Home away from home. Very comfortable 😌

Lovely place, we had everything we needed. Arcades were really popular :) We didn’t use the bikes, but it was nice to have that option.

Heat pump is a bit dated and noisy. There could be another one in the second lounge.

Wifi was really poor and living room light is too dark

Very comfortable home for our family of five. It was conveniently located and had everything we needed and the host was very responsive.

Free use of the bikes was much appreciated - a nice ride down to Kuirau Park, around the lakefront and back by the Te Ara Ahi cycleway

Comes with all the goods needed to just rock up and enjoy a stay including kids activities and games … bikes and helmets. Such a good location and the house is spread out enough to allow people to enjoy each others company whilst also having space for privacy when needed. Was such a lovely stay.

Plenty of space for our family. Loved the outdoor seating. Really well equipped, and the arcade machine was a real hit with our children. The location was peaceful and handy for visiting the local attractions. Disappointed we didn't have time to use the bikes.

Craig was an amazing host with exceptional communication skills, and attention to detail that made our stay here with our 5 kids feel like a second home. There was so much here for the kids, including the beautiful backyard (the arcade machine was a bonus for the biggest kid *cough*Dad*cough*). The house itself was clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, well appointed, and really comfortable. The beds and bedding were amazing. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen as if we were at home. It was also in a perfect location for our sight-seeing whilst in Rotorua - close to everything. We loved our stay here, and are so grateful to Craig for his amazing hospitality.

This accommodation had everything we need, and everyone needed for. My kids enjoyed the arcade heaps The grandparents enjoyed the veranda and kitchen view. It served all purposes for our short trip. We will definitely come back!

My son and husband loved to play the games together. The kitchen had all the cooking ware including various seasonings. the beds were so comfy, our family had a great time.

This property was by far one of the best I have stayed in. The property was immaculate. Was great for my family especially having children they were entertained through the whole stay with toys/games provided. Was close to all shops and activities all close within 10 minutes of driving. As first timers to rotorua it was very helpful that they put a quick guide book and poster with recomendations for guest. The property is so spacious and separated with a door to close off from the other end if you wanted that little bit of privacy. Having a nice spacious back yard and verandah at the back as well as great parking at the front for guests to enjoy especially if you have kids to run around. You can definitely tell Craig has put a lot of thought into ensuring his guest feel at home away from home as I could not fault it one bit. Craig has been a pleasure to deal with from start to end. Ensuring the house meets our needs and if we need anything during our stay. Will definitely be booking again should we come back to Rotorua. Thank you Craig for allowing us to stay! :)

Easy to find, just as described… large yard, games room was perfect for kids and super clean.

Kids complained about Wifi not working properly so they couldn’t use their devices and neither could we which was a pain being international travellers but not enough to not enjoy our time there.

Nothing to complain about. Everything was spick and span. The owner accommodated us before the scheduled time.

Location was bit difficult to track. Parking was bit difficult for 7 seater vehicle.

The house is so spacious, and the bedrooms are beautifully decorated. The family room is absolutely wonderful – it easily accommodated everyone, including two little 1-year-olds who had a blast crawling around. The best part? Teems Retreat has a beautiful story behind it, dedicated to the owner's lovely dog. It's a perfect blend of comfort, style, and an amazing retreat.

Property was very clean and has everything you need. We're accustomed to having to bring our own laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, buying basic cooking ingredients, rationing the toilet paper when staying at apartments. But the accommodation was well stocked. The kitchen had plenty of crockery and pots and pans etc as well.

The location probably wouldn't be ideal for travellers without a car.

A lovely place to stay, quiet neighbourhood, felt safe. Owner was great to deal with. If you have your own transport this is a great retreat.

Location was perfect, it was one of the homes that you enter and go wow this is so pretty and well kept. Refreshing after a tiring day. Loved the lounge. Would definitely return if coming to Rotorua.

I found the master bed to be a little hard for my comfort. Also, while the last person in our group still was to shower, next day just after 9:30am there wasn't enough hot water. It was too close to our checkout time hence we didn't contact the hosts. Everything else was spot on.

It was very easy to communicate with the host. The house is newly renovated and insulated, It was very warm and dry, all the beds has electric blanket on it. The house is located in safe and quiet street, short drive to the town centre. We spent perfect family holiday in this property.

Just one downside was the paint smell when we just arrived. The house was very clean and tidy, looks like newly renovated, the paint smell was probably from the renovation. However, we got used to of the smell, it was fine with us after 2 days.

Handy location, house was clean and tidy, hosts where amazing to deal with (fabulous and easy communication). Bedding and bedrooms comfortable and tidy. Heating was easy to operate (a little chilly this time of year), and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Teemo's Retreat was a delightful experience! The place offered ample activity space and convenient parking. All the facilities were top-notch, and the beautiful bay windows added a touch of charm. The kitchen and bathrooms were brand new and spotless, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The serene and secure neighborhood was a bonus. We can't wait to visit again and create more wonderful memories at Teemo's Retreat.
