This is a wonderful bungalow with all the necessary facilities, set in a calm and relaxing environment. It is an excellent choice, especially if you are looking for a place with great cooking facilities and a homely atmosphere. We truly felt at home throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Mr. Laal, the Manager, for his exceptional hospitality. He is a very friendly, helpful, and welcoming person who made our stay even more enjoyable. His attention to guests and warm personality added a special touch to our experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

10/10 this is best choice around. Two room house is yours with everything you need, including kitchen with gas and rice cooker. The house has large garden on hill side with fruit trees, eucalypt and wild animals, birds and big cockroach. No large roads around so it is always silent. The pekoe trail and ella town are reachable via bus or tuk ride.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel for almost 2 days. It was super clean, calm, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing. The atmosphere was super peaceful, and Mr. Lal(Host) is extremely friendly and welcoming us. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others. It was super easy to access places like Ella and also Nuwaraeliya. Again a big thanks goes to Lal for all the care given for us. Thanks for the wonderful smile you always had.

Beautiful and quiet location and exceptional service by Lal for whom nothing was too difficult. The meals we ordered were excellent and everything about the place is so carefully organised and much value for money.

The house is in a quiet place not far from Bandarawela town center. Here you can enjoy a very peaceful stay in nature. We cooked our meals and ate outside. The house is very clean and fully furnished. Lal is the house keeper living next door. He is a very kind person and can help you with all your needs. He is also a great singer :) we recommend this place

The guest house was clean and well-maintained, situated in a beautiful and peaceful location. We had a wonderful time, and the host was very kind, assisting us with breakfast arrangements, which were included with the booking. I will definitely choose this place again next time.

Very nice landlord Lal, great communication with both him and Malinda (the owner?). We loved the surrounding garden. Quiet and beautiful place. Great accomodation for those who wanna escape the busy downtown.

We initially planned a shorter stay but ended up staying more than 5 days because we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, homely stay in Bandarawela. Our stay at the cottage was simply wonderful! Nestled in a serene countryside setting, the cottage exuded charm and coziness from the moment we stepped in. The interior was tastefully decorated, blending modern comforts with rustic accents that made us feel right at home. We loved spending evenings by the fireplace, enjoying the peaceful ambiance and reconnecting with each other. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to whip up delicious meals using fresh local produce, which we enjoyed on the quaint patio overlooking a lush garden. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions and scenic hiking trails. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect.

House was clean and everything we needed to cook including basic condiments, oil etc were available. Bed was combatable and got a good nights rest. Host was very helpful. I enjoyed the nature and tranquillity on offer at the property. Got some much need washing done using the washing machine.
