Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Mycket hemtrevlig stuga på landet och ändå nära E4:an samt Skuleberget och Skulesgogen. Välutrustad kök, skön soffa, mysig atmosfär. Trivdes i stugan och hade absolut kunna tänka mig stanna längre än bara en natt. Roligt att det finns lite information om husets historia samt mycket informationsmaterial om utflyktsmål.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026A truly lovely and peaceful place to stay in the Swedish countryside! ❤️ The little house is surrounded by nature, in a wonderfully quiet and peaceful location. When you arrive, you may be welcomed by a very friendly cat and some equally friendly, happily bleating sheep – it immediately makes you feel like you’ve escaped from the busy world. The house itself was such a lovely surprise. It is not only spotlessly clean, but also full of history and character. Everywhere you look, you’ll find charming, beautifully kept objects from the past – historical furniture, household items and little details that are still being used and cared for. Everything feels authentic and alive. For some, it may feel like visiting a beloved grandmother’s countryside home; for others, almost like staying in a small living museum. The host is incredibly friendly, welcoming and generous, which made our stay even more special. If you are looking for peace, nature, authenticity and a place with a soul, I can highly recommend staying here. We absolutely loved it! ❤️

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Mökki on sympaattinen ja ihanan rauhallisessa maalaismiljöössä. Meidän yhden yön tarpeita varten löytyi kaikki. Asunnon omistajat ovat ystävällisiä ja asunto oli tosi siisti. Pihalla olevat leikkivälineet hurmasivat 5-vuotiaan.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026Un cottage meraviglioso, molto confortevole, ottima climatizzazione (riscaldamento), ottima cucina e una bellissima area soggiorno. Letti molto morbidi e comodissimi. Posizione strategica, al centro dell' Hoga Kusten. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili e disponibili. Consigliamo vivamente per una vacanza anche lunga nella regione centrale della Svezia.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Hela miljön med vacker natur och med får och lamm i hagen. Huset var välkomnande och väldigt trivsamt, rent, fint och luktade gott. Sköna sängar och riktigt bra bäddsoffa. Värdparet var mycket trevliga och gav oss en fin berättelse om Lillys house. Här skulle man kunna vara några dagar och bara njuta av lugnet men nu gjorde vi en hel del annat. Det var nära till många vackra platser som Skuleberget och naturreservaten men också till affären och den lilla byn. Det här är en plats vi gärna skulle komma tillbaka till, bättre än så här blir det inte!
Finns inget att klaga på.

Reviewed May 29, 2026Sijainti erittäin rauhallinen isäntäväen pihapiirissä maaseudulla. Koko talo oli omassa käytössä ja siellä oli kaikki tarpeellinen: alakerrassa kunnon keittiö ja olohuone, yläkerrassa makuuhuone ja kylppäri (vessa ja suihku). Yläkertaan jyrkät raput, mutta hyvät kaiteet. Lähellä patikkareittejä Skuleberget ja Skuleskogenin kansallispuisto. Dockstan keskusta lähellä, siellä mm. ruokakauppa ja ympäri vuoden auki oleva ruokapaikka.

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026Wonderful location, excellent hosts, comfortable cottage with so much history, nicely equipped kitchen, plenty of bedding and linnen, so cosy! at least 10 stunning snow-shoe walks within max. 20 min drive, or right from the doorstep. Amazing!

Reviewed Sep 8, 2023We spent 6 nights in August. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. The washing machine was very useful. There are trampolines outside my kid enjoyed. The house is located 10 minutes from the main road. There is a good grocery nearby. There are many beautiful hiking tracks in the area.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2022This is a very authentic home away from home, where everything looks like as the inhabitants are just gone for a minute or two. Even a nice Swedish folk music vinyl was at the turntable. The large kitchen is well equipped and eversign is nice and clean. Last but not least the proprietors in the larger house right next door were very kind and conversational.
be careful to bring your own bed linen and towels.
