Amazing place. So beautiful. Staff were so helpful, especially Ritu. Breakfast was amazing. A really magical and special place.

What a wonderful place! So pleased we found this. A really enjoyable place to stay with wonderful staff, spacious and super comfortable rooms, great facilities and a convenient location. Lovely breakfasts meant we started each day on the right foot. Will definitely be returning.

Traffic was a bit noisy at times but this wouldn't have been different in any other Lisbon location.

Beautiful place. Everything is made with such taste! High standards of cleaning, customer service and overall atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time there. Breakfast didn’t have many options, but was delicious either way.

Our room needed better ventilation as it smelled a bit damp.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait dans cet hôtel. Tout était impeccable du début à la fin. Les hôtesses étaient incroyablement gentilles, toujours souriantes et disponibles, et elles nous ont donné énormément de bons conseils pour visiter les environs, les restaurants et les activités à faire. L’endroit est magnifique, très bien situé et proche de tout, le petit déjeuner délicieux. La chambre était confortable, propre et très agréable. On s’y sent vraiment bien. Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésiter et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir lors d’un prochain séjour.

Dieses Hotel war der beste Platz, den wir uns für unseren Kurzurlaub hätten aussuchen können. Es ist ist ein sehr ruhiger Ort inmitten der quirligen Stadt, man ist in einer sehr guten Nachbarschaft und man bekommt gleich ein schönes Gefühl für das alte Lissabon. Das Personal ist besonders hervorzuheben, die Aufmerksamkeit, die hier den Gästen entgegengebracht wird findet man nur noch selten. Und so hatte auch das Frühstück ein hervorragendes Angebot.

É um sítio que vizinho pela segunda vez e em virtude da experiência que tive na primeira vez, decidi voltar portanto o que gosto no alojamento é a resposta igual ao que disse na primeira vez, trata-se de um palácio e eu adoro este tipo de infraestrutura porque preservam a história e permite-nos vivenciar de certa forma, esse tempo que agora é tão distante

Escolhi o quarto Deluxe com varanda e vou referenciar o que me parece ser grave de ter acontecido tendo em conta o valor e o tipo de serviço que deve corresponder ao valor 1- Não consegui dormir pois o ar condicionado encontrava-se a fazer um tipo de barulho (mesmo estando totalmente desligado), funcionário chamado ao quarto por volta da uma da manhã e não conseguiu resolver, disse que não poderia trocar de quarto e que o hotel se encontrava lotado 2- O lençol do lado esquerdo encontrava-se sujo (não solicitei alteração nem referenciei na altura a ninguém, estou apenas a referenciar agora, não porque queira danificar a imagem mas porque acho que o standard de controlo de qualidade não estão a ser cumpridos e que aconselho a ser revisto) 3- Não existe insonorização neste quarto, as janelas necessitam de ser vedadas com algum tipo de material, pelo que já tinha lido aqui as mesmas não podem ser trocadas por questões urbanísticas que estão fora da alçada dos proprietários mas sim por parte da câmara municipal. Posto isto, seria interessante colocar dentro do quarto alguma solução de redundância ao que existe feito e não pode sofrer alteração. 4- Sendo um palacete faz parte dos nos tetos existirem rachas entre outro tipo de danos semelhantes mas o que não é aceitável, as rachas na parede de pladur ou tinta da parede a estalar onde a TV está aplicada, penso que sejam derivadas de humidade, volto a frisar que a imagem e serviço cobrado carece de manter a qualidade que transmitem e neste quarto acontece exatamente o oposto.

The staff at the front desk make this hotel a very special stay. The two women we had contact with were so lovely. Both had excellent English, were so helpful and offered great restaurant advice. Nearby Shree Ram Indian vegetarian restaurant was outstanding. The hotel breakfast is excellent and served in a gorgeous room. The hotel is a fairly short walk from the Entrecampos train station and also an easy walk to the metro to get to the airport. Upon arrival you’re either given a glass of port or a bottle is left in your room. What a lovely welcome. We stayed here at the start and end of our month long Portugal trip. We stayed in two rooms, one needing attention after the storms that hit the area. We moved to room number four and it is gorgeous. Lovely high ceilings, big bedroom and huge bathroom by hotel standards plus a nice sitting room made this hotel a standout. We took the train to the Algarve from this hotel. The train is inexpensive and a gorgeous scenic trip. This hotel was so convenient for accessing trains, both regional and the metro.

For our first stay, we were in room number six which was damaged by the storms that hit Portugal in January. There was water damage on the wall by the tea/coffee station, the light over the coffee maker and kettle was missing which made preparing coffee or tea a challenge. There was also water damage and mold in the bathroom by the skylight. In normal conditions this would have been a turn-off but we appreciated how challenging it would be to get workers in to repair this damage from unprecedented weather events. On our second visit we were moved to room number four which let the hotel shine. It’s so beautiful and completely changed our thoughts of the hotel. Gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again but would want insurance that the damage is fixed. The lovely staff make everything worth it.

It was a wonderful stay. The house itself feels like stepping back in time. Every detail tells a story — the books, the pictures on the wall, the lamps, the staircase, the chandelier. We were truly impressed. The service was perfect, and the breakfast was rich and delicious. The only possible downside might be the location, but for us it was actually very convenient since it’s close to the airport.

Le lieu est magnifique, la décoration est moderne. Le petit déjeuner était incroyable et il était très agréable de prendre un verre dans le salon après une journée de visite. Merci pour ce superbe séjour et pour toutes les petites attentions qui font la différence.

The second we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely woman at the front desk. Our luggage was whisked off to our room while we were seated in the lounge with our complimentary glass of port. What a warm welcome! The lounge area and breakfast room are gorgeous with very tall ornate ceilings that are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the vegetarian yogurt and other options. Lattes made to offer were perfect. Soy milk appreciated. The morning desk clerks were as lovely as the woman from the night before. Wonderful employees can make a stay something special and these people did just that. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk to the train station and even closer to the Metro. Lots of restaurants nearby. The building was quiet, perfect for a good nights sleep. Robes and slippers were wonderful.

The light over the coffee and tea station had been removed so it was difficult to see. There was also a very large moldy water damaged area in the shower. Given the horrendous weather that Portugal has been having, this blight on the room can be forgiven.

Wat een geweldige ervaring in dit hotel. Het personeel is echt super lief en attent. We voelden ons echt gast en geen nummer. Vooral de kleine details klopten. Het is een oud statig pand met veel allure. In Portugal mogen monumentale panden geen dubbele glas dus hoor je wel geluiden van buiten.

Great romantic hotel close to the modern part of Lisbon. Very friendly staff. Great recommendations for dinner. Gorgeous room. Excellent port wine in the lobby. Pool!

Breakfast was standard. Rest was on a very high level.

Staff was well mannered, but was no help in our predicament. Breakfast and the cleanliness was decent.

I must say that what convinced me to book the hotel for our honeymoon were the pictures that are presented of the place on the advertisement. I happily booked the annex room uncautiously believing that what I am booking are the pictures presented of the main building. Right after completing my nonrefundable booking I was more obviously confronted by the fact that I have in fact booked a room outside the desired main building. I have immediately contacted the hotel, they have confirmed that indeed I have not booked in the main building. I have requested to change the booking if possible to be inside the main building willing to pay the difference. I have not received a meaningful reply for my request, which was worrying but we were busy with the wedding and let it slip. Also I have made my peace with the fact that the annex room looked decent and I have informed the hotel that we are spending our honeymoon there. We had a warm welcoming the first evening. We thought that finally we'll get to enjoy a well deserved rest and romance, after a whole year of planning the wedding just to be woken up at 8am sharp by a power drill, drilling into the wall right by our heads. I have made my piece with the fact that even though I believed the advertisement was misleading and I have been cheated into booking an inferior room by looking at images of the main building, I blamed myself for being uncatious. But after expecting to spend some romantic days and nights with my wife on our honeymoon, there was no rest to be had in the hotelroom and there was no warning about the horrible situation prior, not even when we got there. That is just unnaceptable. It was impossible to relax in our room from 8 in the morning till 6 in the evening. I have contacted the management right away and they shrugged of my complaints, almost even taunting us that it's okay because in two days time on the weekend we'll get to rest. Honeymoon ruined.

Front of house staff were very friendly. Fab clean cosy room, to include all amenties required.. Beautiful neo-classical building, well maintained and oozed love and comfort. Little touches of the drinks on arrival, pastal de nata, and water in the room incites a feeling that you are a valued customer. Perfect location. Will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

O palacete onde funciona o hotel é lindo, charmoso e super bem conservado. Cama confortável, ótimo chuveiro. As meninas que ficam na portaria são nota 10.000. Super educadas, prestativas, falam muito bem inglês (meu marido é americano) e muito simpáticas. Café da manhã delicioso. Não tinha a enorme variedade que muitos hotéis oferecem mas tinha a qualidade que poucos conseguem oferecer. Tudo absolutamente delicioso e fresco.

Nosso quarto era no sótão e sem janelas, apenas claraboias e tínhamos que subir 2 lances de escadas. Somos idosos e fora de forma, então foi um pouco custoso. Mas o hotel é tão agradável de ficar que não atrapalhou. Mas creio que o problema das escadas deveria ser informado.

Bom, por onde começar? Foi simplesmente fantástico, o belo palácio, as pessoas, o ambiente, conforto e detalhe ! A decoração, sim a decoração! Fui muito muito bem tratado, tive a magnífica experiência de ter interagido com 3 recepcionistas, duas no primeiro dia e uma no segundo dia, todas igualmente qualificadas, amáveis e profissionais. Tive também a excelentíssima e gratificante oportunidade de comunicar e ser acompanhado pela diretora deste magnífico estabelecimento, na qual apresentou-me a sua suíte favorita, um grande upgrade com relação ao que estava anteriormente reservado para mim, e onde acabei por ficar! Não tive palavras no momento para agradecer a senhora diretora, mas aproveito fazê-lo por esta via. Muito obrigado a todas, de coração mesmo, sobretudo pela oportunidade de check in antecipado! Como vós não há igual!

Ich war zum zweiten Mal in diesem schönen Hotel und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Alle Leute vom Personal waren wieder super freundlich, Frühstück perfekt. Das Zimmer ein Traum mit dem schönsten Bad inkl. Fresko.

Dear Lisbon Valmor Place completely exceeded my expectations. The location is beautiful, just stunning, and everything was just spot-on. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the attention to detail throughout was amazing - from the welcome drink, personal letter, and snack in the room, to the living room with relaxing music and a nice selection of Portuguese wines. I had room 7 on the top floor. The hotel has 7 rooms in total I believe, all different. Mine was large, though one of the smaller ones in the house. I didn't use th swimming pool, but the garden and swimming pool looked great for warm days. Breakfast was fresh, healthy, and full of local flavor. The staff were outstanding - genuinely kind, proactive, and attentive (even offering me an umbrella when it started to rain!). The building itself dates back to around 1910 and used to be a private club of a wealthy businessman. It’s kept in excellent condition and full of charm. I was in town for business. But the place is also perfect for a romantic couples visit to Lisbon. I will definitely be back.

Ulaşımı rahat, sakin, çalışanlar çok ilgili ve saygılı. Kahvaltı muhteşem. Her sabah hangi lezzetle karşılaşacağız heyecanı ile kahvaltıya gittik. Yatak ve yastıklar çok rahattı. Bizi karşılayan notlar hep yüzümüzü gülümsetti. Otele her gelişimizde acaba günün notu nedir heyecanı ile odamıza girdik. Tekrar çok teşekkür ederiz.

Das Personal des Hotels ist unglaublich freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Sie haben bei allen unseren Wünschen geholfen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist phänomenal. Das Haupthaus selbst hat einen tollen, sehr gepflegten antiken Charme.

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb. Unser Zimmer hatte kein Fenster was die Belüftung schwierig gestaltete. Das Hotel gab uns für die Dauer von drei Tagen ein Upgrade.

The hotel is a beautiful, grand old home that has been renovated. Unfortunately, our room was in the annex that is next to a large construction project. The staff is warm and won’t let you lift a finger and the breakfast was a delightful buffet in a lovely, light filled dining room.

The breakfast buffet was beautiful and varied every day. The croissants and orange cake were my favorites. Each staff member we met was friendly and helpful. There are two metro stops nearby and one is the red line which has an airport stop. We would definitely stay again.

Outstanding small hotel. £5 taxi journey from airport. Tastefully renovated stunning hotel. Very well appointed bathroom. Beautiful communal areas. Near a busy road however, our room was at the rear of the building so noise was not an issue. Pool in shade most of day so a little cold. The surrounding garden nicely maintained. Excellent breakfast, different every day. Service impeccable. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool/garden and was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea. Very clean and comfortable room. Staff lovely and very attentive, giving great tips of the area and centre. We highly recommend.

Wij zijn gewend dat bij dit soort hotels het zwembad wat meer privacy heeft. Het ligt vrij “open” in de tuin . Verder alleen in de ochtend zon.

The hotel is located in an old beautiful building between the airport and downtown Lissabon. With only a limited amount of rooms, the hotel is very tranquil and peaceful. The room we had was one of kind and gave us the feeling we were guests at a palace in stead of a hotel. But this was not all, because what really stood out was the staff! Unfortunately it is very rare nowadays that you are treated so nice and friendly. Every member of the staff was friendly, helpful and made you feel at ease and at home at this beautiful hotel! A real recommendation and worth every euro! Next time we are in Lissabon we will definitely stay there again.

Staff were extremely kind and helpful

We stayed in the annex where construction was occurring next door which we were not informed of at booking. Noisy and disruptive in morning hours. Also there were live wires on the coffee cabinet shelf in our room which unfortunately my husband was shocked by which could have resulted in severe injury. It was reported and shown to the hotel but never received an apology or adjustment. Hopefully this is taken care of before other guests occupy room.

The decor, the location and the rooms have are very elegant. The best part is the staff.
