Está en un pueblo muy tranquilo y bonito. Se respira mucha calma, las vistas son increíbles y todo está muy limpio y bien cuidado. Fuimos 5 amigas para desconectar y relajarnos. Lo recomiendo totalmente. El personal es super amable y atento. La casita tenía todo lo que podíamos necesitar, muy bien decorada, aire acondicionado y en un sitio precioso. Teníamos aparcamiento para el coche al lado de nuestra casa. Nos fuimos llenas de paz y con muchas ganas de repetir!!!

Nada, todo estaba perfecto.

Absolutely stunning property. Only 3 rooms, so it felt like we had the pool area to ourselves as we barely saw the other guests. Well stocked kitchen made cooking easy and we stayed in a room with a lovely outdoor area for eating.

Only improvement would be if a washing machine was made available for guest use and some free wine!

Traumhaft schön! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sind angenehm groß, sauber und top ausgestattet. Die Fotos entsprechen genau den Zimmern. Das Frühstück als Korb auf die Terrasse geliefert war ebenfalls perfekt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ruhig, hat eine tolle Aussicht und ist ideal um das Douro Tal zu erkunden.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Quinta Vila Rachel. L'environnement est magnifique, très calme et en pleine nature. C'est exactement le type d'endroit où l'on vient pour ralentir et se ressourcer. L'appartement est spacieux, confortable et bien équipé. Nous nous y sommes sentis comme à la maison et nous aurions volontiers prolongé notre séjour de quelques jours. Nous avons également apprécié les espaces extérieurs, la piscine avec sa belle vue sur la campagne environnante ainsi que le petit-déjeuner, varié et complet. Les nombreuses recommandations fournies avant et pendant le séjour nous ont permis de profiter pleinement de la région. Nous avons aussi trouvé intéressant de pouvoir acheter sur place les produits du domaine, notamment le vin et l'huile d'olive. Dans l'ensemble, une très belle adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter à ceux qui recherchent le calme, la nature et un hébergement de qualité à taille humaine dans le Douro.

Seul petit point à améliorer selon nous : notre terrasse était directement attenante à celle du logement voisin, sans véritable séparation. Nous avons malheureusement eu des voisins assez bruyants, ce qui a parfois limité notre tranquillité. Une séparation végétale ou un petit aménagement permettant davantage d'intimité serait un vrai plus dans ce type d'établissement. Enfin, une petite suggestion : il serait agréable de trouver un petit échantillon de l'huile d'olive produite sur le domaine dans le logement. Cela permettrait de la découvrir pendant le séjour et donnerait probablement envie à davantage de visiteurs d'en acheter avant leur départ.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr geräumig. Davor ist eine schöne Terrasse. Toll fanden wir auch den Naturpool. Als Nord- und Ostseeerfahrene Schwimmer war er uns auch nicht zu kalt. Klasse fanden wir auch die Frösche und Molche im Teich zusammen mit den Seerosen. Für uns war das Frühstück ok. Genossen haben wir die Ruhe.

Tranquillité et emplacement. Un havre de paix ! Vraiment un très bel endroit. Le personnel sur place est très sympathique et n’oublions pas les magnifiques paniers petit-déjeuner.

Fantastische wijnboerderij op mooie locatie met erg goede wijnen en mooi natuurzwembad. Wij komen graag nog een keer terug!

Frühstück war gut! Der Schwerpunkt lag auf Müsli, Obst, Joghurt usw... Ich persönlich hätte gerne etwas "besseres" Brot oder Brötchen gehebt

Everything was amazing. The pool was so enjoyable! My kids had a blast swimming. I loved that there were only 2 other rooms available and we all became friends for our short time together.

I wished that the wine tasting wasn’t 60€ a person, but to be fair for what I saw, a lot of time and effort went into making it a good informational tour.

Absolut traumhafter Ort mit sehr nettem und aufmerksamen Personal! Tolles Apartment mit guter Ausstattung in ruhiger Lage mit Pool und toller Aussicht! Wer Abschalten möchte, findet hier Ruhe und Entschleunigung! Das Weingut ist wunderschön angelegt, tolle Natur. Es gibt auch zahlreiche Wanderwege in der Gegend, wir würden wieder kommen!

L'ambiance champêtre, calme et en nature. Les nombreux arbres fruitiers. Les déjeuners et la piscine naturelle.

Ontzettend mooie locatie, prachtige omgeving en heerlijk ontbijt! De wijnproeverij is ook erg aan te raden!

Beautiful location ! Check in was very easy and personal . The place was spacious ,clean and comfortable . The breakfast was all we needed to start our day !

Da casa Ofélia e da quinta, no seu todo. Do sossego e da beleza do lugar. De disponibilizarem lenha de forma gratuita e diariamente. De a casa ter tudo o que era necessário para nós sentirmos confortáveis. De nos fazerem sentir acompanhados mesmo não estando lá alguém 24h/dia

Acho que ao fim de dois dias, se justificava alguma limpeza da casa, ainda que superficial. Se se passar muito tempo por lá e se se fizer algumas refeições na casa, como foi o nosso caso, a limpeza seria claramente uma mais valia.

The setting, the View on the house, the natural pool, the beautiful walks in the area, very friendly staff, clean, comfortable.

Not enough cups/bowls/.. for 3 People in the kitchen. The wine is quiet expensive! The cheapest wine is 34 euros. Friends of ours Who are travelling in Portugal found exactly the same one in a wine shop in the South for half of the Price.. So not sure if we would advise to go for their wines....

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta Vila Rachel. We loved our house, the basket breakfast each morning, the views and the unique features on the property. The host and staff were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend a stay at Quinta Vila Rachel!

Hébergement spacieux et confortable. Hôte disponible Belle piscine naturelle avec des plantes. Belle vue et superbe point de vue à 2km en voiture. Très bon Petit déjeuner déposé le matin dans une corbeille avec des produits bios et frais.

Ras nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit mais tout était très bien.

Incredible property that is peaceful and beautiful. Fantastic hiking trails along the Tua river, 40 minutes drive from Pinhão, tawny owls and other birds all around. The owner of the property, and wine maker, Tiago, gave a wonderful tour of his organic vineyards and tiny forest. With a wine tasting of his organic natural wines. Excellent breakfast basket in morning. The pool was also a treat. The staff were all very helpful-Thank you Moises and Filipe

The breakfast, although delicious and organic, was missing eggs and was the same every day. A little variation would be nice. Because the villages in the area are small and rural, there are few good options for getting dinner out and those are 5km or more away. Tiago mentioned that he will be opening an organic restaurant on his property one day, which would surely be welcomed.

Wat een heerlijke plek. We hadden een prachtige accommodatie midden in de wijngaard die van alle gemakken was voorzien. Een heerlijk lokaal vers ontbijt en fantastisch personeel maakte het helemaal top. Het uitzicht was prachtig en we genoten van de rust. Onze accommodatie was super schoon en eerder beschikbaar, wat erg fijn was. Tevens hebben we een wijntour gedaan die erg leuk was, de wijnmaker is zeer gepassioneerd en dat proef je terug in de wijnen, die waren heerlijk.

A bit far from everything but this is great if you are looking for a quiet place. The breakfast could be more adapted for kids.

Beautiful setting in the Tua Valley. Loved that the vineyard was based on a polyculture of plants. Location was really good, located in a small village, but close to larger towns if needed. Accomodation was lovely, and so was the breakfast. Nothing to fault.

Beautiful and relaxing location, cool natural pool, big room with all utensils you need to cook a meal.

The kitchen could have some basic ingredients needed for cooking (e.g oil, salt, pepper) so not every guest needs to buy it and toss it, adding a sustainable thinking. The prices for the tasting and wines were very high compared to other quintas and natural wines.

The stay at Quinta Vila Rachel was over any expectation. Beautiful accommodations in old buildings refurnished to modern standard. Quality everywhere. Super nice, plentiful and healthy breakfast delivered to the terrace in the morning. The organic pool was a nice experience and was. Lovely to swim in. We highly recommend to join both the farm tour and the wine tasting. We learned a lot about the importance of biodiversity and organic wine farming, and the wines were truly tasteful and high quality. Brought some home. The 200 year history of the farm and historically known people living there was also interesting. A lot of art to see. The farm is situated with fantastic views of the Douro valley and river. Of course a car is useful to explore the surroundings more since this is the countryside. Remember to bring amenities you would need from a store in Alijo before you arrive. Also get advice from the owner were to drive to experience the most spectacular views.

Organic pool had bugs. Breakfast claimed 'fresh squeezed orange juice' but was from a box. Breakfast yogurts were sugary.

We had a beautiful stay at Quinta Vila Rachel. It was a relaxing place to spend a long weekend, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and we particularly loved the natural pool, far more interesting than any pool I've ever been in! Tiago was away so we didnt do the full vineyard tour but Filipa instead hosted a wonderful wine tasting by the pool, in which you could see her shared passion for the farm and its products. We both love our natural wine, and found Quinta Vila Rachel a really inspiring place. You can see the love and passion that's gone in to retaining the properties history, whilst also leading the way in adopting organic farming practices, neither of which are the easy option! Thanks for a lovely stay, and being such a kind host Filipa. We hope to return soon.

Beautiful vineyard location with walks along the Douro accessible from the property. Tiago and his staff were all very lovely and helpful. Delicious wines and tranquil environment.

This place is amazing. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. Arrives beautifully in a gorgeously packed basket and is delicious. Yogurt, fruit, granola, breads, cheeses, homemade jams and compotes. It was just wonderful. One suggestion- as breakfast arrived at 8, maybe have some coffee in the room so that early risers can enjoy a cup before breakfast.

It’s very nice and small cozy place. You are surrounded by the nature and the whole experience made me relax. The place is clean, quiet and has a kitchen with all necessities. You can also take a walk or even enjoy a breakfast by the terrace nearby the pool with the breathtaking scenery towards Douro Valley.

We enjoyed so much, so hard to say. But since you are a natural winemaker, for the guests staying at the accommodation, it will be a nice touch if you offer the small bottle of your wines, some rewards of getting a discount of the wine, or even the free easy tour. If there is some information such as pamphlet about your family in the room, it even attracts the guests to enjoy your property. But just a thought..

O pequeno-almoço não devia ser igual, todos os dias. É um bom pequeno almoço, mas ao fim de 3 dias começa a ser repetitivo e deixa de ser agradável comer sempre a mesma coisa. Deviam modificar os produtos da cesta.

Praticamente tudo, A tranquilidade do sitio, a paisagem envolvente simplesmente fabulosa , a piscina sustentável, a casa fabulosa, adaptada com todas as comodidades necessárias.

Deveria haver um pouco mais de diversidade no pequeno almoço, embora tenha tudo imensa qualidade. O facto de não haver iluminação na zona da piscina á noite, é um sitio muito agradável para relaxar, mas compreendemos que seja um consumo de eletricidade exagerado.

Amazing place, I loved everything about our stay there. The accomodations are super comfortable, the wine produced at the property is superb and Tiago is a great host, always available to make your stay the best possible. Highly recommend it!

Wine country. Beautiful setting, peaceful and surrounded by nature and grapevines. Fabulous accommodations, lots of attention to details. Apartments with living room, kitchen, tv and great bathrooms. Plenty of hot water. Everything clean and neat. Quality beds, sheets, towels etc. Everything works including very fast Wi-Fi, even by the fantastic natural swimming pool (no chemicals at all) with great views of the mountains and river. Very attentive and friendly host Tiago, owner and producer of delicious totally bio-organic wines (only fermented grapes). He will give a tour of his historic family house and of the vineyards explaining in detail the natural production method with no chemical fertilizers or herbicides. Red, white, rosé or Porto wines. No hungover whatsoever. Varied and plentiful vegan breakfast with variety of fruits grown in the property. Nice trails for great walks. Lots of places to visit in the surrounding areas. Nearby villages and markets. Very European. Ample parking. Will definitely come back.

No complaints at all. Everything was simply great. Highly recommend it for couples or group of friends. Or like in my case, singles. The pool is beautiful and a pleasure to swim or just soak in. Bought cases of wines. Once you go natural there’s no turning back!

Gostei principalmente da visita guiada. O passeio pela quinta foi muito bonito e proprietario tinha imensa informação interessante sobre produção de vinho natural. O proprietário é muito simpático e prestativo, nota-se que ama o que faz, e ao fim do passeio - quando fizemos a prova dos vinhos - também ficamos a amar o trabalho dele. Foi muito bom dar um mergulho na piscina biológica da quinta, que fica cercada de montanhas e vinhas, num ambiente silencioso. Amei que o pequeno-almoço fosse também biológico. Estava muito gostoso e a apresentação era muito bonita. O apartamento também era lindo, com absolutamente tudo que se poderia precisar, desde eletrodomésticos para cozinha, assim como utensílios. Pude prerar uma bela refeição e comer na mesa da varanda do apartamento durante a noite estrelada. E como se não bastasse tudo isto para não querer ir embora nunca, o vinho natural desta quinta é incrível. É difícil querer voltar para casa, mas mais difícil querer voltar a beber os vinhos comerciais.

Eu sinceramente não tenho queixas.

With an amazing view to a lovely village, beautiful mountains, River Tua and wineyards, Quinta Vila Rachel is the prefect place to spend a few days relaxed by a natural pool that resembels a natural pond, where the sounds of nature sorround you. Tiago the very welcoming host and owner of the Quinta, gave us a tour of his wineyard and explained us the importance of producing all natural wine and how he achieves it. In the end we got to taste the amazing wine and bought some. The accommodation was impeccable, comfortable and beautiful, equipped with everything you need. In the morning a basket was delivered with an tasty vegan breakfast. Over all was an extraordinary experience that I not only recommend as I will repeat.

A beautiful place to spend some days enjoying the magnificent scenery while learning a lot about wine (while drinking it too 😊). Tiago is an amazing host that helps and elevates your stay with a great tour, explaining how he grows his vines and how everything is connected to his family history. All in all a perfect stay just wished I could have spent more time there. Will be back for sure!

New but well designed properties on a traditional farm operating to organic methods. Very helpful manager and staff. Great complimentary breakfast baskets. Lovely rural location on the edge of a historic village.

We had a few more insects than we'd have liked buzzing around, but don't be put off!

Very nice new apartment, beautifully decorated with a well equipped kitchen. Located in a spectacular place, 2 minutes drive from panoramic views. Thanks to the owner's advice, we visited a lovely restaurant nearby. Children enjoyed the ecological pool

The place just opened so the outdoor area is not 100% ready but it's understandable and we were still super comfortable.
