Villa sur la plage de Mont-Choisy

The property is a few meters away from the beach, he villa is very well equipped you have everything you need and more. Great style and clean kept. We loved it highly recommend! The host was also very nice and helpful, responded quickly always.

The was one of the best places we stayed in Mauritius. Yes it was not on the beach, but had a homely feeling. Host was very helpful and nice person. He even get us some sandwiches as we were coming during lunch time. That was very nice of him. He didn't really have to do that. The famous Grand Baie was just few minutes drive away. That place gets super crowded; where this place was close enough; minus the crowd and noise. The beach nearby was clean and also less crowded but beautiful with almost no boats or water sports crowd. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Apartment location is great - just a minute-walk from the Mont-Choisy beach in a quiet neighborhood with nice running route along the beach - in our opinion one of the nicest beaches for walks, sunbathing and swimming. At the beach, there were several food stands offering lunch. In order to do groceries, car is rather needed (bus is an option) but it’s not a long ride. Apartment is spacious and offers all that one may need for the stay, including selection of kitchen equipment as well as basics such as spices and something to grab on the arrival day - that’s a nice touch. For coffee lovers - there is nespresso machine and starting set of coffee tabs. The common area is spacious and nicely organized. There is nice outdoor sitting area. The AC in both bedrooms was enough in October to keep a comfortable temperature in the whole apartment Apartment management was very helpful & making a stay easygoing, also recommending us local car rental company.

There is a shared swimming pool in the compound that needs more cleaning - maybe it was due to low season that compound management (different company) didn’t pay attention. We opted for swimming in the ocean only.

We spent 8 nights in this lovely villa right next to Mon Choisy beach. The villa is part of a gated community of about 20 properties with a shared pool. We were met by Deborah and shown around and she also checked us out (very early!) on the morning we left. Any questions we had were answered promptly via WhatsApp. The house is really well equipped and the kitchen had all the basics, great if you want to self cater. There's a lovely seating area outside which is completely covered which kept us dry when there was an occasional evening downpour! The bedrooms are quite small but as it was only the 2 of us we used the second bedroom for our cases. The aircon in the bedroom was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. It's a very quiet area and not many other villas occupied when we were there. It gets a bit noisier at the weekend with loud music from the nearby golf club on a Friday night - but that stops around 10pm so it didn't bother us at all. It's a good base for exploring the north of the island but you definitely need a car to get around here. There is a hotel just by the beach which we ate at a few times but apart from that you need to drive to restaurants. Mon Choisy beach is beautiful and lovely for swimming, no good for snorkelling though as it's a big sandy bay and the reef is far out. if you do want to snorkel there are lots of boats at the nearby Trou aux Biches beach that will take you outside the reef where the snorkelling is amazing. Lastly, thank you to Karinne who came in to clean and tidy up every second day!

Great location and staff. Nice cosy house which is right next to the beach. Just great for a quick getaway. There are two big fridges just in case you have alot of food! They nicely provide the essentials and a few goodies in the fridge for arrival. Very thoughtful.

The location was fabulous. It was a 2 minute walk to Mon Choisy beach.

The only negative was that we didn't have a plug for basin in the kitchen.
