De locatie is centraal en rustig.

The house is one of the best, if not the best, holiday lets we have ever stayed in. The location is great, a peaceful part of the town but close to the amenities. The garden is a very short stroll away, well worth a visit to just sit overlooking the pond watching the wild life with a beer or two. We met the host Dimitri when we were leaving, very friendly, even offered us a lift to train station. Love the house, love the town, love the area, hope to be back soon.

De matras in de kamer op het 1ste verdieping is redelijk doen . Je slaapt super hard .

Hygiëne , alles aanwezig

Niet toegankelijke , niet onderhouden tuin Foto’s heel anders dan de werkelijkheid

L’architecture ancienne et originale. Les espaces communs, vastes et bien agencés. Les équipements nombreux. La décoration et les matériaux employés. La réactivité du propriétaire. Le nombre de salles de bains et de WC.

On le savait par les descriptifs mais certains escaliers sont très pentus, heureusement sécurisés avec des poignées et des éclairages led le long des marches.

Super Lage, sehr nah an der Rennstrecke, öffentliche Parkplätze im Umkreis ohne Probleme zu finden. Die Sauna als Highlight ebenso top. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

op zich goed huis, met alle faciliteiten die je verwacht. Goed gelegen, vlot bereikbaar met parking vlakbij. Goed uitgeruste keuken, fijne sauna.

hygiëne. We hebben 30 euro bijbetaald voor voor beddengoed om te ontdekken dat de bedden vuil waren. Ze leken nog beslapen, er zaten zwarte haren in, pluisjes van sokken, vlekken, het beddengoed was verkreukt... Verder was het huis eigenlijk best vuil, veel stof, vuile borden, zelfs ongewasen tassen in de kast, vuil bestek, niet gekuiste oven... Op zich is het een hele mooi huis, maar de hygiëne was niet wat het moest zijn voor die prijs, zeker niet als er wordt bijgevraagd voor beddengoed... Voor deze prijs verwacht je een huis dat echt proper is met propere bedden en propere faciliteiten.

Leuk, ruim huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Weinig parkeerplek voor de deur maar in de buurt is altijd wel wat te vinden. Het bed op de eerste etage is erg hard, niettemin dankzij de stilte wel goed geslapen.

Het huis is redelijk schoon, maar vooral in de keuken behoeft het wat extra aandacht. De stof pluizen vlogen uit het kastje met de glazen, plankjes erg stoffig, spetter of vegen op de spiegel boven, prullenbak in de keuken was erg vies, er zat nog afval in en geen plastic zak. De eerste avond zaten er zo'n 6 dikke vieze vliegen in het huis. Dus daarna de ramen hermetisch dichtgeslagen. Maar helaas, iedere ochtend zaten er weer vliegen in de keuken. Niet fris, hier zo ik toch echt wat aan doen.

Heel mooi oud huisje met alle modern comfort. In het centrum van Stavelot, makkelijk voor de winkels en een terrasje. Midden in centrum, maar toch zeer rustig.

Le grand séjour

Het is een gezellige en kneuterig huis. Met kleine ongemakken van een oud huis. Maar voorzien voorzien van alle moderne gemakken.

De keukenvloer was echt heel erg koud. Dus schoenen aan tijdens het koken.

Alles was top. Heel fijn huisje en leuke dagen gehad. Dicht bij het centrum. Vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer. Wij gaan zeker terug.

De Hot tub / jacuzzi hebben we niet gevonden. Jammer dat er ook geen terras voor of achter is om gezellig buiten te zitten, je zit meteen op straat. De tuin is van het huisje verwijdert.

Het is een groot huis met mooie moderne keuken. De badkamers waren prima en hygiënisch. De omgeving is heel mooi en rustig. Geen last gehad van de buren. Het contact met de eigenaar was echt goed. Er moest wat gerepareerd worden en dat was zo gepiept.

Het is een mooi huis, maar we hadden wel last van elkaar omdat de vloeren erg kraken. Maar alsnog was het heel mooi.

De lokatie was perfect en de sauna was heerlijk

Leuk huis, uitgebreid ingericht, waardoor je zelf haast niks meer hoeft mee te nemen! Prachtige omgeving.

Wij dachten dat er een hot tub in de tuin zou staan, maar dit bleek het bubbelbad in de badkamer te zijn.

Casa su 2 piani con una camera da letto con bagno (con vasca idromassaggio!) annesso al primo piano ed una seconda stanza al secondo piano rialzata rispetto ad un secondo bagno con doccia. Soggiorno e cucina spaziosi e forniti di tutto. Un terzo WC a piano terra. C’è una sauna a disposizione dei clienti, una vera chicca. Parcheggio pubblico gratuito nelle immediate vicinanze. Padrone di casa sempre disponibile anche se non siamo riusciti a vederci

Se devo proprio trovare un difetto, ma non lo definirei nemmeno tale, la casa ha i pavimenti in legno quindi si sente lo scricchiolio quando qualcuno cammina e di notte può essere un po’ fastidioso. Lenzuola e asciugamani sono da pagare a parte x chi ne ha bisogno. E x chi ha non ha problemi di posto in valigia può anche essere una cosa positiva

Ein Platz um die Abende draußen im Garten oder Balkon zu verbringen hat uns gefällt!

The place was immaculate - very clean, well laid out, plenty of space (albeit over 4 floors), modern facilities including lovely bathrooms. Elegant kitchen and living room, and impressive-looking 2 storey-sauna (none of which we really used). Great location close to Stavelot centre and across the road from its excellent independent cinema. Good communication (by email and phone) with manager Dimitri.

Some confusion over check-out time; this could be made clearer on booking.com. Lighting was all new and fashionable, with motion sensors, but hard to work out (eg how to turn off main light in top bedroom without having to go back down the stairs). And could not find how to turn off basement or sauna lights, seemed a bit of a waste of energy. Floorboards were very creaky especially on the (many) stairs - to be expected in beautiful old building, but bear in mind if you're bringing kids or a group likely to keep different hours. Exceptionally warm weather meant the attic room was hot, with 6 windows facing east. But powerful fans are provided and were a big help. Unfortunate timing with very late night noisy techno concert outdoors at Abbaye (but only once a year hopefully!)

Prachtig oud huis op een mooie locatie. Heel smaakvol. Prachtig trappenhuis. Mooie stijlvolle hal. Zelfs een strijkplank. Goed geventileerd. Uitstekend toegeruste keuken. Mooi licht door dakramen. Rustig. Fijn dat er gescheiden afval was (miste alleen omschrijving van de kleuren op de bakken. Heb gegokt.) Degelijke houtkachel. Spelletjes en puzzel.

Heel weinig. Miste een maatbeker. Viltjes of sokjes voor de keukenstoelen zou fijn zijn, die snerpen op de vloer. En een routebeschrijving naar de tuin.

Beautiful location and worth your money

The curtains on the top bedroom did not hold back all the sun, i told the owner aswell and they said they will fix it as soon as possible :)

Cosy and peaceful house in an excellent location.

Cozy house in the centre of Stavelot. Historic and charmant. Well equipped.

The house is absolutely beautiful and was better than we ever could have expected. The house has old wooden structures and the furniture and lights just complete the place. We have really enjoyed our short stay and thank the host for his quick response and good organization. The sauna and wood stove were a nice and cozy addition and came in handy after our long walks in the forests. If you're looking for a nice house in the Ardennes, don't look further

LET ME MAKE CLEAR THAT THIS PLACE IS A-MA-ZING AND YOU SHOULD BOOK IT; (but if you are really looking for some negatives to make sure you're not dreaming then here you go) Things that would have made our stay absolutely perfect (which it already nearly was!!); - There are many places where you can easily bump your head. It would be handy if a small insulation strip or something like that was stuck to it. On the other hand, that was also part of the charm and authenticity of the house. - A sealing strip on the door of the sauna would help increase the temperature. We now used a towel to stop the draft and it increased the temperature by 10 degrees (which made the sauna reach a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, without it it was 30 degrees). - Keep in mind that the hottub is a bathtub with jets, which can only be used with 2 people at the same time. - To keep in mind: Two bedrooms are in the same space with a Mezzanine and share a bathroom. And the wooden floors do not isolate noises very well. If privacy is important, this might be a challenge. For us it was not a big problem and we easily made it work. Despite some minor criticisms our stay was PERFECT and we would recommend it to everyone! You will not find anything more beautiful than this house in the Ardennes (especially for the price).
