Reviewed Aug 20, 2026The unit having two separate bedrooms was a bonus. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was a good atmosphere.
It didn't worry us, but guests should keep in mind that there may be a band playing or something happening in the garden bar. But once the pub closes it is very quiet.

Not the hotels fault at all but the constant bleeping from the crossing was annoying, perhaps they could contact the council to have it removed during the night

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Clean and very neat. I went with my son and my younger brother, and he couldn’t stop complimenting the place. He kept saying, “This is the best place ever!” We really had a great time, especially after travelling for five hours all the way from Letterkenny, Donegal. The bed was very comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our two-day stay at Spout Property. We would definitely recommend it and would love to stay again.
Taxi are expensive to go to Newbridge I discover about public bus late next time will definitely use bus cause are 100% cheaper than taxes

The bathroom smelled of urine, there was an old sock behind the door, there was something floating in the toilet bowl.--Neither of us felt comfortable taking a shower there.

The room had just layer of curtain while being close to the road so getting undressed means you had to close the curtains completely. It was a saturday night stay and the music downstairs continued until early hours of sunday. For the money being charged that was very unfair.

Was far too expensive in my opinion. Double bed advertised was a 3/4. Saturday music was very loud had we not been down listening to it our self we wouldn’t have had any chance of any sleep. I know it’s a pub but may be good to advertise this and reflect it in the price.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2025The barman who checked me in and in general was on hand through out my stay was a real gentleman and very helpful and friendly, the room is spacious and clean and good bathroom. Bar has a friendly atmosphere and good selection of drinks. Central location and good availability for free parking around.
Could do with some net curtains for more privacy as people on the street can see into room unless you draw the main material curtains,also there was only paper cups for the tea and coffee in the room, not very pleasant or comfortable in my opinion, good old fashioned cups or mugs would be better.

The room was very basic, there was no hot water for a shower and the furniture was old, there was a bleeping sound coming from the pedestrian crossing all night long and we needed the window open so unavoidable and very annoying.
