The location was just perfect. For such a small village, it had everything we needed. A couple of bars and a restaurants a couple of mins walk down the road, a cafe, and a local shop that should have most of what you need. We really did enjoy are stay here, and it had to be one of the friendliest places we stayed, even some of the kids that passed you in the street all said hi. It’s like a little village that’s stuck in its own little bubble , and I mean that in a good way. I will 100% go back here again. Oh and it also close to beaches. And everything is in walking distance. A great little village with a lot to offer.
There where quite a few dog poops on the back garden, but I suppose this says more about the last people that stayed there with dogs, rather than the owners of the house . But it was a little bit of an issue as we had children running about the back yard. Would it stop us staying again. Definitely No. I would definitely stay here again.
Very comfortable home, lots of space, clean and modern kitchen/bathrooms. We had chilly weather but were nice and cozy with the stove. Host, Anna Mar, very helpful and responsive. Great location for easy walks to all Glencolmcille but also quiet.
The location is great, near the playground if you go with kids. Post office and shop across the road, pubs down the road, and only a few minutes walk from Oideas Gael. Anna Marie was lovely and so easy to communicate with her. The place is very peaceful and relaxing. The house is as the pictures show, and the beds are very comfortable. It was lovely being in the living room with the fire lit.
Lovely traditional Irish house
Nothing everything was perfect
The village people lovely very friendly. House so central in village. Would strongly recommend 👌
A spacious, comfortable house with lots of room to relax. Located in “The heart of the village”, it is within walking distance to beautiful beaches, and great walks. especially for anyone attending courses at Oideas Gael. Easy check in and check out and the friendly owner was available if needed.
An absolutely stunning location, with local views to die for. Remote, but ideal for people holidaying to relax.
Nothing!
Because of the home's wonderful location, were immersed into the community and met many locals upon arrival. The Glen is a truly lovely village nestled along the mountainous coast with a grocery, lively pubs with talented musicians, it's own beach, the charmingly historical Folk Village, and scenic hiking. Our time at the House was so very special, we would gladly stay there again!
Lovely spacious house, excellent location close to the shop and lovely pub with best chowder ever.....

Central, 3 bedrooms two living rooms and a kitchen dining area
We went late in year not summer 😂
Great location, reasonable price, amazing host, cleanliness, few steps from provisional store and gas station
Property can improve on Dishwasher facilities. Area has very less or no mobile network coverage so you can have a tough time if you rely upon online maps as it always picks very narrow roads even for a a 2-3 min difference in commute time avoiding much better routes. Internet(wi-fi) was good in the house by the way. so get the offline maps downloaded handy.
Very easy to collect keys
It was all pretty good.
