Reviewed Jul 15, 2024The villa and pool is gorgeous, with stunning views of the ocean. The beds, rooms and kitchen were well stocked with good bedding and kitchen supplies. The caretaker was very helpful with meeting us and showing us where everything was and how to use all the facilities. The restaurants are not close by, but it is a very quick drive or a 15min walk away and not as busy as the surfer town of Hiriketiya.
Ants, Ants everywhere. Especially outside in the evening when you switch the lights on. But is is all manageable and after 3 bottles of insect repellent it was all good. The pool is very dirty from all the dead insects in the morning. and because the caretaker did not stay at the property, we had to clean the pool ourselves. Again for us this was not a problem, but maybe other people prefer a caretake and/or cook living at the property.
