Irish Isle Oasis: Spacious 5-Bedroom Retreat

The house is very large and spacious. Beautiful views, peaceful and tranquil. We were able to connect our Netflix to the tv. Coffee, tea, cereals and some basics like pasta and milk were also in the kitchen, which was great, as it's a trek to the shop. I have already recommended this house for friends. Just rent an e-bike to cycle around.

The water restrictions from 5pm to 10am was unforeseen and could not be helped. Some outdoor furniture would be a great benefit, to enjoy the views, especially with a sundowner drink in the evening.

The view from all the rooms in the house are fantastic. Owner is great communicator and very helpful in every way. We found milk and bread and few more things ready for us.

Cleanliness in the house was the only negative, which we realised is not easy to achieve as there is a huge shortage of water.

House was extremely spacious and very well equipped. Stunning views and totally tranquility. Great communication from hosts.

The location is a good distance from Kilronan. We rented bikes in Kilronan and cycled to house. We got taxis into town in the evenings when going for dinner. We did know this in advance though.

The pictures don’t do the house justice, every room is fab and the views are beautiful! The kitchen is fully equipped so great for cooking in. The distance of the property didn’t bother us as we rented bikes and loved cycling around on them, there’s a fab cafe just over 3km away so you can walk or cycle to it for your coffee or lunch. The local taxi men were great for collecting us and dropping us in the evening time to the pub

The house was excellent.

It's located 7 miles away from everything so we couldn't go anywhere without a taxi. We never found the travel cot.

This was a fantastic property! Huge bedrooms, exceptionally clean. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were provisions left in for us such as milk, bread, tea and coffee. Such a lovely touch! The bathrooms were spotless and there was lots of hot water for showers after the beach. Lovely sitting room and playroom. Free WiFi too! There were 7 adults and 5 children in our party and there was so much space. Excellent communication with our host, prompt email replies about queries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others!

The blinds on some of the velux windows need attention. We love a bit of music so maybe recommend the host to encourage future guests to bring a speaker. Everything else was top class!

Well stocked house, had everything we needed and the milk, butter, sauces etc were a huge help! Stunning location, taxi drivers were helpful…thanks to the hosts for sharing these!

A beautiful, spacious property that's off the beaten track and perfect for a relaxing break. The house is well kitted out with everything we needed and there are lovely places to explore within walking and cycling distance. A local taxi can be easily booked to go further afield.

Love how spacious the house was and how well equipped it was. It is perfect for a large group with additional beds and three bathrooms!

It is worth noting that it is quite far from the main centre with the pubs etc. So if you dont have bikes or car etc it is quite remote.. the broken bed in the main bedroom was disappointing and the dead bugs in the showers was slightly off-putting.

Easy check in, lovely views, great facilities. We will definitely be back again some day

1. The bedroom with the attached bathroom on the first floor was convenient, but having the other bathrooms located separately, one on the first floor and one on the ground floor, was less ideal. While this arrangement was manageable during our stay, it would have been preferable to have more en-suite bathrooms for better privacy and convenience. 2. The location offered scenic views, but the difficulty in booking taxis or bikes to explore other parts of the island proved challenging. The remote location made it inconvenient to purchase supplies or travel around the different islands. Having easier access to transportation options would have enhanced our ability to fully experience the area.

The only downside was the bed in the master suite was broken and sagged in the middle, my husband and I ended up in single beds with the kids

Very spacious with a lovely view. Out of the way in the west side so it’s very quiet and peaceful. Anthony the taxi fella is very good and accommodating. He will bring you on all the lovely sites

The house was lovely very comfortable and Noel from couch service for large group was great he should be added to the list of taxis Also a drop of milk in the fridge would have been nice as the shop was shut when we arrived

The cleaning list was a bit much as the place was not that clean on arrival we had to clean counters before we made some food as they where sticky and dirty a lot of dust around spider webs and so on also some insects in the ensuite bathtub windows and doors had smudges all over with cleaning fee of €75 in the bill that list is too much and expecting Guests to strip and make beds and wash and dry bedding before leaving when the boat leaves at 8:15 is impossible otherwise

The house was clean, really easy to check in, and had every amenity you could need! The view from the house was lovely! Highly recommend this property!

It wasn't a negative for us because we liked being on the more remote side of the island, but perhaps to some people, they might find it a slight inconvenience to get to the property as it's quite far from the village by bicycle and taxis for groups were rather expensive. Again, for us, the more remote the better and I loved it!
