Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Eljest was just brilliant, I wish I could rate it higher than 10! The cabin itself is so cosy and fantastically well equipped, not to mention surprisingly spacious! We got 6 of us in here to play D&D, no problem! Staying here was a different level of peaceful and I can't recommend it enough. The price was very reasonable for four of us and the bus ride into Umea was only a 10 minute walk away - a very scenic walk too! Thank you to our hosts for sharing your little slice of heaven with the world. (Photo is the view from the deck)

Das wir die Betten selbst überziehen mussten war nicht das Problem, aber die verschmutzten Betten sowie die ungebügelte Bettwäsche sieht einfach nicht einladend aus, sowie der Geschirrspüler den der Vorgänger nicht ausgeräumt hat. Bei der Sauberkeit im Allgemeinen ist noch Luft nach oben.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Lugnet och miljön. Boendet var toppen för vår familj. T.ex. toppen för fyraåringen att kunna leka ute på gräsmattan samtidigt som man själv fixade mat eller åt.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Vi gjorde egen frukost i det välutrustade köket, drack kaffet på terrassen medan barnet lekte på gräsmattan, verkligen idylliskt läge, barnet grät en tår när vi lämnade våran hem borta hemifrån, eljest filosofin landar nära hjärtat, om det är ledigt nästa sommar så kommer vi gladeligen igen!
En dedikerad parkeringsplats kunde vara ett +

Don't forget to bring moquitio protection for summer :-) If you come by foot/public transport, be prepared for a long (and nice) walk to the city center.

Reviewed Jan 18, 2026Vi fick en utmärkt frukost; yoghurt, müsli, bröd, ost, tomater, marmelad och sylt, samt kokt ägg, precis på den tid vi hade bett om. Mycket mysigt med eldstad!
Eftersom vi var fyra personer var det lite trångt om utrymmet kring det lilla bord som fanns. Ett tips kan väl vara ett klaffbord, som är lite mer flexibelt. Att sitta runt det lilla bordet finns en säng och två pallar, vilket blir lite obekvämt om man tillbringar hela kvällen i stugan. Ett par stapelbara stolar med rygg skulle vara bättre, och kanske några klädda kuddar som ryggstöd i "soffan", som alltså är en säng. Den utdragbara sängen hade en ganska tunn madrass, som inte riktigt förslog för en vuxen kvinna.

Not very clean, the lights were bad and the beds were very worn and very uncomfortable. The beds were not prepared There was no soap and no access to any WiFi In the pictures looks very good but is not functional and very uncomfortable Sorry...

Reviewed Nov 6, 2025Jobbig trapp upp till sängen. Ostädat. Glasskärva, tuggad godis, tops och högar av damm under sängen. Lampor var dammiga och mycket spindelnät. Tandkräm på väggar i badrummet och ostädad toalett. Väldigt mörkt på gården så man fick lysa med telefonen för att inte gå in i något. Svårt att hitta till stället, speciellt i mörkret.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025Väldigt mysigt boende med trädgård och uteplats nära till fina fiket och möjlighet att delta på Yoga i det fria. ( tur att vi inte hade brådis iväg just under yogaklassen eller hade planerat egen frukost just då) För då hade det känts som att vi stört.
Bäddsoffan var lite hård att sova i.

Reviewed Mar 12, 2025Very helpful owner, ready to help out and make sure we’re comfortable throughout our whole stay. The cottage is cozy, clean and very comfortable despite its size. The fireplace adds so much to the atmosphere. The location is also great, quiet and surrounded by nature, but close to shops and to the city centre.
