Emy Lake Apartment - near Castle Leslie, Glaslough

A wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings. The apartment was perfect for our needs (short stay) but it would also be perfect for a longer stay. Great additions were a washing machine & dryer.

Friendly host. Great outside space with amazing views of the lake. The apartment has everything you need to for a great break. The walk around the lake is beautiful, maybe try a swim next time.

Great location and so peaceful! The property owner was super friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, it has a spectacular view of the lake and it very close to local amenities. It was also very clean and had all the key items that we needed.

There isn’t anything really to say that we didn’t like. One very small observation was that the mattress on the single bed is a bit tired and could probably do with an upgrade. But this didn’t distract from what was a very nice place to stay and one we would definitely stay at again.

Kann mich den anderen positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Die Lage am See ist traumhaft! Das Apartment hatte alles was man braucht; vom Toaster bis zum Trockner für die Wäsche war alles vorhanden. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es wilde Kaninchen die überall herumhoppeln. Ich war dort komplett allein und habe mich zu keinem Zeitpunkt unsicher gefühlt, obwohl ich den falschen Schlüssel hatte und die Haustüre nicht abschließen konnte.

Fab house an views well worth a stay

L'emplacement est tout simplement magnifique, le logement était propre et spacieux, l'hôte était réactive. C'était parfait !

La connexion Wifi ne fonctionnait pas correctement Et nous serions bien restés un peu plus longtemps :)

The location is truly beautiful and full of charm, with a stunning view on the lake that makes the stay feel special from the very first moment. The setting is peaceful yet strategically placed, making it easy to reach many wonderful places and explore the area with ease. What made the biggest impression on us however was the host herself, Ger, who manages several accommodations here with simply amazing care and presence. In a situation that required sensitivity and attention, she met us with an extraordinary level of understanding, honesty, and human warmth, something we have never experienced elsewhere. Sometimes what stays with you is not just a place, but the humanity you encounter and in this case, it was truly exceptional.

Location was very good as we were attending a Wedding at Castle Leslie, 10 mins drive away. Comfortable bed, had our cupa in t morning in t patio looking out on a lovely lake. Took a walk by t lake in t mornings.

Stayed 2 nights...wish.it had been 4. Swimming 3 days. Children loved it. Safe lake within 5 min. House very spacious... enjoyed walks. 5 star...admitidally weather helped.Glaslough.is a beautiful village ...

Beautiful setting! Lovely and spacious. Comfortable double room in quiet location overlooking the lake. Although we didn't get to meet Geraldine in person she was so welcoming and called us to check if we needed a lift to the wedding we were attending. Would definitely stay again thanks v much

The apartment was lovely and spacious with a beautiful view of the lake.

We needed somewhere to stay for the night whilst we were attending a wedding a few minutes drive away in castle Leslie. It had everything we needed, plus the benefit of being in a beautiful location with a lake view. The owner, Geraldine, was so helpful. Excellent hosting!!!

It was clean, fresh, well equipped and the location was surrounded by beautiful countryside. Geraldine and Victor made us feel so welcome and at home.

Geraldine was very welcoming. The accommodation was warm, cosy and welcoming, and the views were just stunning.

We were attending a wedding at Castle Leslie in the afternoon. Host allowed us to check in early and gave us a lift to the venue. Couldn't have asked for more!!!

Just perfect for our plans. A quiet few days in the 'almost' sunny Countryside. The lakeside location was a terrific bonus, as per expectations!

Just the weather of course! A few shower between the downpours!! Thankfully quite a few sunny spells too

The Location was excellent and the lough was just a stones throw away from the apartment, which we all enjoyed the walk around it, especially the 2 Mini Yorkies. Geraldine was very helpful when we arrived. To be honest we were both up-set having to leave, we wished we could have stayed longer, but maybe next time x

Lovely space to stay & would recommend to anyone. Very spacious with beautiful views of the lake!

The only note was that there did not seem to be any iron or ironing board. Just a small note but would be a good thing to add!

Beautiful location and Geraldine was very kind to offer a lift the next morning back to Castle Leslie to get our car.

Disappointed there was no Tea or Coffee making facilities apart from a Kettle! Grubby Mugs and random Plates and Saucers Wi Fi was not the best

Fabulous house, in a fabulous location - the view from the living room to die for, Geraldine was very welcoming., and we are looking forward to a return trip.

I loved the apartment very clean and cosy, The bed was a little hard for me, the next time I think I,ll bring a topper, just a personal preference.

The apartment had everything you needed, the location was so nice and quiet, and the views of the lake were breathtaking!

The level of cleanliness was not where it should have been. Counters were sticky, and so was the table in the living room. There was hair on the shower drain and also on the floor. And the worst was the bed, where the sheets had clearly not been washed, evidenced by what looked like dog hair on the pillows, blanket, and sheets. It was disgusting honestly.

Apartment was spacious and clean.

The host is so nice and helpful. The property is very clean and has lovely little personal touches such as slippers and dressing gowns. The host also left water and orange juice in the fridge for us which was very much appreciated.

Easy check-in, lovely and clean, suited us perfect for a short work trip. Would highly recommend

Some sugar for tea and oil for cooking in the cupboards would have been good but this was only a very minor inconvenience.

The location was excellent and covered our needs for proximity to Castle Leslie. The owner Geraldine couldn't have been more help and I would certainly recommend the property.

Google dropped when we reached the village but, we contacted Geraldine and she literally guided us step by step to the property. Such a very kind lady !

Great location and lovely setting by the lake. We really enjoyed being able to run round the lake in the morning and loved having the cows in the adjoining field, a really lovely setting. A hands off approach from the host was mostly appreciated and easy, though a bit more info would have been handy to confirm. Was really handy for a wedding at castle Leslie estate.

The place could have been a bit cleaner. Lots of dog hair and stuff on the floors and the bins hadn’t been emptied in the bathroom and bedroom. Towels were a bit musty. Would have been good to know that the road to the property was closed for road works.

Superb stay. Really good view and the place was well presented. Everything was clean tidy and in great condition.

The mattress wasn't the most comfortable and an extra loo roll would have been good.

Beautiful location near the lake. Good outside space and lots of rabbits! 😀

A little scarce on some essentials in the kitchen. Could maybe do with a couple of sharp knives and a cutting board in case guests decide to cook.

Everything was lovely, really high spec. Host was very friendly and made sure we were happy, which we were. Views were fantastic, I was disappointed we could only stay for one night. Great value for money. Will definitely be back.
