The White Box Villa - Genting Highland Foot Area

We stayed for 2 nights at this property for a staycation with my friends, and it was such a happy and memorable experience. The environment was lovely and relaxing, and the place was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were also incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again! Highly recommended! ✨

The location was fantastic and the host was excellent. They really quick to respond and helpful throughout our stay. One night we were travelling with our baby and wanted to cook dinner late, around 11pm, but couldn't get the cooker to turn on. I messaged the host and they replied and sorted it out for us straight away, guiding us through how to get it working. The place was clean, beautifully kept, and the facilities were very well equipped, so we had everything we needed. This was my second stay, about a year after the first, and the property was just as neat and beautiful as before. it hasn't aged at all.

The only downside was some insects, though we understand that's not really within the host's control. To their credit, they did the fogging and took all the necessary steps to prevent us from getting any more, which we really appreciated.

Had a great stay in here. Love the vibes, everything is cleaned well.

Despite being build from containers, the living dwellings were constructed well, with very cozy interiors. The on-site staff were very attentive, and the premise was cleaned frequently, with the on-site staff reloading our towels or toiletries as needed. Any request at night were also entertained.

Insects, but that is not the fault of the property or the host. It is an inherent issue for any property so close to nature.

The water heater in the outer room should be checked. It constantly has low water pressure and water heater being not working.

We had such a wonderful stay at The White Box Villa! 🌿 The villa itself was beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable — every corner felt so thoughtfully designed. The rooms were all prepped before our arrival, air-con already running, which made us feel so welcomed right away. A big highlight for us was the bonfire experience — the host helped set everything up and it was such a cosy, memorable night. Speaking of the host, they were truly exceptional: super helpful, attentive, and so sweet in every way. From the smallest details to making sure we had everything we needed, their hospitality made our trip extra special. Highly recommend this villa if you’re looking for a relaxing, comfy getaway near Genting. We’ll definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at your villa for 2 days and 1 night — thank you so much for creating such a cozy and well-equipped space! Everything was clean, tidy, and super comfortable. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the air-conditioning, water heater, TV with YouTube, water dispenser, shampoo, body wash, reliable WiFi — and especially the warm support from your staff, who were always available to help whenever we needed anything. 🌟 The mini golf, campfire setup, rooftop deck, and the kids' messy play stone area were such fun additions — we had a great time exploring every corner! Just a small suggestion: the water pressure in the outside room could be stronger, and the car porch felt a little dim at night. But honestly, those are tiny things compared to the overall great experience. Thanks again for being such a welcoming host — we’d love to come back someday!

Wendy, our host, was fantastic—super responsive and made sure everything was perfect. We especially loved BBQ areas, there is even a sheltered one, which was helpful as it was drizzling. We spent hours grilling and chatting away. The convenience stores just a short drive away, If you're looking for a peaceful yet luxurious getaway, this villa is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

It was quite a surprise that there were lots of “fly ants” when we back from our dinner, it could be due to the rainy weather. Maybe the host could pre-empt us so that the customer will be ready for it.

The place was cute and modern. The environment with all the greenery, the pond full of fishes are just magnificent... I have seen hosts attentive to the needs and requests of their hosts, but this host took these services to a whole another level!

Staff and host very helpful, responsive and prompt. Camp fire at night would have been fun but night temp was not cooling enough to make it enjoyable. Tuesday night market and seafood restaurants at nearby Kampung Bukit Tinggi. Near to Bentong and Genting Highlands & GPO

Location wasn't great and there isn't much to do in vicinity. Condition and facilities is aging and not very well maintained. It is container building. White box upstairs bedroom floor was seeping rust water, presumably from stagnant water accumulated between the 2 stacked containers. Host prompt to clean place up and put some materials over it to prevent seepage thru vinyl flooring. The 2 queen beds bedroom at adjacent main building is too squeezy for 4 pax with no standing room or space to put luggage. Bathroom has no shower curtains allowing water to splash all over making floor wet and slippery. Lots of insect at dawn and dusk, need to have electrical insect zapper. However, mosquito coil provided including daily mosquito fogging at 5pm helps a lot. Car park area not paved, only loose stones. Tv area too small and has seating for 4 pax only. The 2 days we were there, day temp is almost like KL and night time temp is not cooling. The location is not high enough to get cold temp. Maybe wrong month of the year. Overall below expectations when compared to price (rm1300/ night) & what was featured in their promo video.
