Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Einfach unglaublich schöne, friedliche und schöne Lage in der Natur und trotzdem nicht weit weg, um Ausflüge zu machen. Rose und das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich, empfiehlt Dinge und wir hatten zu jederzeit das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Wir genossen es bekocht zu werden und ein paar Stunden im Pool mit atemberaubenden Blick zu verbringen. Der Blick vom Cottage war einfach fantastisch. Danke für alles und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! 😍

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026The location is superb, the house sitting on a Hill overlooking Kota Kinabalu. The view over the City especially at night is absolutely stunning. The cottages are surrounded by beautiful flowers and plant. There are lots of facilities to enjoy your stay, at first the perfectely located pool, that sits on a wooden deck with the best view of the City. The owners are very nice and helpful, and are always ready to assist you in any way, all in all we would definitely recommend to stay there.

Reviewed Mar 6, 2026Pensjonat na górze w cudownym otoczeniu przyrody z widokiem na całe miasto, dżunglę i morze, do tego super basen, wszystko urządzone ze smakiem i bardzo klimatycznie, pokój to jak całe mieszkanie w pełni wyposażona kuchnią, 10 min od rezerwatu gdzie można udać się na samodzielny trening, różne trasy. Największym zaskoczeniem była dla mnie obsługa, przemiła i pomocna, a sama właścicielka obiektu troskliwa i przyjazna, polecam każdemu, jak tylko miałabym możliwość z przyjemnością wróciłabym w to miejsce, bardzo, bardzo dziękujemy Rose ♥️

Reviewed Aug 19, 2025Lovely place, beautify panoramic views of ocean & mountain. Lovely pool & the food was great too (we pre ordered). Lovely quiet stay, away from it all. Nice rooms & facilities very comfy. And the hosts charming, the dogs & cats very friendly too.
As it’s remote, be aware the location to arrive via Grab isn’t correct - but if you ask your driver to use Google Maps it works perfectly! Arriving in daylight recommended.

Reviewed Jul 30, 2025这家宾馆位于半山腰接近山顶的位置视野开阔，有一个正对西方的大露台，能清楚看到十几公里外的海岸线。个人觉得这里看到的日落景色绝对超过到处都是人的丹绒亚路。端着咖啡，坐在露台上欣赏属于自己的日落，太享受了。宾馆的主人很nice，各种服务安排的很周到，老板的儿子也很热情，并且他的中文说的很流利。宾馆的整体设计风格非常独特，各种细节安排的很精致。如果你爱拍照，这里处处能出大片。房间很干净，室外鸟语花香，非常适合放松身心的地方。出大门几百米就是国家森林公园，，环境优美。明年有机会我会再来拜访。
上山的公路如果政府能够把它铺好，还有提供的菜品再丰富一些简直太完美了

Reviewed Jun 27, 2025From the moment we got to the cottage the owners and staff were so welcoming and friendly, we felt right at home. The views from the pool area are amazing especially at sunset. So relaxing sitting around the pool with the sound of the rainforest during the day, and the pool is very clean so great for a swim when it gets too hot. After spending a long time in Asia we love to cook meals that we miss from home so the outdoor kitchen with the BBQ was perfect for us ☺️ My partner and I spent our 10 year anniversary here and honestly, I don’t think we could have picked a better place. They hung a happy anniversary sign in our room and even made us a delicious cake! We went on a hike to the waterfall in the nearby national park and all their dogs came along for the hike which made it even more enjoyable!! Can’t fault this place at all, if we are ever in Borneo again no doubt we will return.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2024We stayed at Sinurambi for 4 nights at the end of a 3 week trip to Sabah. It was the perfect way to end our holiday! Rose and Terry went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. They are excellent hosts and their property is wonderful. Great views and swimming pool plus a handy location near the entrance of the national park. Our children loved the friendly, family dogs (who are all so well looked after and immunised). We would stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends!

Reviewed Jun 6, 2024Such a respite from busy life and words can’t describe the beauty in the view that you’d see when you arrive. Otter’s house was our lodge and it overlooked the same view. The lodge kitchenette and the outdoor kitchen sufficed for any light cooking we made. Rose (the host) and the rest who worked in the B&B made our stay so relaxed and enjoyable. The property is secure with a gate.
The road leading to the property could be filled up where the gullies and holes were getting too big in case lower body kits of cars get damaged. There were quite a number of insects tt tried to enter our lodge but we aren’t complaining. We are in the wild!

Reviewed Feb 1, 2024Everything is fantastic. It is only 30-40 minutes drive from the town but the vie is so much different. You can see the village, the jungle the city and the sea from the platform. It is breathtaking experience when I saw the sun cast the last light upon the islands and the city stars start to shine. The staff took good care of me when I didn’t feel well.

If only there were a bidet and an exhaust fan in the toilet, it would be great 😁

And the staff! ah! There are so many pretty dogs! :) It's such a beautiful place. Even though it is Malaysia, it feels like you are in the mountains of Europe. I will visit again and highly recommend this place.

It is absolutely stunning, the view unbelievable and the hosts just the best! It is been a long time since we‘ve stayed at such a great and personal place! We enjoyed every minute!

Reviewed Jun 23, 2023Sinurambi B&B is beautiful and a really comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and decorated with attention to detail. The room has a well equipped kitchen - Nespresso, fridge, drinking water, cooker, cutlery and a dining table. The property has everything you need - swimming pool, viewing deck, lots of plants and flowers, friendly dogs and fantastic host and team. We had dinner on 2 nights and food was delicious! It was too short a stay for 2 nights.
The charm about sinurambi B&B is definitely because of its location but it also means that it is not that easy to get to unless you have an experienced navigator. Being in that much nature also means mosquitoes and other insects. Be well covered in repellent, especially when you are enjoying the glorious sunset on the deck.

Reviewed Apr 24, 2023The views are amazing, and you really get to relax because it is so tranquil. We thought we will do daytrips but we hardly left the place because it was so peaceful and comfortable. We had the whole place for ourselves. Our room was really nice and the breakfast was wonderful. The pool is a great plus. The location is a bit far from town but it didn’t bother us. You can hike next door.
The food was a bit pricey for what we got. We liked the dogs but they did wake us up by barking if somebody happened to pass by.
