels like you’re in your own little oasis. Great facilities and so much space. The viewpoint bar is also stunning to watch the sunset

We stayed in the Superior chalet for 3 nights which was spectacular, with the most stunning balcony and views over the Sierra Nevada and Santa Marta. We arrived in Minca tired after a lot of travelling and left truly rejuvenated. Such special memories made here and Paula is an outstanding host. The cocktails from the bar along with the views from the Mirador viewpoint were breathtaking. Our best stay in Colombia and I would recommend it 1000%.

It’s a bit of a climb but worth every step

La Casa del Mono is the perfect cabin “in the woods (jungle)”. We visited with our 7 month old baby and my dad and we all had the best time! They’ve made sure to keep the cabin (chalet) very cozy, modern, and comfortable. We really loved it! It’s worth mentioning the viewpoint at the property… it’s just the best view in Minca!

One of the best accomodations we have ever stayed in! In the middle of nature with incredible views from the balcony. A huge cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining room etc. Even on rainy days it is enjoyable spending time here. It is walking distance from the town and all waterfalls in the area. Excellent communication with Paula who made our stay so comfortable!

As the cabin is in nature there can be many bugs inside as well as occasional power outages. Like in all of Minca mosquito repellent is an absolute must.

Schöne Lage und super Aussicht.

La gérante est très professionnelle et sympathique. Elle a vraiment facilité tout notre séjour. La cabane est confortable avec une super douche chaude et tous les produits. La cabane est bien équipée, en cuisine, dans les chambres, salle de bain et il y a des jeux. Quand il fait beau, le balcon est sympa, proche de la nature. Les lits sont confortables. Les services proposés sont également pratiques. Et le top du top, nous avons passé une super soirée simple et jolie pour le coucher du soleil au Mirador et au bar. L'ambiance était géniale, tranquille, confortable et avec une belle vue. Les cocktails sont super bons. Et on nous a aidé à commander à manger en livraison. Merci!

Quel dommage pour la pluie au début de notre séjour mais on ne choisit pas la météo. Sinon RAS.

The ‘cabin’ was decorated in a very tasteful way. We loved the deck and especially also the mirador just above the cabin where you could go for a sundowner / cocktails. Paula was very helpful and explained how we could order food to either the mirador or the cabin. We loved the sounds of the jungle and used the provided yoga mats early in the morning overlooking the jungle. A wonderful and restful stay.

Nothing! We had a slight problem with the shower, but it was immediately fixed by Alex when we explained to Paula.

The accommodation was amazing and I wish we would have stayed longer. Great views and all you need in the apartment. Also, Paula was a very friendly and helpful host. She even stayed a bit longer to welcome us as we had troubles getting to Minca due to a huge thunderstorm.

Heel mooi groot huisje, prachtig uitzicht zowel vanaf het enorme terras als vanaf het uitzichtspunt waar ook een heel leuk barretje is met heerlijke cocktails (wij hadden het hoogste huisje met 2 slaapkamers waar je alles heel goed zag). We werden al vroeg wakker door de brulapen en de vogels. De service en vriendelijkheid van het personeel was bijzonder goed. We werden welkom geheten met een uitgebreide uitleg. In het huisje stond een fles wijn, lagen spelletjes, er lag fruit, er is een wasmachine, verrekijker, paraplu’s, kortom aan alles was gedacht. Wij hadden best veel regen maar ook dan kan je bij het uitzichtspunt zitten en er is een food delivery service van verschillende restaurants naar de bar of je huisje. John, de barman, is ook een tourguide, en kan je allerlei tips geven en runt zelf ook tours. Verder een aantal keer gebruik gemaakt van de motor taxi’s, goedkoop en makkelijk. Bv van het dorpje terug naar de accomodatie en ook naar een waterval waar zij veel verder door kunnen dan een auto. Kortom Casa del Mono is een absolute aanrader!

Niks waar de accomodatie wat aan kan doen maar in de jungle zitten nu eenmaal muggen dus neem wat stevigs mee. Daarnaast is het wel even een korte klim naar je huisje maar dan heb je ook wel een top uitzicht.

We had an awesome view from the terrace and were lucky to book the highest cabin, which offered views over the forest and out to the sea. Everything was perfect 👌 greeted by a bottle of wine 🍷so many thoughtful touches - board games, yoga mats, umbrellas, washing machine, Netflix, and eco water filter. The Mirador and the bar area, run by John, was so well designed with the fireplace, nets, games, and excellent atmospheric lighting! You will love it!

4x4 taxi needed to get up the steep drive. If you don't have a 4x4 taxi, Alex will help you with the bags!

The staff were super friendly and helpful, the viewpoint upstairs is beautiful with a great bar (good cocktails!) The cabin has a lot of space and is well served when you arrive! It’s a 10 minute walk downhill (and back uphill) to go to the center, which is fine. There is a great welcome book with good tips, also for a cab or motortaxi. Would definitely recommend the place!

It’s what you prefer, the cabin has mosquitoes nets to close it off but for us that didn’t help enough for rainy season. So not something bad but good to take into account. They do offer mosquito nets & multiple fans for the bed, so for sleeping it works well.

I had an amazing night at La Casa del Mono with my dad. The cabin and the lookout/bar area are gorgeous. Amazing hospitality from Eugenia who greeted us and explained everything in detail, and super cocktails from Jon. The Espiritual cocktail was to die for. Lastly, it was amazing to wake up in feeling half-in nature. I'm a little scared of creepy crawlies but the cabin is well sealed while still feeling authentic and one with nature.

A paradise in the jungle

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and helped order me breakfast from local restaurant. The cabin was huge and contained everything you might need, including yoga mats, water filter, hammock etc, with a huge deck overlookiong the forest. The sunset viewpoint and bar has a nice friendly and chilled vibe.

The location is good as you can easily walk into town or to some of the waterfalls. However bear in mind that it is not completely quiet. There is music from nearby properties, traffic sounds from the road etc. During the night it was quiet apart form an occasional vehicle passing, but morning and during the day it is more intrusive to the natural surroundings.

Amazing property. Incredible views from the lookout point. Cabin was huge with amazing facilities. Host was really helpful and communicative. Short walk from town, with nice cafe across the road.

Perfect place !!

The house is super nice. Has everything you need for your stay. You need to know that you won’t get the best view one but also others are nice. Is really good location in Minca specially if you want a but of peace and don’t want to spend a lot of money for taxi every time you want to go to city. This location is 10 minutes by walk.

The place is easily accessible but still gives the feeling of being very isolated and remote. The view from the viewpoint is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful sunsets. The waterfilter us great.

Expect some noise at night from the animals and the street and bring Mosquito repellent.

A complete retreat in the heart of nature, you can watch birds and monkeys right from the bed. The host, Paula, is very helpful and makes the stay even more enjoyable.

We booked the 2 bedroom for our family of 4 and were blown away! The incredible views, the craftsmanship and quality of the place, the fun board games, the water filter, the list goes one. The kids loved the hammock and playing fort with the shelving unit/nooks in the bedroom. Wish we could stay longer, glad we booked 2 nights as it takes a while to get used to living in the jungle. It’s open air but the bedrooms and bathroom are pretty enclosed and everything is netted - we’ve stayed in pure open air places and were bitten alive, this was not the case here. It’s also easy to get to from town unlike some other places that have super bumpy steep roads to get to.

Roosters crowing early in the morning but that’s part of the experience! There’s also occasional ants so don’t leave any bags open and keep on top of washing dishes and wiping food up.

This cabin was absolutely stunning - a beautiful place to stay in Minca ! Everything was well made and the cabin was more spacious than anticipated with a large balcony and stunning views over the jungle

Spacious, immersed in the jungle, excellent design/build, great fresh air flow, very accommodating staff, easy to use guidebook for anything you could need, comfortable beds with quality pillows and sheets, great bird watching opportunities, fully stocked kitchen appliances and utensils, washing machine

A few ants in living area were a small nuisance but really this is to be expected in a bungalow in the jungle. You just had to be diligent not to drop any food and wipe up counter space immediately after use. The hill up to the cabins can be daunting (my mom is 70 years old) but really, it’s entirely worth the effort because the area and views are amazing.

It’s a really beautiful luxury cabin, complete with kitchen, dining, living areas. All the tools to be able to cook. Potable water, games and a huge terrace to relax on. Staff are amazing! And only about 15mins downhill to the small village where there are loads of places to eat and drink!

The chalet is set in a beautiful location amongst trees above the town of Minca It is very new and spacious and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Paula the host has great attention to detail and nothing is too much trouble
