The location was perfect, the staff were super attentive and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable.

Everything was just perfect. The only thing that I would complain was the stairs to get there. If you have a heavy suitcase, can be not very pleasant

My stay at Casa Lázuli 303 was a great experience. The staff was always ready to help and provide any necessary information. Abel was waiting for us—since we arrived late, at 10 p.m.— and was very friendly. Sandy and Maria served us breakfast and were always very pleasant. The hotel's location is excellent, close to everything; we even walked to Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas. There are many bars in the surrounding area, but the noise didn't bother us. In short, Cartagena was wonderful, and our stay only made it better, I highly recommend it.

Super gelegen, sehr sauber, ruhig und gemütlich mit schöner Dachterasse und ein kleines geschenktes Frühstück. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hat uns geholfen wo er nur konnte. Immer wieder gerne.

This is beyond their control: the property next door is a bar which plays loud music until late at night, so if you’re a light sleeper just be aware of it.

The staff is very nice, the breakfast at the rooftop was magnificent. They let us put our luggage in the lobby before check-in, after check-out.

Tiene una bonita terraza, con vistas de todo el centro histórico, la ubicación es clave porque está en el corazón de la zona, José nos brindo una excelente atención. El desayuno es sencillo pero rico, la habitación estuvo cómoda y limpia. Está en el tercer piso de un edificio antiguo.

Nos fue excelente, lo único es que el "balcón" parece más una ventana. Da a la calle principal con linda vista. Por ser el centro histórico, no hay parqueadero, el más cercano es costoso.

Situato in una posizione ottimale!! Proprio in centro a Cartagena a pochissimi minuti dalla torre Reloj. Appartamento molto carino e super moderno, la camera piccolina ma essenziale con aria condizionata (obbligatoria per sopravvivere in città). Il personale è super gentile, Abel ci ha aspettato fino a tardi per fare il check in e la mattina la colazione è stata superba, servita in terrazza con una vista stupenda sulla cattedrale. Che dire, tutto perfetto

Per arrivare all’appartamento ci sono 2 rampe di scale, non adatto a chi fa un po fatica a muoversi, ma tutto il resto è super perfetto

A localização é perfeita! Embora esteja ao lado do burburinho o som não me incomodava em nada. Existem muitas escadas, mas eu já sabia e não foi nenhum problema para nós. O banho é bom , a cama confortável. José é muito gentil! Abel é mais que gentil! Fez a diferença na nossa hospedagem!

Nem chega ser não gostei....Mas o quarto poderia ser um pouco maior e ter ducha higiênica. O café da manhã é simples mas é bom...Poderia variar é o mesmo todos os dias....

La Rue est un peu trop bruyante, néanmoins il y a le matériel suffisant pour se protéger du bruit.

El personal es muy amable y está permanentemente disponible para atender las necesidades de los huéspedes. El desayuno estaba muy bien. La ubicación es muy buena para personas que quieren salir, fiesta etc. y que no se ven afectadas por el ruido y el caos de la noche (pues es una zona con muchos bares y discotecas).

El hotel queda muy bien ubicado en una zona donde hay muchos bares y discotecas pero por esta misma razón el ruido en las noches es bastante alto, dificultando poder descansar. Si bien las ventanas son anti ruidos, el hecho de tener tantos bares al lado hacen que no sea el mejor hotel para quienes buscan descanso

Die Lage ist hervorragend – sichere Umgebung, mitten im Zentrum mit vielen Bars, Restaurants und allem, was man braucht, direkt in der Umgebung. Besonders schön ist die große, gemeinschaftliche Dachterrasse. Dort kann man morgens wunderbar frühstücken und abends einen Sundowner genießen. Abel und José sowie das Housekeeping kümmern sich sehr herzlich und aufmerksam um die Gäste, sodass man sich wirklich willkommen fühlt.

Wie bereits in anderen Bewertungen erwähnt, sollte man die Lautstärke der umliegenden Rooftop-Bars nicht unterschätzen. Die Musik läuft oft bis etwa 2:00–3:00 Uhr nachts. Uns war das im Voraus bewusst, und wir haben uns wegen der tollen, zentralen Lage ganz bewusst dafür entschieden. Wer sehr geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte das im Hinterkopf behalten – im Nachhinein sollte man sich darüber jedoch nicht beschweren.

Amazing location right in the middle of the old city. Breakfast was nicely served and well done. The unit was spacious and nicely decorated. The AC kept the unit cool and comfortable. The management was responsive and helpful.

We had the top unit. We didn’t understand that the hotel was on the 3rd floor and no elevator. Not a problem for us, but it was a real hike and we did it 10 times a day. I think some would really be stretched to do all of those stairs. The hotel is across the street from two night club/bars. That start playing loud music at about 6 pm and don’t stop till 2 am. Every night! There were a pair of ear plugs on the nightstand which I laughed at, but after 3 days fully understood the necessity. The music is very loud and you can physically feel the bass as it thumps for hours on end. They have other units that are lower in the building and they may have faired better. But the roof top units got blasted. We love the place, the management was fantastic. But we will not return.

Hoewel de ligging heel centraal is, was er heel veel geluid van de rooftopbar naast de casa. Gelukkig hadden we oordoppen bij :-)

Nuestra experiencia fue excelente de principio a fin. La ubicación del hotel es inmejorable, muy conveniente y perfecta para moverse con facilidad por la zona. La limpieza es impecable, todo estaba en perfectas condiciones y eso realmente hace la diferencia. Además, la atención del personal fue extraordinaria: siempre amables, atentos y dispuestos a ayudar. Queremos destacar especialmente a José, quien nos brindó un apoyo increíble ante un pequeño percance que tuvimos. Su actitud resolutiva y su disposición marcaron totalmente nuestra experiencia. Se nota cuando alguien disfruta su trabajo y se preocupa genuinamente por los huéspedes. También agradecemos mucho que nos hayan permitido hacer el check-in a las 22 hs, lo cual fue de gran ayuda para nosotros. Ese tipo de flexibilidad habla muy bien del servicio y la calidad humana del lugar. Sin duda, volveríamos y lo recomendamos al 100%.

Musique extrêmement forte venant des rooftops autour jusqu’à 3h du matin. Difficile de dormir, même avec des boules quies. Faites la fête ou ne choisissez pas cet hôtel.

Lovely breakfast with the best view of Cartegena

Our room was amidst the rooftops of Cartegena. Beautiful view. But there are multiple roof top bars close by and you can’t be adverse to music to fall asleep to. Did not worry us but if you need quietness to sleep this is not the place for you.

Location was great if you want to be in the middle of the action in old town. Roof was nice with a view to the street below. Roof top was great for having a coffee in the morning or for watching the sunset.

If you are a light sleeper you may not like the evening noise as it’s in a happening area. Didn’t bother us at all but some may find it a bit lively after dark. For those who like the night life it would be perfect.

Es una casa muy ruidosa que da a un patio interior donde hay azoteas de bares y discotecas con la música altísima hasta la mañana del día siguiente. En la habitación suena como si estuvieras de fiesta también. El alojamiento no es un hotel, es una casa en una segunda planta donde la entrada al edificio es común con otras viviendas y negocios.

Jose was an excellent host, fluent in Spanish and English. He explained the entire property to us and greeted us with fresh juice. Beautiful house, great location, very comfortable bed, good breakfast.

Location is one of the key attraction points for Casa Lazuli 303. It’s very close to all tourist attractions in Cartagena’s Walled City. If you’re into the very active nightlife in Cartagena, this is your place. If you want to go on tours, it’s very close to the usual meeting points. For those people, this is your place. Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs and delicious arepa in the morning with coffee and juice and the amazing view of the Old City from the terrace. Jose is a great host and will always give you recommendations on what to do in Cartagena. I think I’d stay here again.

If you want to find quiet nights away from the noise of bars and loud music, this is not your place. Fortunately, my room was relatively quiet and I could hear very little of what was happening outside, but chances are you might find that a bit annoying if you really want to sleep in peace and quiet. I told the staff that I would sometimes hear a sudden banging noise. I never knew what it was, neither did they.

Schöne Unterkunft und gute Lage, tolle Terrasse mit tollem Frühstück insbesondere für tagsüber und morgens

Alles war super, aber dass die Lautstärke in der Nacht überwog leider alles andwr für uns. Leider war die Musik der 3-5 umliegenden rooftop Bars von ca 19-03 Uhr, oder auch länger extrem laut, sodass man drinnen eine extreme Lärmbelästigung hatte. Die Lautstärke nahm von Stunde zu Stunde zu, wir konnten trotzdem einigermaßen schlafen, aber es war wirklich laut. Wenn man selber Party machen möchte bis spät in die Nacht, dann kann ich diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen, wenn nicht, dann würde ich stark davon abraten. Das sollte einem einfach vorher klar sein. Im allgemeinen ist die Unterkunft eher eine Art AirBnb als ein Hotel, da es vom Aufbau her einer Wohnung gleicht.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Der Besitzer und die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

El trato del personal fue excelente desde el minuto uno. Súper atentos, ofreciendo todas las facilidades posibles, y con toda la amabilidad del mundo. La ubicación también es excelente, el alojamiento está decorado con mucho gusto y es muy acogedor, y preparan un sencillo y deliciosa desayuno cada mañana con mucho cariño.

Acomodação perfeita para nossa viagem para a prova do Ironman. Próxima da largada da natação, de lugares turísticos e de excelentes restaurantes indicados pelo anfitrião José. Apenas o barulho das festas da madrugada atrapalhava um pouco o sono, mas é o estilo de vida em Cartagena que deveria ser das festas e não das Índias. Os anfitriões nós acolheram com muita atenção, dedicação e carinho. A maneira que nós trataram é de valor inestimável. Eu trouxe comigo esse calorzinho no coração que me entregaram. Foi tudo maravilhoso! Só gratidão à "família casa lazuli", ao José, as tias irmãs, à Maria....

very noisy. The internet comes and goes. There isn’t much privacy because the main window of the room opens onto the communal balcony, so people end up hanging out right outside your door. There’s also a club nearby that plays loud music until 3 a.m., so definitely bring earplugs. Hot water comes and goes.

Casa Lazuli is a beautiful place and the ladies owning it are very sweet and welcoming! They received us with a juice, and made us feel at home during our whole stay! The terrace has amazing views, perfect to have breakfast and watch the sunset. We had a 3 person bedroom that was comfortable, the noise at night wasn’t bad cause there was only a small window.

La propiedad está súper bien ubicada, en pleno casco histórico, a 2 minutos de la torre del reloj de donde salen todas las excursiones. Tiene una terraza comunitaria hermosa, con grandes vistas, donde podes sentarte a tomar el desayuno o mirar el atardecer. Adriana, Marly y María te reciben con mucha calidez, y te hacen sentir como en casa. Están atentas a los detalles y pendientes de que todo esté en orden. La casa es hermosa y súper cómoda. Tal cual las imágenes. Super recomendable para ir sola, en pareja o con amigos!

Que, ante tanto despropósito y tras insistir mucho, nos devolvieron nuestro dinero.

Es difícil resumir la desastrosa estancia que sufrimos en esta casa (no hotel). Voy a intentarlo. Como adelanto, decir que reservamos 3 noches y, después de la primera, huimos de aquella trampa sin siquiera desayunar. Vamos allá: 1. Las fotos que aparecen en la descripción del hotel pueden llevar a engaño. Uno se imagina un hotel familiar, coqueto, acogedor y con todo cuidado al detalle. Nada más lejos de la realidad... 2. Para empezar, NO es un HOTEL...ni siquiera se le puede definir como un hostal. Es una casa dentro de un edificio bastante antiguo en la que se alquilan habitaciones con no muy buen aspecto...La entrada es horrible, con unas escaleras empinadísimas. 3. Lo más grave es lo del RUIDO: es algo que no había sufrido en mi vida y eso que viajo muchísimo. A pocos metros de las habitaciones hay varias terrazas de discotecas que tienen la música a todo volumen hasta más de las 3AM. Nos fue imposible dormir hasta esa hora incluso usando tapones. Una vergüenza que se permita la apertura como alojamientos a lugares en los que no se puede descansar (cuando uno va precisamente a eso). 4. Relación CALIDAD-PRECIO pésima. Todavía si fuese más joven y hubiese viajado a Cartagena a salir de fiesta y me valiese cualquier sitio donde dormir y ducharme por 15-20€ la noche pues sé a lo que me expongo...pero es que encima te cobran como si estuvieses en un hotel bien preparado!! Me cuesta creer la puntuación que tiene esta casa. Que no les lleve a engaño como nos ocurrió a nosotros.

El alojamiento es muy bueno, lo unico es que figura como hotel pero es mas un apartamento, y no se puede usar la cocina.

Ich habe hier last minute gebucht, weil in meinem eigentlich gebuchten Hotel ein langwieriger Stromausfall war. Nachdem ich die Casa Azul endlich gefunden hatte, wurde ich äußerst herzlich empfangen. Die Suite mit Dachterrasse ist riesig und wirklich schön. Die Glastür dämpft ein wenig den beträchtlichen nächtlichen Partylärm. Das Bad ist sehr geräumig und das Bett sehr bequem. Das Schönste aber war die Freundlichkeit der Menschen, die in der Casa Azul arbeiten. Allein die sind schon ein Grund zum Wiederkommen!

Es ist vor allem nachts wirklich sehr laut, da eine ganze Reihe von Open Air-Bars rundherum bis zum frühen Morgen die Umgebung beschallen. Außerdem war es ziemlich schwierig, das Hotel zu finden. Google Maps schickt einen komplett in die falsche Richtung und mit der Adressangabe Carrera #6 kann niemand was anfangen. Die Straße heißt Calle Colegio (nur anhand der Webseite habe ich das herausfinden können). Einmal am Haus angekommen, steht man ein wenig ratlos herum, denn ein Schild gibt es nur außen. Man muss durch das Gitter im 1. Stock und dann die Treppe hochgehen. Mit entsprechenden Anweisungen hätte ich mir 40 Minuten schweißtreibendes Rumirren mit Gepäck sparen können.

Das größte Plus ist die Lage. Sie ist mitten im Zentrum der Altstadt, und vom Dach des Hauses, welches auch eine gemeinsam nutzbare Terrasse beinhaltet, hat man einen schönen Ausblick. Das Haus selbst ist auch ein altes im positiven Sinne, hohe Treppen, nette Einrichtung. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war okay. Ein bisschen mehr Abwechslung hätte ich mir schon erwartet.

Das größte Minus gibt es für den Lärm. Dass eine Unterkunft in einer belebten Zone mit Bars nicht so leise sein würde wie Weit außerhalb, das war mir schon klar. Aber es war nirgends beschrieben oder zu erwarten, dass es in unmittelbarer - sprich 20 m Entfernung - auf gleicher Höhe mehrere Bars im Freien auf den Hausdächern gibt, die den ganzen Abend in hoher Lautstärke (meiner Meinung nach auch nicht gute) Musik spielen. An Schlaf war vor 2:00 Uhr morgens, manchmal 3:00 Uhr morgens trotz professioneller Ohrstöpsel nicht zu denken. Ich kann das Haus daher leider nicht weiterempfehlen.
